Willow's POV
Mmm, Graduation. The day I've been waiting for since I became a Freshman.

Finally, I get my associate degree but there's just one tiny problem okay I lied a big problem.

I'm moving to the UK to live with my Aunt and I haven't told Baris.

Oh, he's gonna be so disappointed and heartbroken.

I don't know how to tell him that I only have 2 weeks left before I leave.

Last week, I introduced Baris to the family.

It had to be one of the scariest experience of my life.

My parents were excited because I have never bought anyone home as my boyfriend not even Leon our next door neighbor.

They only saw that asshole as a older brother to Jaylen.

No one knew we were dating because Leon wanted to keep our relationship a secret.

When my parents formally met Baris, the disappointment on their faces told me everything I needed to know.

My dad was probably shocked by how much older he was than me.

While my mother always wanted me to be with an educated Black man but I ended bringing home a "colonizer" her words not mine when she pulled me into the kitchen for questioning.

I think Baris noticed the hostility but this man did not fail to charm his way into their hearts.

My parents asked a lot of questions especially my mother but she chilled with her constant interrogation after he said get thoroughly enjoyed her cooking.

My mum purposely made only Nigerian dishes because she wanted to test him.

But he seems to have passed. Whereas my dad asked questions like where did we meet? And how Baris and I relationship came to be.

My heart was beating out of my chest when Baris told them the truth that he's a professor at my school but didn't disclose the information of him being my professor.

My dad was a bit apprehensive but he didn't say much after. For that I was thankful.

Now, I'm getting ready for the ceremony, I put on a off the shoulders, knee length, skin tight dress.

While I got dressed, I kept making scenarios on how to tell Baris about me relocating to the UK.

I feel like a bad person for not saying anything about it.

Time Skip...

When we got back home I had a big surprise waiting for me.

My parents planned a graduation party for me.

I was approached by family friends and my neighbors with congratulations gifts.

"Jaylen, please help me take them to my room." I begged my younger brother who glared at me.

"You're lucky I like you" He said before grumbling incoherent words as he complied to my request.

I felt a tap on my shoulders, turning around my mom held a cheeky smile on her face.

"Baris is waiting for you out front" She whispers in my ear due to the loud music playing in the background.

A big grin overtook my features as I ran to the front of the house.

Baris stood in a crisp light suit with a white shirt and brown leather shoes.

He looks so yummy, I wanted to eat him.

'Eww, that sounded like someone a cannibal would say'  I shook my head at the thought.

Opening the gate, I walked closer to him once I was at arms length he pulled me to him.

Causing me to sharply gasp, I looked up at him to see that charming smile of his.

"Hi" I managed to squeak out.

Baris chuckled at my obvious shyness.
"Congratulations angel, I'm very proud of you" He said while pulling something from behind him.

My eyes bugged out when I saw a bouquet of roses.

No theses isn't a normal bouquet this had $100 wrapped around each flower.

"Thank you so much" I told him as he handed me the heavy bouquet.

"Anything for you, darling." I smiled down then the guilty feeling came back.

"Baris, I have to tell you something but I know you won't like it" Immediately his happy expression turned into a serious one.

I gulped and told him everything about me wanting to leave for the UK because there was a good job opportunity my aunty had opened for me in her dental clinic.

She needed more Dental Hygienists and I happen to own a license and degree.

After I confessed everything, Baris looked beyond furious.

I saw the conflict in his eyes as he tried to mask up his displeasure but it scared me what his reply could be.

"Baby, come away with me and let me convince you to stay. I don't want you to leave me after I just got you. Please say yes" I gingerly nodded my head.

Baris tilted my head and kissed me senselessly, tongue and the roaming of his hands all over my body.

I pulled away with a dazed too in my eyes staring up at the beautiful man I call mine then whispered "I want you" against his lips.

His eyes widened in utter shock.
"Are you sure?" He asked quickly.

I mumbled a bashful yes under my breath.

"Now, I need you to go pack a small bag for the week and say your goodbyes to your parents. I'll be waiting by the car." I pecked his lips before running off into the house.

My excitement was through the roof right now.

A little baecation with my boyfriend, what could go wrong?

                       Baris POV
As I waited on Willow it at the front of her parents house, watching family friends and a few neighbors party away celebrating my angel's graduation.

I smiled to myself, thinking of what I had in store for us once we reached LA.

She's not leaving me, I understand that I begged her to give me a week to change her mind about moving to another country .

But believe me when I say she's not leaving because I won't let her.

I have a mansion in Malibu, it belonged to my parents.

Sometimes, I forget that I'm the CEO of a multi-billionaire dollar company due to me living a double life for the past 3 1/2 years.

I wanted to take a break from the constant stress from my running such a big business that I let my sister hold the fort while I lived my life.

A bit selfish of me to make her the COO and my therapist at the same time.

But I don't think she minded, that's why I love my sister.

From a distance, I heard footsteps approaching me.

I expected Willow but a younger guy stood in front of me with an furious look on his face.

He looked to be around my height, with a lighter complexion than my angel, and he's very good looking I will admit.

"So, I finally get to meet the dude that stole my girlfriend." He snarled at me.

I smirked at him as I folded my arms.
"Oh, you must be Leon the ex" I said announcing that I already knew who he was.

"She told you?" I shrugged.

"She tells me everything" That's was partially a lie because I literally just found out about her wanting to leave me for a new life in the UK.

"Leon, what are you doing here?" Willow's soft yet confused voice asked from behind.

"I-I uhh, I was just getting to know your boyfriend" He said the last part like he had eaten something bitter.

"Why? Because I don't recall us being friends or closer enough to be knowing each other's significant others" Ouch. I almost felt bad for the guy because my angel's tone was cold.

"Please just go away, we have somewhere to be." Leon's eyes landed on the suitcase and duffel bag in her hands.

"Where are you going and do your parents know?" He asked her angrily.

"Why can't you just mind your fucking business. I don't need to tell you shit! Baris let's go." She walked up to the car trunk and dumped her things in then entered the passenger side.

I stared at the Leon who looked completely dumbfounded.

I patted his shoulder before entering the vehicle.
