~You Meet~

-Third person-

You were at the local pound taking a few of the new dogs and cats baths so that they would look their best when people came to pick out one of them to take to their new homes. 

"See now that wasn't so bad was it?" You giggled as you finished drying a small, black kitten off after its bath. It looked up at you and let out a soft mew and tilted its small head to the side slightly. 

"Ooo, you adorable little fluff ball~" You cooed softly and handed it to a fellow volunteer who took it away to where it would be sleeping until it got adopted. Yawning a small bit you stretched your arms up above your head and walked back to where more dogs were waiting, especially about this one small puppy you heard someone talk about that was dyed green and passed out when they had found them. 

You walked to the kennel it was put in and looked inside to see it still soundly asleep on its doggy bed. Kneeling down next to the small animal you gently pet its head and spoke to it in a soft whisper.

"hey there little guy, come on now lets get you cleaned up now" you said as you continued to pet it. It slowly woke up with small yawn as it got up and stretched its small green paws in front of it- well actually him now that you can see him a little bit better. "good morning little guy"

He looked up at you then looked around blinking a few times before his little eyes widened. Suddenly before your eyes the once green puppy had morphed into a boy; A green, rather cute in a weird way, but a boy. You stared at him shocked at hat you had just witnessed and began to stutter in utter shock and disbelief.

"What the literal heck!?" you exclaimed probably a bit to loudly causing a few of the dogs around you to start up a confused clamor of  howls and barks.

The boy laughed a little and scratched the back of his head "I think you might have scared them a little bit". 

"Stating the obvious I see, also back to my little what the heck thing. What the heck!? you were just a puppy and now you're a boy!? And why are you green? Ya know what that part isn't to important but seriously what!?" You rambled trying to make sense of what just happened.

"um, well I turned into a puppy to relax and chill out but then I fell asleep and next thing I know I'm in a kennel with you, yeah that's pretty much all I can really say, but about the shifting thing if it wasn't obvious I have powers" He explained as simple as he could at the moment.

"oh...OH! You're Beastboy!" You said finally having connected the pieces together and held in a squeal, not like you would tell him but he's one of your favorite heroes in the world now a days.

"yeah I am, but you can call me Garfield" he said smiling with a little silly and awkward smile.

"Alright Garfield, it's nice to meet you. You can call me (Y/n) if you want too" you introduced your self a bit awkwardly not really knowing what to do in this situation, you weren't exactly great with guys, even less so with guys who're heroes.

"Sweet!" He smiled but then let out a small gasp "Shoot! Megan is gonna kill me! I gotta go now, Thanks for waking me up and stuff see ya!" he exclaimed quickly and turned into a bird and flying out of the kennel before shortly coming back as a boy again. "Um, how do I gt out of this place?" he asked blushing lightly.

You couldn't help but let out a small giggle. After closing the Kennel you were in you showed him the way out, or more like you carried him out because he had changed back into a bird to hide his embarrassment. Once you has reached the exit he flew off and you waved goodbye before returning back to work in a much more peppy mood.

~Second Meeting~

-First person-

 I was taking a walk in the forest like area near where I live to just clear my head because sometimes I can't just be in my own home without listening to screaming or laughing from my parents. They seriously gotta figure out their relationship.

 Swinging a stick around as I walked down the trail I stopped near a huge tree and walked around the base of the tree, it was definitely one of the biggest trees I've come by so far. I sat down laying against the tree and letting out a rare relaxed sigh and closed my eyes finally being able to get a little bit of rest. 

-Le Mini time skip-

"Hey. Hey you okay? Hello?" a faintly familiar voice said pulling me from my nap and forcing me up from my sleep. Opening my eyes slowly to let the adjust to the light I let out a small yawn as I looked around to see who had woken me up.

"Huh..?". No one was there, weird. I honestly didn't want to get up because I know that if I stand up then I'll be all sore from laying down and I honestly don't wanna deal with it but if someone is around here I should better leave unless someone wants to loose their heads.

So reluctantly I got up from the ground and as predicted my back was all sore from staying in such and uncomfortable position for so long. I stretched until I got a few, or actually a lot of cracked from my back, legs and neck and smiled because of how good that actually felt.

"I don't get why people do that, doesn't it hurt?" The voice that had woken me up asked from rather close to me.

"Not really" I answered as I looked around for the owner of the voice but then looked up above me to come nose-to-nose with Beastboy, literally. Stepping backwards away from him I smiled and laughed a little bit because he was actually hanging upside-down from a low hanging tree-branch by his tail how monkeys would do in movies. 

He flipped back onto the ground with a cheeky smile. "seems our roles have been reversed huh"

"Umm, what?" I asked confused too what he had meant by that.

