Trolling Robin, Answers Revealed

Happy New Year guys! This will be my present for you guys. Sorry for the long wait! Hehe... Honestly I was a little lazy on writing this and lost some motivation, but I didn't want this to end here yet! I already had some stuff planned. And if I decide to make a sequel, I have a good idea of how it'll go. I also spent my break with my family since they're really important to me and I don't get out a lot. I actually wanted to work on this last week, but I had to look after my cute hyperactive little cousins (which lasted for a week while they were here).

Thanks for being patient with me! I hope this chapter surpasses or meets your expectations. I kinda felt bad while writing this cause I felt it was a bit more of fillers and boring stuff. So, I tried adding some funny elements to it. (Some characters are prob ooc here for plot purposes or not.)

Okay, I'll continue my note after you read this since I don't want to keep you waiting. ON WITH THE STORY!

Btw, if I haven't been doing this...

Disclaimer: I do not own any of this magnificence characters or shows, etc. They go to their respective owners.

"Talia," Batman acknowledged. "Let us go so Robin can be treated." Talia glared at him, taking a few steps forward.

"I don't think so," she denied. "Beloved, you trespassed here with your superhero chumps, your sidekicks, and your kids and expect me to let you off that easily?" Talia looked back to Robin, who looked like he was getting worse and worse. At this rate, he would die of blood loss. She'll have to work quick.

"I'll be merciful for once," she told him. "Take everyone and leave, but leave Robin here." At this, everyone had angry looks, but they didn't openly react as Batman had his hand held up.

"I can't let you do that," he argued. "Robin needs medical help quickly. He has to come with us." Talia shook her head.

"And he shall surely die before you reach there," she snapped. "If you wish for him to live, then leave him with us. I promise no harm shall be done to him. Just the opposite. You have my word, and you know how we al Ghuls keep our words. Arguing right here and now us not helping."

Batman narrowed his eyes in suspicion. Talia gave him a smug look and she crossed her arms and tapped her fingers. It was like she was nonverbally saying tick tock.

"Head back team," Batman finally decided. In return, people gave him shocked looks. The Batman, who gets what he wants when he wants, who doesn't let other people bargain with him, was letting this woman get away with one of their teammate, friend, and his protege.

"We can't just leave him!" Kid Flash protested. "Who knows what she could do to him!"

"We're leaving," Batman ordered. "She is a person true to her words. We'll talk about this once we get back. Talia, I'll be back soon. I still have certain topics I need to speak to you about." And with a sweep of his cape, he walked off. Not far behind, the others followed, making sure to give her an evil glare. Once they were gone, she turned to the two boys on the ground.

"Bring a gurney and prep the medical supplies," she ordered to a nearby follower. "Damian, how is he?" She walked and knelt down next to Robin and Damian.

"Mother... I... cannot determine how bad his injuries are," Damian informed. "The dagger could have lacerated major organs. I do not know how bad though, sorry Mother." Talia put her hand on Damian's shoulder and gave him a nod that silently said a 'good job.' Damian nodded, his hand gripping onto Robin's cape. Not long after, the gurney came, and Robin was carefully placed onto it and taken to the medical ward they had.

"Damian, he will be fine," Talia reassured her son. "We have the necessary tools to heal him." Damian nodded, but he still observed Robin carefully, his eyes somewhat cloudy and thoughts filled his mind.

Young Justice: A New Bat

"What was that?" Wally demanded to Batman. "Why did we have to leave him there? He's much safer with us. For a paranoid Bat, you sure trust the female villains a lot." Batman or not, Wally was beyond worried and angry to care. The team stood by Wally, silent, but agreed with him. The adults glanced at Batman curiously. Sure, they trust him, but they wondered what he was thinking about too.

"Calm down," Batman ordered. "I know not to trust her completely. I'm sending the team back there to rescue Robin. With this many people, it was not a good choice to stay. The team will be assigned a stealth mission."

"Can we-" Jaybird began, but was soon shushed by Batman and his glare. Grumbling to himself, he and the rest of the bat kids pouted. Too bad none saw the mischievous looks the bat kids had.

"Okay, so we go and rescue Robin," Artemis crossed her arms, "but how are we supposed to escape without anyone noticing? There's not exactly a small group of assassins there." Batman narrowed his eyes.

"I'm trusting you not to get discovered," he snapped. "We're coming for one member, not increasing that amount."

"We wouldn't have to save him if he didn't jump in front of it," Jaybird mumbled quietly. "I know that's part of the job and all, but why did he? It looked like he really needed to protect that person." The others shrugged, Black Bat's eyes widened as she took a tighter grip on Red Robin.

"Dami," she realized. "park boy!" The sudden, unfamiliar voice surprised them all. All turned to her with confused looks.

"Black Bat, what are you-" Jaybird wondered before realizing what she meant. "That's right! That's what he called that brat!"

