Double Meaning
(Robin's P.O.V)
I blinked. "Your name is Cat?" I asked the girl in front of me.
"Yeah. Unfortunate name, huh?" Cat asked, dusting herself off.
"No, I kinda like it. Cats are cute," I scratched my head as I looked up to the sky, avoiding looking at Cat. Bats are better though.~
Through the corner of my eye, I could see Cat's head snap up to look at me.
"T-thanks."
I smiled and looked back to her. I shoved my hands into my pockets. My smile dropped. "Why were those guys bothering you anyways?" I sent a glance to the boys still on the floor.
"Oh, they do it all the time. Its because I have red hair," Cat explained. I looked back at her.
"Red hair? Whats wrong with it?" I asked.
"I don't know... They just don't like it. They call me stuff like tomato or something like that."
"Tomato?" I looked at her red hair which was reflecting sunlight. I walked up to her and took a strand of her sparkling hair.
"It looks really nice to me," I complimented as I stared at the strand. Thats when I realized how weird I had just been. "U-uh. Sorry!" I jumped back. "I didn't mean to be weird or anything. I swear I'm not some kind of nut-job or stalker! It-it's just-" I panicked, waving my hands around frantically. A deep blush had settled on Cat's face. I am starting to understand the tomato thing, although that doesn't make it right.
"No, its okay. Thank you though," Cat smiled. "What brings you to the park? Oh, wait that was a stu-"
"No. I'm actually new around here." I explained.
"You're new? Around this area or just the city in general?"
"City in general. I'm from Gotham."
"Gotham? Wow. Thats a... Cool city."
"Heh. Yeah..." I rubbed the back of my neck.
"I have some free time, want me to show you around?" Cat offered.
"That'd be great, actually."
"Then we'll start over there," Cat pointed to the East.
I shrugged. "I don't see why not," Cat grabbed my arm and pulled me along with her. I sped up to a fast jog to keep up with her, leaving the grumbling jerks on the floor.

"And over there is the donut palace! I assure, it's literally the best! Their donuts really are the best, it's like they're for actual royalty! Then over there, you can buy crepes. It really is good. Oh! And behind us!" I turned my head to look behind us to see an ice cream vendor. Joey's Ice-Cream.
"It may not look like much, but I assure you, it has the best ice cream in the entire city! Joey has his own cows! Well, actually his family owns a farm, so they send him milk. Which is why his ice-cream is the best. While other people have pretty good ice cream, no one can beat Joey's!" Cat explained with a burst of cheeriness. Were those stars in her eyes? I think she was also drooling...
"You really like it that much?" I asked. Is it healthy to have such a love for ice cream?
"Have you ever tasted mint chocolate chip?! Its amazing! Especially Joey's... Ah, dammit! I'm gonna go buy some!" Cat declared, walking across the street without even looking. I blinked.
"Cat!" I shouted. I ran after her as she narrowly avoided a car. "Are you crazy?!" I shouted over a car horn. I jumped to the side to avoid being hit by a car.
"Little bit, actually!" Cat cackled and jumped back onto the pavement. People stared at her with eyes of shock and disbelief. I jumped next to her, catching my breath from almost being hit by a car. Although my right leg was...
"Why the hell would you willingly run into traffic?!" I asked, my voice raised as I stood straight.
"Hmm... That's simple. It doesn't bother me. I'm not scared of a little traffic," Cat tapped his finger against her chin. She marched forward towards Joey's ice cream.
"Oi!" I called after her.
"What? I just want some ice cream..."
"Yeah, I know, but you can't just do that! You could get seriously hurt or even die!"
"So? Its not like anyone would notice, let alone care... They only care about her..." Cat muttered looking down. I had a feeling 'her' had a double meaning...
"I would care. You'be been so nice and given me a tour around the city," Don't forgot about all that helpful information about the local superhero here... "You've helped me so much, and it'l be unlikely that I'll forget you."
"I was simply repaying you for helping me. Thats all."
"I doubt anyone would go to so much trouble because of what I did. You had another reason for it." I stated, narrowing my eyes. I think Cat understood my double meaning because she narrowed her eyes at me. "I was just doing what I was supposed to do. Help people. Its like my job."
"Sounds like a night time job," Cat said, her eyes narrowed at me.
"It can be a day time job too. Less attention."
"Most people work day jobs all the time."
"Expect for the more... Gifted people if you will. It takes skill to stay up in the late. Only the skilled fighters can do it," I hinted. Cat glared at me.
"Follow me real quick, Mr Hero," Cat stated. Shes pretty good with double meanings. She already knows I'm either a hero or villain, but yet she refers to earlier when I helped her in case anyone was listening.
"Sure, I have no problem with that," I smirked. So I was right then. Cat is the superhero. I followed Cat through an alley, we made another turn so no one could see as they passed by. Cat stopped, I also stopped. A chilly wind blew through the alleyway, the sun no longer reaching us. I felt somewhat cold. The time was 2:38pm. Cat's red hair blew in the wind. I tensed my muscles, ready for an attack at any moment. I was on high alert. For all I know, Cat could be a villain because of the bullying she's been through. While this possibility is unlikely, you can never be too sure.
"Who are you? Really?" Cat asked, without turning to face me.
"It's rude to talk to people without facing them."
"Answer me."
"I don't just tell people who I am without knowing who they are first."
"Fine. But answer me this first; Are you a superhero or supervillain?" Cat turned her body around to face me slightly. She didn't turn to face me fully but it was good enough.
"Well, I generally like to think since I help people, then I'm a superhero," I answered. Cat fully faced me, her hair still blowing in the breeze. Wait a minute, this breeze... Isn't natural. Thats when I noticed the faint glow surrounding Cat. My eyes widened and I took a step back.
"You have this smell around you... It's put me on high alert since I met you. Your not like everyone else. Your not just some passerby, that's clear enough. Who are you?" Cat asked, her eyes slowly changed colours from brown to a kind of greeny colour.
"Your name... Is Ichigo. Right? That's what you said earlier," I asked, narrowing my eyes. Cat glared at me. Suddenly, Cat's body was engulfed in a pink light.
The light disappeared, and the person standing in front of me, was not Ichigo. My eyes widened and I took a step back.
"Who are you?!" I screamed as my eyesight turned black.
