my feet lightly landed on the window  frame of Jon's , he looked like he had just finished coming out through his door leading to his room. His feet were focused on the ground he was walking on so i had decided to break the trans. "Hey pal" Saying that quietly and smoothly made him jump out of his socks which caused me to chuckle.

"Damian! um- what" He stretched out his arms and yawned, well assuming that its 11 pm is possibly the reason why "Nothing, I just wanted to see you, pal. Partner in crime" He shot me another look that was saying I know you want something , spill which was true I did come here for reason, he is my best friend.

"I fight evil, you fight evil. Well lets say I ran away from my father-" before i could finish he narrowed his eyebrows and started to mutter and hasistate. "What- what do you mean-" I placed up my hand and let out a smirk "Can I finish?" Jon breathed in and nodded his head in my response.

"Okay, so look I need someone to help with bringing down this group of bandits, and it would be helpful if someone joined me that could shoot lasers out of their eyeballs," He still had the same expression he had to begin with.

"No." He had no emotion what so ever saying no, like come on man you should feel honored, im robin. I crossed my arms and had he then i shot a unpleasing glare "Fine, I'll ask Bill Batson" His reaction was priceless. "So you are replacing me?" He chuckled a bit to hide the facts that he's jealous. Jon never liked the idea of us hanging out, he says im just not suitable for him.

"Okay im coming, only so you dont do anything stupid enough that could get you killed"He put up his finger and poked at my chest then he grabbed his super suite and got changed quickly in the corner of his room. I looked away sadly for most of it so dont think anything weird.

noticing he was done getting changed I jumped off the window cell and brought out my grappling hook to fly me building to building while Jon just started to fly, I remember when i could fly didn't last long but it felt amazing.

Jon was trailing behind me, he was basing the location from where i was moving cause i never told him where. Once we got to the location which looked like a run down green house in the middle of a field. we both landed on gently without making any noise.

"So this is it? a green house?" Jon was making sarcastic jokes while my eyes were intensely staring at the scene down below. Something didn't seem right at all, I then realized that the people with the drugs were wearing clown makeup. "Oh crap!" I whispered loudly while Jon gave me a confused look. I assumed he was asking me whats wrong through his body motion. "Pretty sure this is the jokers gang.. But where is he-" I was cut off by a woman walking in who seemed rather pissed, I recognized her as Ivy..

"What does Ivy have to do with the joker?" Jon still seemed confused, I then nudged him in the shoulder "Damn, your the one with the super sight, you should have trouble seeing this" While i was telling him this he was trying to focus on the scene.

"Okay I see it.. guessing she escaped Arkham?" I nodded in his response. "Well what are we waiting for! Lets go get some bad guys and make our fathers proud" I then stopped him from breaking in through putting my hand in his way. "No, trust me I would be down to do this but we have no idea what is happening and I need your super hearing to hear it and find out whats going on" I smiled sarcastically while he rolled his eyes and walked backwards into his position "Okay, Okay" He was looking at the scene with full intentions towards it.

he was moving his lips while making out the words. He seemed so lost to this conversation they are having, but by that I could tell its something good but scary. superboy was nodding his head as if he was sherlock holmes, I personally think he just enjoys the fact that hes useful. "So apparently her and the Joker had a fight over Dr.Quinzel, then the Joker got some payback by burning down one of her green houses, but then Ivy plans on taking over every gang member and go at war with the Joker.." He looked as if he was gonna continue speaking of the story but hesitated.

"- All that for one girl, they must really like her.." Jon said it as if something was missing towards the puzzle "I cant relate" I chuckled out a bit due to the fact someone actually liking the maniac, I mean come on, there are a lot of psychopaths these days and they had to choose her?

"Me either but thats not the point, there has to be more to the storyline, I feel like we are missing the plot, you know what" He stood up still keeping his eyes intact to the place he was looking "We should just call it quites, this isn't our job to handle and we have no idea whats happening. Tell batman he will deal with it" Jon stated turning his head towards me with a serious look which caused me to laugh a bit, like come on Jon being serious?! what is this medieval times?

"Look pal, you can either leave and be a wimp or you can join me, pfft call batman.. man thats funny" I laughed wiping a tear away. Jon rolled his eyes and crossed his hands over his chest and sighed. "We are talking about thousands of people possibly getting injured or even worse, instead of passing the mission to two thirteen year olds I think we should give it too a responsible man who is way out of out league" He smiled trying to prove a point towards me but hes always been wrong .

"You wanna give the job to a thirty two year old man who cosplays in a batsuit? Ha. Look kid you can either leave and make me work alone or you can join me while we face deadly but amazing journeys!" I was looking towards the greenhouse while saying my sentence.  "Don't call me kid you're only two months older,-"

he was cut off by yelling from the greenhouse we both lost eye contact immediately and then realized there was no backing out of this mission cause what we heard in that greenhouse was not supposed to be heard. Gun shots started to blare our way as we dodged every one Ivy and her gang had noticed us and they were not gonna let us leave with our lives.

I hope you liked the first chapter, it was kinda just gonna explain what the next few chapters will be about.