"Ya know who's waking up who, last time you were the one to wake me up but this time I woke you up" He explained with a few hand motions.

"Oh, yeah I guess. So what are you doing here?" I asked him, was there a hero fight near by? I think I would have heard of it wouldn't I?

"Nothing really, I was just swinging by and then I noticed you were asleep so I just wanted to make sure you were okay" he said rocking back and forth on his heels.

"Thanks for the concern, wanna hang out?" I asked him and walked a little closer to where he was standing.

"Sure!" He was grinning widely and I could notice that his tail was swinging from side to side just like how the puppies the shelter do whenever they see people coming by.

~The other you~

-Third person-

"oh come on sugar pea come on now tell me all about it! Is he gonna be your new puddin~" Your mother cooed excitedly as the two of you tried on necklaces and rings while your dad handled some 'business'. You're parents are none other then the queen and king of Gotham, The joker and Harley quinn the absolute out of their mind killing couple. Also the ones who adopted you when Harley had found you in a dumpster crying and alone a few years back.

"No mom it's nothing like that trust me, he can't handle all (Y/h) of this" you said motioning up and down to your self in your back and red costume that was inspired by some of your mom's previous costumes. You personally love the gloves.

 "Well good cause no animal boy is taking my rotten little clown!" she said and squealed when the two of you heard a gun shot followed by your fathers laugh that gave you chills, but sort of a creepy cool kind of way.

"Oooo! That's my puddin getting the job done!" Your mother said in an adoring sigh. You rolled your eyes smiling as your dad came out with a few of this guys who work for him in tow. 

"Come on you two" he said laughing in his usual cheery, joking tone. 

"coming" both you and your mother chirped as you followed next to him and got in the car speeding away when you heard sirens chasing after you per usual.

"Ugh they always ruin family night!" Your mother yelled furiously from the passenger seat as you sat in the back.

"I got it" You said smiling casually a you grabbed one of the varieties of guns from under the seat and stuck your upper half out of the window of the car and started shooting at the cop cars like a crazy person. "DIE YOU POPSICLE WANNA BE'!!" You yelled and let out a laugh as you shot one of their tires causing the car to skid and hit the one next to it. Getting back into the car you giggled and laid back happily and relaxed as your crazy parents laughed and laughed as the three of you drove all the way back to what you call 'home'.

The home of The Joker, Harley Quinn and their daughter Jinx. Or at least that's what they called you.

~Messing with patrol~

-His P.O.V-

My sister M'gann and I were both on patrol tonight to talk about some things that have been happening until we reached the topic of (Y/n) who I may or may not have old her about which to be hones was probably my fault to begin with.

"Come on little bro can't you at least tell me her name~ Pleeeeaaaassssee~" She pleaded trying to get the answer out of me while respecting my want for my thoughts to be off limits when it comes to things like this.

"No, no, no, nope, no way! Sorry big sis but I don't want to make her upset by telling you" I said and I could feel my cheeks begin to heat up slightly.

"Oh, fine. Lets split up for now and cover more ground" I nodded in agreement and we both split off our separate ways.

-10 minutes later-

-First P.O.V-

"Holly mother of cream puffs I yelped giggling and avoided beast boy' attack, he was currently trying to scratch me maybe? Because he's in the form of a sort of tiger and sort of clawing at me to probably try keeping me still.

"Oh come on green bean, can you really not tag me? If not this game isn't any fun!" I exclaimed laughing happily as I continued to avoid his attacks, that is until he turned into a Raven mid attacked and left a few small scratches on my face but one on my cheek and damn does it sting.

I hit him away hard using the back of by fist which knocked his a little bit away from me, just far enough so that I can get a few more steps away from him. 

"Come on green bean don't you know any hand to hand? You got some pretty cheap moves using your powers like that"  I mocked him as I rolled my shoulders a little bit.

"Like you're one to talk!" He exclaimed after turning back to his human form with an adorable frown on his face.

"Awe, are you mad? Come on now you should turn that frown upside-down!" I yelled and pulled out my gun aiming it at him. 'Sorry beasty..' I thought when I was about to shoot him but was stopped when oh you know a giant rock was thrown at me! I mean what the literal heck!

"Beast boy are you okay!?" Miss Martian called out worried taking her attention ff of me for a few minutes which allowed me the chance to get away which you know I'm taking! 

"You got so lucky Gar" I mumbled to my self as I escaped

~You meet his friends~

"Gar please don't make me" You whined as you laid down on his back as he walked in the forest in the form of a mini elephant. He didn't respond per say more like he gave you a pat with his trunk.