"Brat?" Wally asked. "What are you talking about?" Since the beginning of his friendship with Dick, he hasn't ever heard about a brat or a kid he knew.

"A few days ago, we were at a park and this kid shows up," Red Robin informed him. "Apparently he and Robin know each other. He ended up hanging with us and there was this one time, Robin called him Dami! How does Robin know an assassin?" The group stood there awkwardly in complete silence. They thought they knew a lot of Robin, but it seems like there's still many secrets they don't know about. Batman turned around, brooding as he walked out towards the Zeta Tubes.

"Where are you going?" Spoiler called. "What are we gonna do now?" Batman stopped in his steps and tilted his head back a bit.

"Be prepared to initiate a rescue mission in 3 hours," Batman ordered. "Until then, take care of the wounds you have, rest, and plan. I still need to do some research." With that, he left. The teenagers and kids just stood there. None had an idea what to do, but they didn't feel like relaxing. The rest of the mentors had also left right after Batman did. They still had their duty to patrol their cities. It got too quiet, Wally just had to break it.

"So, what's the plan?"

Young Justice: A New Bat

Eyes shot right open as Dick suddenly sat up. Unfortunately for him, that was a bad choice. He immediately hunched over, automatically trying to stifle the sharp pain. Groaning, he let out a sigh as the pain faded away before he felt pressure wrapping around him and pain escalating again.

"Ack, wait, Dami?" Dick was bewildered. Ignoring that throb he felt in his abdomen, he pulled Damian up next to him and enveloped him in a hug.

"What's wrong Lil' D?" Dick murmured. "It's rare for you to initiate hugs." He felt Dami's body shake. Curious, he pulled away just to see Damian crying silently.

"If only I was more careful," Damian hiccuped quietly. "You wouldn't be injured."

"It's fine, Dami," Dick laughed lightheartedly. "I don't mind jumping in front." Damian shook his head. Maybe it was his imagination, but Dick was pretty sure Damian gripped his clothes tighter.

"That's not it..." Damian mumbled. "You're one of the people I trust, someone like a real brother to me. I don't want to lose you." Dick gave Dami another set of hugs from him, reassuring and comforting the boy, reminding him that he's too tough to die.

"You know what Dami?" Dick asked. "I'll stay here with you until the Bats sends a rescue team! Come on! Let's go to our training room!" He jumped off of the bed and started heading towards the door. He did his best to muffle his sharp intakes of breaths.

"Tch," Damian crossed his arms, following right after. "It's only been an hour and a half since you had a knife in your guts. You're still injured and shouldn't be doing anything right now. I also have other places I need to be before we could train." Letting out an small grunt, he let Dick grab onto him and drag him out.

"Then let's get those things done with and let's go!" He stated.

Young Justice: A New Bat

"Coast is clear," Kid Flash noted, speeding into the building to take out more guards. Others ran after, making sure to take down whoever shows up.

"Hey Kid Idiot!" Artemis yelled. "Look where you're heading!" Kid Flash looked up to see he's about to slam into one of the guards with a sword pointed at him. Skidding, he inches closer to the sword, but suddenly, a shadowy figure pushed the guard down.

"Where would you be without us," Jaybird smirked.

"Why are you here?" Kid Flash sighed. "Oh man, Bats will totally kill us."

"We'll deal with the consequences when the time comes," Red Robin shrugged. "We're more concern with getting our brother back. Now let's go!"

Young Justice: A New Bat

"For a building with such a large amount of guards, it's easy to get in," Miss Martian noted. They slip by each door, managing to take a peek inside the rooms and leaving quickly and without getting caught.

"Well, well," Talia noted from somewhere semi far off. "This will be interesting." She smirked, ordering to let them pass without giving the group of kids the hint of knowing their presence.

"Hey, this room was never here last time!" Red Robin noticed, pointing to these two big doors. The team gave a questioning look. They've been here before?

The two big doors actually had windows on the door, so Jaybird and Red Robin, being the fast ones, raced and took a peek.

"It's Dick!" Red Robin confirmed, "and he's with that brat! Wait, are they sparring with swords right now?" This caught everyone's attention. They huddled together, pushing and shoving each other to see.

It was a weird sight. Robin had his mask on, but he wasn't wearing his uniform. He wore clothes similar to how the assassins did. Jumping around, Robin slashed his sword, and the boy met every attack. It had seemed like a mesmerizing dance. They couldn't take their eyes off.

"Your posture is slacking," Damian noted, slashing at Robin's weak spot. Robin flipped away and slashed on his own.

"Give me a break," Robin pouted. "I didn't have much time to practice yet, but what about your posture for the trapeze? I don't see how it's any better." Damian glared and looked away, not saying anything. Robin laughed, knowing the answer.

"You do realize we have guests watching right?" Damian pointed out. Robin looked to the side and saw who they were and grinned.

