Why is everyone so protective of me all of a sudden?! When I first met Gilbert, he probably wouldn't have cared if I was dead.

Even my parents are becoming protective, especially Papa. At first, Gilbert can do no wrong, and now he needs rules about what he is not allowed to do with me.

What is going on?!