"ugh, fiiiiine". You honestly just didn't want to have to meet people but hey you can't be a recluse forever can you? The answer is yes, yes you can but it's not like Garfield is gonna allow you to be.

After a few minutes you and Garfield reached a small clearing that you didn't even know existed near here and turned back his human form without warning. You fell down on top of him with the both of you now on the ground, him under you with you on top of him the both of you blushing darkly.

"S-sorry!" You both apologized at the same time and stumbled to get up and away from each other when you heard people laughing. You both looked up and see none other than Blue beetle and Impulse on their butts laughing at the state we were in.

"Shut up guys!" Garfield yelled at them still beet red from the embarrassment.

The two of you quickly got to your feet dusting yourselves off. You smiled getting only a little bit over your blush but decided to stay behind Garfield.

"Guys this is (Y/n) the girl I've been talking about, she's nice so please don't tell M'gann about her! I really don't need her coming here and freaking out" Gar introduced you then began to ramble.

"No problem Hermano your secret is safe with us, right Impulse?" Blue beetle said to the red head next to him, you could clearly hear the Spanish accent in his voice.

"Yeah! You don't have anything to worry about we'll keep her a secret until you guys are ready to admit you're dating to Miss Martian" Impulse said rather quickly but both You and Gar still blushed at the thought.

"We aren't dating!" You both exclaimed together but you both felt a little bad when you heard the other person say it. 

"Yeah sure you're not" Impulse said sarcastically.

For the rest of the afternoon the four of you spent the day talking about random things but your thoughts continued to wonder back to how against the idea of being with you Gar felt, why should you care though? Not like you felt anything more than friendship for him... Right?..

~Asking you out/Finding out~

You and Garfield were in the field, which had became your regular meeting place, drinking smoothies that you had made for the two of you while your parents were out probably planning how to kill the batman.

"These are really good (Y/n)! Maybe you and my sister should make snacks together sometimes, also will you go out with me, hey did you put strawberries in this?" He said pretty quickly and looked at the smoothie.

Nearly choking on your smoothie you stared at him wide eyes like a deer in headlights. "What did you just say?"

"If you put strawberries in the smoothie" he repeated

You shook your head. "no before that".

"Maybe you and my sister should make snacks together?" He raised a brow.

"Noo, did you just ask me out?" You asked him in disbelief.

"O-oh, y-yeah. Um (Y/n) would you go out with me?" He asked nervously.

You have to admit you have developed a bit of a crush on Garfield for a while now but didn't do anything about it for two reasons. One, you didn't know if he felt the same or not and two, YOU ARE A VILLAIN!

'Ugh... I should tell him.. I mean how bad could it be if I didn't tell him right?' You thought to your self as you peered at his hopeful and nervous eyes.

'Oh dammit beasty...' You thought to your self and mentally sighed. 'No I have to tell him the truth..'

With your resolve in mind you let out a small sigh and turned serious. "Garfield I have to tell you something that I've been keeping from you and I understand if it makes you hate me" you started off which seemed to make him more nervous.

"You have a boyfriend don't yo-" he began but you cut him off.

"No shhh and let me talk okay?". He nodded and stayed quiet.

"Look the truth is I'm Vixen, daughter of the Joker and Harley Quinn" you said straight to the point. His eyes widened and he backed away from you shocked.

"W-what? No way you're way different than she is" he said denying your words.

"Gar I'm not kidding, she and I are the same person." You said your voice threatening to falter a little. You wanted to say that you were just kidding but you knew you had to get this out now before he found out later.

He looked to be lost in his thoughts as he looked at the ground trying to sort out everything.

You stood up and avoided looking at him. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was afraid you'd hate me... bye Garfield" you mumbled the last part as you started to leave.

Before you had the chance to leave he grabbed your hand and held it tightly. "Please don't go. I don't hate you. Sure you tried to shoot me once but you really don't do anything super bad so it's okay! I mean I really like you, villain side and all.." he mumbled blushing. "So I'll ask again. Will you go out with me?".

You grinned and giggled softly nodding "alright but I warned you who I am, don't be surprised if I'm mad".

"It's okay, I still thing you're amazing" he said back to his excited self which made you smile even more as the two of you cuddled up and continued to ejoy your smoothies.

~You do something cute~

You and Gar were cuddling up next to each other in the field when you started to play with his hair.

He noticed and watched as you did so smiling slightly cause you seemed so focused on his hair. He couldn't help but to snicker a little which snapped you from your thoughts.

"Hm?" You asked curiously looking at him.

"Oh nothing nothing, you're just really cute.." he mumbled embarrassed which made you blush.

"Um thank you" you said and pecked his cheek than went back to playing with his hair.

'I'm so lucky' He sighed happily.