"Right on schedule if I do say so myself," Robin said cheerfully. "Am I psychic or what?" Damian rolled his eyes.

"You're the true mastermind," Damian sarcastically replied. "What do you want to do now?" Robin shrugged, smirking.

"Eh, why stop training? I told Talia what to do when this happens," Robin cackled. "Let's see what happens."

"You're the real demon," Damian sighed, going back to attacking.

"Did he just ignore us?"

"What are they saying?"

"Stop shoving!"

"I can't see!"

"Be quiet or someone will hear us," Artemis hissed. This gained many guilty looks from the people speaking, but she waved it off.

While they were all busy pushing, shoving, and arguing with each other, they didn't notice the audience clad in black that were surrounding them. Before they knew it, each were grabbed and held up into the air.

"I tried telling you guys," Spoiler grumbled.

"No you didn't," Jaybird argued back.

"Did too!" Spoiler groaned exasperatedly. "You were just too busy arguing like now to notice."

One of the assassins knocked and walked into the room Robin and Damian were in to inform them of the intruders. Robin sneakily grinned at Damian who rolled his eyes. They walked over to the group of prisoners, who gave Robin a joyful look. He was going to save them! Damian gave a sarcastic go ahead gesture to Robin.

"Hmm," Robin studied the group. "Trespassing on private property is punishable by imprisonment. Guards! Take them to the dungeons!" Letting out a cackle, he watched as they were dragged off. Artemis and Kid Flash were repeatedly yelling troll and traitor to him. Damian shook his head at his so called brother's antics.

"What?" Robin became defensive after seeing Dami's deprecating look. "I've always wanted to say that. At least I could always blame you and Talia for injecting a drug or something into me to act like that." Saying the last part in a playful tone, he ran off to see Talia with Damian chasing right after.

Young Justice: A New Bat

"That little troll," Artemis fumed. "When I get my hands on him..." The others sat on the floor, just done.

"What if he's been injected with something to forget us or to act that way?" Kid Flash suggested. Artemis whacked him on the head.

"That's so idiotic," she was now irate. "That sounds like something from a fictional comic."

"And who says we aren't?" Jaybird retorted. "What if all of this is actually just someone's imagination gone wild and is being written and read as we speak?"

"That's an absurd idea," Red Robin sighed.

"It could be possible," a new voice bounced around the room.

"Tch, like that's likely," another, more childish, voice scoffed.

"Robin!" Artemis growled, going to the door. "How could you do this? Are you a traitor? Did you betray us for Ra's al Ghul?"

"Robin?" he tilted his head. "How do you know my name? Who are you?"

"See!" Kid Flash cried out. "I knew it!" The team had bewildered faces. Robin secretly looked over to Damian with a faint hint of a smirk on his face. Damian gave him a sarcastic 'really?' face expression. The bat kids noticed and played along, knowing how funny this could be later.

"Enough talk," Talia ordered, sashaying towards the group. "You have disobeyed me. Do you wish for harm to come upon your friend?"

"We came to rescue him from you!" Superboy slammed his fist to the wall next to her face. However, she remained unfazed.

"Nevertheless, your lack of covertness alerted me of your presence," she sneered. "No wonder your precious teammate was injured."

"Hey, Talia," Jaybird scowled. "He's hurt cause he protected your follower." He glared at Damian who in turn, glared back.

"Know your place," Damian smirked. "You're a prisoner. I can do what I please with you right now." Before he could say anymore, Talia placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Enough," she ordered quietly. "For your release, Batman has been informed to come and pick you up. I'll be lenient this time, but not the next. If you are to come here again without permission, you will be executed."

"It's time," Robin announced, startling the group. What's time? What's going on? What's he talking about?

"Bring the prisoners into the room," Talia ordered. "We need to prepare for my beloved's arrival." And with that done, Talia, Robin, and Damian left the dungeons.

"Get ready," Robin mused, speaking to no one in particular, "for the best surprise of the century!"

Young Justice: A New Bat

"Talia," Batman called. "I'm here. Now let the team and Robin go." Talia stood not far off, taking a smug position. Robin and Damian were behind the curtains. The prisoners were tied to the floor in the corner.

"Hello beloved," Talia greeted. "I have a feeling we need to talk? Is it about that mysterious child that has your attention?"

"Tell me about who the child belongs to," Batman demanded. "Why does he have the same genes as I do?" Robin squirmed around in his spot. Oh how he wished to jump out and just explain this whole thing, but that might end things badly.

"Well, he's here," Talia listed. "He's of your blood. He shares both our physical features, yours more than mine. He's our child. Born from a test tube, raised to be the heir of Ra's al Ghul." Some looked at the curtains where they knew Damian was. He was raised to rule as the next al Ghul? What kind of childhood did this boy have?

