Her emerald eyes fluttered open as an arm snaked around her waist. Abruptly she was pulled into someone's chest as her body tensed up. Last night was such a blur until everything came flooding back to her. "Hey i'mma have to go now baby. Bruce'll be needing me" he whispered into her ear sending chills up her spine. Nodding she felt the weight of the bed shift as he got up. Kori was as still as a plank of wood as she waited for him to leave. She clutched the blanket as hard as she could watching her knuckles turn white.

     She waited until the sound of his car revving outside disappeared in the distance. "I am the bad" she whispered as tears streamed down her cheeks. Standing up with the blanket wrapped around her she walked to the washroom. The thing she mostly remembered was how rough he was being. When she locked the washroom door she let the blanket fall to see the damage. Her lips were swollen and bruise marks in the shape of fingers around her hips and arms. "I am the dirty" she whispered as more tears clouded her emerald eyes.

     Turning the shower on and stepping in she hoped the warm water would wash away her pain. At the time she thought she wanted it but now that it was done she wished she never let him into the house. While in the shower her eyes shot open as she ran out wrapping her robe around her body. Stumbling down the stairs she searched the house looking for Raven. Looking outside there was an indent in the snow and dozens of footprints. Frowning this only made her begin to cry harder.

Running into the house she grabbed her cellphone and dialed the last person she talked to. "Hello?" A tired voice asked as Kori looked at the number. She had called Megan, they were texting about a good time the two of them could go shopping the day before. "Friend Megan I have done the bad and now-and now friend Raven is missing!" She cried out as the line went silent for a couple minutes. "Kori she's at Artemis's house. Gar was calling Raven this morning and Artemis picked up her phone" Megan said as Kori continued sobbing.

Taking a deep breath she wiped her tears and stood up. "Thank you friend Megan" she said before hanging up and scurrying upstairs. Pulling on a T-shirt, shorts and her jacket as she ran out of the house with her boots barely on. Jumping in her car she spew over to Artemis's house with tears clouding her vision. The gate opened as she drove up and got out of the car. Eagerly knocking on the door she kept wiping away the oncoming tears. An older blonde lady opened the door giving her a concerned look.

Kori began to babble about what had happened as Dinah let her into the Mansion. "Wait here I'll go and get-" Dinah began.

"I'm right here" Raven said in a bitter voice.

Kori ran over and engulfed the young teen in a hug. "I am of the sorry friend Raven! I am the bad person and the dirty!" She cried out as Raven sighed and patted her back. "So you're the girl who locked her out of the house" Jade said walking down the stairs scowling at Kori. "I did not do the meaning to. Richard would not let me answer the door" she sniffled out pulling away from Raven. Another pair of footsteps were heard as Artemis walked down the stairs. "How about we all of this discussion over breakfast?" Dinah asked as they all nodded.

Dinah was cooking as the four teens sat at the table. "Kori are you okay?" Raven asked as the girl nodded with a frown. The young teen shot the red head a knowing look as Kori sighed. "No I am not the fine. He was the rough and it hurt" she sniffled off taking her jacket off to show them the marks on her arms. "Yeah he's been kind of a dick lately and I'm going to beat the crap out of him when school starts up again" Artemis said as Kori nodded. She began to space out as her stomach began to feel funny.

They all called her name but she didn't hear them as she got increasingly pale. "Koriand'r!" Raven yelled as Kori shot up and dashed out of the kitchen. Raven ran after her as Artemis followed in tow. The red head was hunched over the toilet in the washroom puking her guts out. Raven stood over her rubbing her back soothingly until she finished. "Are you okay?" Raven asked as Kori nodded wiping her face with some tissue before flushing the toilet. "I am the sorry, it was probably from the sickening talk" she said as Artemis nodded.

They went back into the kitchen and ate the homemade pancakes that Dinah made. Raven could see how truly sorry Kori was and forgave her. "Richard is the not nice, I know that now" she said as Artemis patted her back. The two put their jackets and boots on before leaving the Mansion to drive back home.

     It was nice and warm as she sat on the couch wrapped up in a blanket. "Here you go my love" Kaldur said handing her a mug filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Right now since it was Christmas break they were hashing out their wedding plans. "So we agreed to have it on the beach and two possible places for the reception is the aquarium or that dance hall in that fancy hotel" she said as he nodded scrolling through the hotels page. The aquarium gave them an okay to use part of the place for the reception but the hotel didn't look half as bad. 

