Meeting
Sero had struggled with a lot of things through out his life, he never told a soul what he was feeling or problems that occurred in his life. And for the past few years things had started to loose color, everything seemed to appear more grey. He didn't like it.
He had to work to help pay for his mothers hospital bills because he knew his father wouldn't grow up and help him. He also had to attend college, he was hoping to get the closer one because he couldn't leave her like this. She wanted him to go and be successful but he still couldn't with her in this state, he had to handle this. He had to be there for her.
Sero sat on the porch of his mothers house, he was reading her and his favorite book, even though she had read it to him countless times when he was younger. It was his favorite.
His phone rang, he sat up and grabbed it. It was Mina, he answered. "Yes-"
"Hanta!.. I-I need to see you.." She paused for a minute. "Are you at your house?"
"Yes but-" She had hung up, he pulled the phone away from his face and called her back but no answer. He tried again but still, no answer.
"Hanta!" He was slammed to the floor when she jumped on him, she squeezed him tightly. "M-My boyfriend dumped me." Her voice cracked, her tears soaked into his shirt.
"Mina, I'm sorry. You're way to good for him anyway." He sat up, Mina still crying into his chest. "Mina, It'll be okay. I'm here for you, do you want to talk about it?" Mina nodded and Sero stood up, he bent down and Mina got on his back. "Let's go get ice cream as well?" Sero asked as he started down the street, he gave he a piggyback ride all the way to the store at the corner and they talk about her ex all the way.
-
Mina and Sero had known each other since kindergarten, they actually used to hate each other. They started to hangout more and more after 3rd grade, they don't hangout as much as they used to but even now they still have the deepest connection out of everyone they know.
-
They were sitting on the grass next to the store, Mina's eyes lite up and she yelled. "Denki!" Sero turned around and saw a short boy across the street, he waved and ran across. He stopped next to them. "Hey Mina!" He said as she got up and hugged him, Sero saw Denki was staring at him, he blushed and looked away. "Hi, I'm Kaminari or Denki, you may call me either."
"I'm Sero or Hanta, whatever you prefer." Kaminari smiled and plopped down next to Sero and Mina.