"Robin. Damian." Talia ordered. The two said boys stepped out of this hiding spot, standing by her.

"Robin," Batman nodded.

"How do you know my name?" Robin inquired. "Pretty sure I've never met you before." Batman sighed.

"Drop the charade," he ordered. "You've done this so many times that I can tell it's fake." Robin pouted, sad to see his performance end just like that. He glanced over to Artemis, who was fuming, and Kid Flash who looked shocked and disappointed.

"Dude," Robin chuckled. "it was so obvious you had that drug induced amnesia idea again. I had to do it." Kid Flash shook his head dejectedly. He should've known. His best friend always likes to be over dramatic.

"So, anyway," Robin stretched nonchalantly, "this is Damian. Play nice Bats." Batman ignored Robin, staring at his biological son. To an outsider's eyes, he looked slightly intimidating and angry tho. Damian shook that off.

"Don't look so shocked father," Damian placed one hand on his hip and the other one down. "I thought you'll be much taller." Robin sighed. He kinda hoped it was more heartwarming, but he guess this will be the best it'll get.

"I made a promise to this young one here," Talia sighed. "Here's my proposal. I let Damian live with you for a set amount of time, at most 3 months, training with the great Batman. Train him into an excellent fighter, then I shall retrieve him. During this time, you may bond with our son." Batman debated on whether it was a good deal. He knew he should take Damian away from the killing influences. He didn't want his son to become a killer.

"Very well," Batman agreed. "I will take him with me." Robin nudged Damian with a grin. Damian waved him off, but inside he was happy too. He was finally able to bond with his father.

"You have your bag right?" Talia asked. Damian nodded, pointing to his bag sitting on the floor. Robin grinned. He helped Damian pack his clothes. He also made sure to add a few ... colorful attires in there. He can't wait to see Damian's surprise at his little gifts.

"Wipe that grin off your face," Damian scowled. "Why are you even grinning?" Robin shook his head, ignoring the question. Couldn't let the cat out of the bag. He went over to his friends and siblings and untied them. He did manage to slip out of their grasp when they lunged to kill him.

"Let's go," Batman order, his cape flying. The others started following him out. Robin quickly skipped over to Talia and gave her a hug.

"Thanks Talia," Robin said softly. "This means a lot to me, and probably Bruce too." Talia returned the hug lightly.

"Promise you'll look after Damian like you have been," Talia asked, giving a genuine parental concern expression. "I know he'll have a hard time interacting with the kids and Bruce." Robin nodded, winking.

"He'll be in good hands," he assured her. "Now gotta go before they get suspicious. Bye Mother!" He emphasized the other in a familiar teasing tone. Talia shook her head, amused. Over the past time Robin had visited and hung out with her son, she did see him as some sort of a son figure. Robin could say the same about how Talia kinda became a mother-like figure, along with some other females that Batman interacted with of course.

He walked out the door, where Damian stood there waiting for him. Damian wasn't ready to be in a room alone with his father yet. Putting an arm around Damian's shoulders, Robin led them into the huge bat plane Batman made. It was created for many people, and it actually contained the bioship inside at the moment.

"Are you okay?" Miss Martian asked, checking him out for his wounds. "Your abdomen-"

"Is fine," Robin interrupted, noticing some curious looks from people. "I guess it's time for some question and answers huh?" He sighed. This was gonna be a long ride home.

Ahaha... so how was it? Hopefully it was good. If there's any mistakes, I'll fix it later. I just want to post this right now. So I just want to say to you guys...

THANK YOU SO MUCH! We've basically doubled the about of views, votes, and stuff (14 K views and 655 votes). I'm so happy! I'll let that be my birthday present from you guys (my birthday was on Christmas Eve).

Bad news is that the likely update for the next chapter is probably during the summer unless I actually find time to do it during second semester. However, school is super important, and last semester didn't end the way I wanted it to. I want to do better, but that means more focus (which I don't have) and motivation to actually learn (which I don't have either). I wish I have more free time, but I'm taking 5 AP classes, so that's not gonna happen. (ACT is coming up too darn.) Honestly, I prefer to watch anime, tv shows, k-dramas, draw, and play games that learn right now. I have NO motivation to do anything in life. -_- Are any of you guys the same? (Sorry for complaining about this to you guys. My reasons for not updating seems like excuses....)

Are any of you guys into anime? Honestly, I'm a total weeb/otaku (I don't trust some of my friends to identify which one I am). ... I just realized that I'm rambling on and don't remember what exactly I wanted to say. Idk (follow my drawing account plz (>人<) which is still sparkle9510). Right now rewatching Kuroko no Basket: Saikou no Present Desu since the GoM are all together and it gives me the feels that they're playing together. <3

I'll end this for now, since I still want to post this before 2016 ends. Have fun everyone! It's the end of 2016 and the start of a new year of drama! Love you guys! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ ✧゚・: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)