     She snuggled in next to him taking a sip of her hot chocolate. "I think we should do the aquarium. After all it is under the sea themed" she said as he raised an eyebrow looking down at her. The two had been at it for three hours now as she wrote stuff down in her pink book planner. "So your groomsmen will be Conner, Dick, Wally, Tim, Garfield, Jaime and Bart right?" She asked scribbling the names down. "Yes that is right, the best man is Roy" he said as she nodded. Of course his swim coach and trainer would be his best man.

     They had been best friends for the longest time. Roy had graduated last year and now taking care of a child. "I probably have the longest list for bridesmaids" Roquette said sighing as Kaldur rolled his eyes. "Lian was born and by the time the wedding rolls around she might be able to be the flower girl" she said as he smiled softly at her. Another hour flew by as she was now banging her head against the pink book. "I'm going to go crazy, can we take a break?" She asked as he looked up from the laptop.

     He closed the laptop and placed it on the coffee table. "Yes I believe a break is needed" he said rubbing his light green eyes. "I love your eyes Kal. They remind me of the coral in the sea" she said touching his cheek as he blushed a light shade of red. Even when it was Winter they still took walk on the snowy beach. "It sucks that we have to leave a couple days after the wedding" she said resting her head against his shoulder. Their boots crunched underneath the snow as the waves lapped up on the beach.

     He nodded with a sigh. The Olympics started up a couple days after the wedding. Luckily she was coming along to cheer him on. "I'll have a huge sign and everything Kal. They will all know that your wife is crazy" she said with a laugh as he smirked. He rested his head on top of hers as they just walked listening to the sounds of the icy cold waves hit the snowy beach. "I love you" she said in a small voice as they stopped walking. He turned to face her with a small smile. "I as well" he said leaning down and kissing her softly.

     Right now he was sitting on the couch getting an earful from his Aunt and Uncle. Bart was sitting next to him getting lectured as well. Apparently he lied to try and cover for Wally but it didn't work out too well. "Now do you both understand?" His Aunt asked after a long non-stop lecture. They both nodded with their heads hung down in shame. "Um I actually have a question?" Bart asked raising his head. His auburn hair partly covered his beautiful emerald eyes.

     "Can I have Jaime over?" He asked using his best pulpy dog eyes towards his Aunt and Uncle. "We're going out so as long as Wally watches then its okay" Iris said as he nodded with a grin plastered to his face. They watched their Aunt and Uncle slip their boots and jackets on before leaving. As soon as the door shut Wally watched as his cousin stood up. "Hey Blue you can come down now!" He yelled as Jaime appeared walking down the stairs. Wally raised an eyebrow but didn't question anything.

     He waved hello before standing up and going to his room. Artemis had spammed his phone with messages as he read through all of them. Instead of texting back he just decided to call. "Your best friend left marks on Kori! Actual bruises Wally!" She yelled as he winced holding the phone away from his ear. "Okay lower your voice before you break my eardrums" he said as he heard a sigh. "If you want to come over then go ahead the doors unlocked" he said with a smirk. It was usually either him going to her house or her going to his house.

     Immediately she hung up as he shrugged and stood up from his bed. Tossing his phone onto the bed he stretched and went back downstairs. Luckily he didn't walk into Bart and Jaime making out. Instead the two were watching a movie while cuddled up on the couch. "Hey Bart Arty's coming over for a bit" he said standing over the couch. The boy turned his head and gave him a thumbs up with a smile. As long as Bart was happy Wally didn't really care what he did. Twenty minutes later the front door opened as the blonde beauty walked in.

     Taking her coat and boots off she rubbed her hands together trying to warm up. "I can help with that" he said taking her hands in his and bringing them to his lip. He gently blew hot air onto her hands as she blushed a light shade of red. The trick worked though as her hands warmed up. "What are you two dorks watching?" She asked playfully ruffling Bart's hair. "We're watching that new superhero show" Jaime said as she nodded slightly amused. She went up to Wally's room and as soon as he closed the door she began to talk.

     He sat there and listened as she paced back and forth explaining the man ways she was going to beat his best friend up. "While we were waiting for breakfast Kori just got up and ran. We found her puking her guts up in the washroom!" She yelled which slightly intrigued. I mean why would she be puking?
