I think I've succeeded in making my husband change for the better. He doesn't cheat anymore; he only loves me. He only wants me.

As I made both our coffees, he watched the television screen. He smiled when I sat next to him and handed him the coffee, something he's never done before. He took a sip of my coffee and turns to face me.

"I have something to tell you." And then he tells me. "Madelaine, I love you. I love you so much."

The world collapses under my feet as I hear words he only said twice before. How dare he say those three words at such a time? How dare he say such a thing at such an unexpected time?

But I definitely didn't resist.

"I love you too." I smile once more.

As we both stare at each other, a small thought builds up in my head.
