𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 — emma is like soft sunlight. she's not the most exuberant person around, but she still radiants kindness and happiness. she's wise and kindhearted and always knows how to give the best advice to her friends — people whom she is intensely loyal to. she tries her best to make sure everyone gets along, becoming extremely versatile in order to do so. nature means a lot to her. not only does it make her generally happy, but whenever she needs to recharge or her life becomes too hectic, she has to escape and go out into nature in order to recuperate. and, considering how much other people's opinions of her mean to her ( she lives for other people's approval ), that becomes quite often. she had to travel with a plant or some dirt or something in order to maintain sanity. she's not very confrontational and handles conflict very badly ( one of the reasons why she's so adamant to keep the peace ), which can lead people to stay away from her as well. overall, she's easy-going and relaxed — aimed to keep everyone happy.

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 — adopted by and raised with two moms and her adopted older sister, emma had a joyous childhood in atlanta. most of the people in her community were fairly accepting of her moms and those who weren't kept to themselves. tara and margaret aimed to culture their girls as much as possible before sending them out into the world, even though they had limited economic resources — that's how emma found fencing. in a book about medieval scotland, she learned about the knights of old. armed with a cardboard sword, a floofy aurora dress and two amused moms, she aimed to become the best knight in the world. soon, her parents enrolled her in fencing classes and one thing turned into the next and she became the world champion in fencing — headed to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
