>>Pool<<
(A/n): This chapter is a bit longer than my usual chapters.
Its not very long, I just wanted to warn you. The usual chapters in this story are 600-700 words, this chapter is a little bit over 1'200 words.
Ethan was woken that night by the feeling of Kayden's presence missing.
He didn't see him in the room anywhere when he looked around.
He sighed deeply.
It seemed as if this one night dragged on and on and he just couldn't get to the morning.
He scooted out of bed and saw that the key card was missing.
Kayden's shoes were still by the door so he figured that he couldnt have gone far.
When he opened the door his suspicions were confirmed that Kayden was only standing right outside of the room starring up at the sky.
Ethan walked up behind Kayden, careful not to scare him.
"Whats wrong?" He gently asked.
"....nothing...I just...don't feel right guess." Kayden replied.
Ethan just nodded.
They both stood there and watched the stars. Now that Kayden mentions it, Ethan was feeling a little strange.
He glanced over at something that caught his eye.
He tapped Kayden's shoulder.
Kayden looked over at him questioningly.
"I know what will make you feel better." Ethan told him.
"What?"
Ethan grabbed Kayden's hand and led him to where he was reffering to.
He stopped them in front of a metal chain fence that was locked.
"A nice relaxing dip in a pool!" Ethan gestured to what was on the other side of the chain fence with jazz hands.
Kayden smiled a little at his hyung.
"The sign says that the pool is closed after 7:00pm." He pointed to a small sign on the gate entrance.
"Nobody has to know we're out here, its dark and everyone should be asleep anyway." Ethan urged.
"The gate is locked though." Replied the younger.
Ethan made a funny face as he stood there thinking for a few seconds.
Next thing you know he's halfway up the fence after one high jump,
then he climbs the rest of the way up.
He sits at the top of the fence and stares down at his dongsaeng.
"You coming or what?" He chuckled.
Kayden rolled his eyes and smiled.
Ethan knew for a fact that Kayden couldnt pass off an opportunity to cause some mischief or break some rules.
He started climbing when Ethan jumped down to the other side of the fence.
When Kayden got to the other side he was suprised to see Ethan in the middle of taking off his pants.
"HOLYFUCKWHATAREYOUDOING?!" The younger covered his eyes.
"Jesus breathe between words boi.
You think im gonna swim with my clothes on?" Ethan laughed.
Kayden felt his face heat up.
"You know....I think I'll pass on this, we should be getting to sleep anyway." He turned around.
"Too late, someones coming!" Ethan exclaimed. "Quick hide underwater!"
Kayden watched as Ethan quickly stripped off the rest of his clothes and hid them behind a chair.
He expertly lowered himself into the water so he didn't make too much noise.
Kayden panicked a little when he saw a person looking around outside with a police oficer.
"My god what have I gotten myself into?" He mumbled as he started talking off his clothes.
He quickly hid his clothes with Ethans and shyly got into the water.
The two people looking around shined their light towards the dark pool.
Ethan quickly and suddenly popped his head out of the water and covered Kayden's mouth with his hand.
Kayden starred at Ethan with wide eyes as Ethan put a finger to his mouth with his free hand silently shushing him.
Ethan slowly moved his hand away from Kayden's mouth and listened for the two people, waiting for them to go away.
When he heard their footsteps get quiet he peeked out of the pool to see they were gone.
He glanced over at Kayden who was kind of just there awkwardly not knowing what to do.
Ethan laughed a little.
"Now what's wrong." He asked as he turned to face the boy.
Kayden gulps loudly not knowing how to reply.
"What? Never been skinny dipping?" Ethan teased.
He laughed more at how Kayden's face became as red as a tomato after he said that.
"Don't worry. Neither have i."
Kayden angrily splashed the older and pouted at how he embarrased him.
Ethan laughed and splashed back causing Kayden to finally smile.
The two then got caught in a splash fight.
*****
In the morning Ethan woke to the sound of his phone ringing.
He turned his head to the side to see Kayden fast asleep next to him,
he smiled at the thought of how his idea of swiming last night worked in getting Kayden to feel better.
He sat up feeling a bit chilled.
He had almost forgotten when they got back to their room all they did was slip on their boxers and then collapse on the bed together.
He ruffled his now curly hair and picked up his phone.
After checking the name on the collar ID he answered it.
"Hello?"
"Ethan? it's Lim." Said the voice.
"Whats up?" He asked.
"How far do you think you guys are from Seoul?"
Ethan paused and tried to think about it.
"I-i don't honestly think we're very close..." He replied.
"What?! Where are you guys now?!"
"I actually...don't really know."
"Oh my god YOUR LOST?!"
He could hear Yeonwol in the background yelling,
he must be listening as well;
"WAIT WHAT?!
THEYRE FREAKING LOST?!
THOSE KIDS OH MY GOD I KNEW THEY CANT BE TRUSTED BY THEMSELVES!!"
Ethan sighed.
"We're still working on finding a way to get there guys...dont worry.
I'm gonna hang up now, im sorry."
"Okay...goodbye." Lim replied.
••••••
Lim sighed.
He didn't get to tell him what he origonally intended to when he called them.
He glanced over at Yeonwol who had his head in his hands.
"God....we can't loose them...." He mumbled.
"I know-" Lim was cut off my Yeonwol suddendly shooting up and lunging towards him.
Yeonwol grabbed Lim's shoulders roughly and looked him strait in the eyes.
"WE CAN NOT LOOSE THEM."
He shook Lim a little unintentionally.
"DO YOU HEAR ME?!"
Lim only nodded.
It was scary, the look in Yeonwol's eyes...but it was also pitiful.
His big beautiful brown eyes that were usually glowing with joy and fondness, were now red and puffy from crying. His pupils were dark, he's seen so much.
He didnt diserve any of this...
Yeonwol let Lim go and turned around to watch as the police did their work.
"....and this should prove to you that Johun wasn't playing either."
The memory of what just happened literally minutes ago flooded Yeonwol's mind.
He was literally seconds away from risking his own life for his friends after he said that, just like Johun did...
That is, before the police showed up.
There apparently was a hidden cop undercover not to far from where they are, he heard the gunshot and came as quick as he could with backup.
They arrested the scary man who shot Johun. Then they offered to take Johun's body to burry for them.
Namji, Myungdae, and Jaesuk sat on the cerb of the sidewalk.
They had all stopped crying,
but they all looked traumatized.
At this point the only thing on Yeonwol's mind at the moment was Kayden and Ethan.
It was now a priority to find them and get them safely to Seoul.
