Baris POV
"Leon, it's starting to get weird and don't you dare try to say this is a coincidence because you know good and well that it ain't" Willow exclaimed in frustration.

Her ex boyfriend tried to move in and touch her.

But I stood in front of her with a stern look on my face as a way to warn him.

Leon slightly backed up with surrendered arms and the look in his eyes switched from apologetic to anger.

"I can't believe you still fucking this white dude. Jaylen told me y'all broke up, that lil nigga lied to me." He said in a distasteful tone.

"If you don't have anything to say, we'll be talking our leave. Come on, let's go" She grabbed my arm to lead us out but not before the bastard opened his mouth again.

"This how you let her talk to you? Treating you like her lil bitch?" Leon asked directing the question to me.

My fist tightened at the sudden urge to bust his face in.

Willow must have noticed and immediately placed her hand on my chest.

"Ignore him, Baris he only wants a reaction from you don't let him get to you." Willow's soft voice was enough to calm me down but I was still angry nonetheless.

Glaring at the smug bastard once more, I grasp Willow's hand and led us out of the Café to my car parked across the street.

"How do you feel?" She softly asked after buckling the seat belt across her upper half.

"I'm fine, angel" I held her right hand lifting it up to my lips giving it a kiss.

"I'm very glad to hear that" And there it was, that gorgeous smile of hers was enough to knock me off my feet.

Suddenly her phone starts to ring, removing her hand from mine.

Willow, professionally answered as I watched her listen to the person on the other end of the call.

I got curious when a frown settled on her face when she politely responded to the receiver.

After hanging up, Willow lets out a string of cuss words. Probably at the person she was just speaking with on the phone.

"Angel, what happened?" I asked getting worried.

"This was supposed to be my day off! I swear that fucking bitch is out to get me." No wonder, she's furious.

"Baris, I'm sorry but we're going to have to reschedule. Apparently my supervisor needs me at the hospital in 30 mins." I wasn't angry or anything, just disappointed because I really wanted to spend the day with her.

Willow knows that she doesn't have to work and I can take care of her.

I have to understand that she's a very independent person.

"You want me to drive you home?" My angel eagerly nods her head with a sad look still on her face.

"Yes please" Putting the car into ignition, I drove off into the main road.

10 minutes later, we arrived at the familiar street.

"I promise to make it up to you." She quickly said before kissing my lips and exiting the car.

I watched her run into the apartment complex from the rolled down window of my vehicle.

After quitting my job as a college professor and focusing on the family's business 4 years ago.

I barely have time for myself because I was working so damn much to avoid going bankrupt.

Today, I purposely had my secretary cancel every single appointment and meeting so I would spend time with my woman.

Now that she's being called into work. I don't know what to do besides going back home or to Seline's house.

I'm kind of missing my nephews. I decided to take a detour to Walmart because I never go to my sister's home empty handed.

Arriving at Green Acres mall, I parked my car into an empty spot closest to the entrance of the store.

Getting out of the vehicle, I put on my shades due to the beaming sun.

Finding an empty cart, I made my way into the cool establishment.

Strolling to kids toys section, I saw the perfect gift for my nephews.

I just know the the twins are gonna love this.

Calling over a worker, I asked them to help me take the mini Ford Jeep from Power Wheels to my car after purchasing it.

Seline is definitely going to complain once I reach their home.

Since, Seline and Murat live in Valley Stream it only took me 8 minutes to get to their house.

Pressing the door bell, I waited for someone to respond.

"You spoil them too much, Baris" I knew she was gonna say that as soon as that door opened.

I smiled, kissing her cheek as I walked into the house.

"Where are my nephews?" I asked while setting the huge box near the staircase.

"Murat is picking them up from school today." She said while pouring me a glass of water then handing it to me.

"So, where are you coming from?" There she goes investigating me as usual.

"Krista, told me that you decided to take a day off today. Why is that?" My secretary still acts like she's working for Seline.

Always exposing my business, one of these days I'll fire her.

Then again, she's really good at her job so I can't.

"You're dating her again aren't you?" I nodded with a smile forming on my face.

Baris, why her? There are so many wonderful and beautiful Turkish women, so why does it have to be this girl?" Immediately frowning at Seline's words I felt myself getting angry.

"Look at me and Murat. We don't have any problems because we come from the same place. You and that girl won't work because she's still young and probably isn't ready for marriage. Then you have the cultural difference which will probably bring conflict, you guys won't work. Just give up and I'll set you up with one of my friends." The way she spoke really irritated me to the core.

"Seline, what kind of shitty mentality is that? Are you even hearing yourself right now? And what day and age is this again?" I didn't mean to speak to my sister this way but I'm sick of her over analyzing every fucking decision I make or anything I do.

This is my life not hers. Seline has lived hers, it's my turn to live mine.

If me and Willow getting back together is a mistake or a disaster waiting to happen then so be it.

Willow is my future, without her I'm nothing, simply a worthless shell of a man.

"If you are going to insult me like this, you need to leave" Seline said pointing to the front door.

"I'll come back once you're done being angry over a conversation that you started" I told her with a nonchalant shrug.

Sitting up, I drank the rest of the cold water and exited through the door and into my car parked on the driveway.

I just wish my sister would just stop trying to dictate my life.

Sighing tiredly, I decided to head on home.
