"Remus, dude, I know I'm a hypocrite for saying this but you really need to calm down. Take a breather," Virgil murmured as he grabbed the panicking Remus' arm and stopped him from continuing their journey through the forest.

"V-Virge.. I-I can't! Romans out here somewhere a-and he's hurt; I can f-feel his pain.." Remus said, his breathing unsteady. His hands flew up to his hair as tears filled his eyes.

"Remus, buddy, focus on me. Focus on my voice. Roman is going to be ok. We will find him and he'll be ok."

Virgil gently pried Remus' hands out of his hair and slowly guiding him down to the forest floor. Remus closed his eyes and followed Virgils breathing instructions, breathing in and out slowly when told to. It took some time but eventually Remus managed to calm down enough to be able to focus enough on his surroundings to hear birds chirping.

"You're doing so good for me, Remus," Virgil said softly, kissing Remus' nose in encouragement. "How do you feel?"

"Better, thanks.. I'm not..- I didn't influence your anxiety, did I..?" The pure concern in Remus' tone and fear in his eyes made Virgils chest tighten.

"A little, but I was doing my breathing exercises so it didn't affect me too badly. It's ok, 'Mus, promise," Virgil murmured. He stood up and offered a hand to help Remus up.

Remus stood up shakily with Virgils help, and closed his eyes as he focused on his brother's energy. His breath hitched as he heard the faint crying of a child. "I think..- I think I know where he is.."

Virgil nodded a little and allowed Remus to lead him deeper into the trees, heading off the path and towards trees freshly marked with a sword to show

"Are you sure we're going the right way? I feel like we're going in circles.." Virgil murmured as he followed Remus through the brush.

"His aura feels odd. Like something had happened.. We're getting close.." Remus replied quietly. He trailed off as they came to a small clearing surrounded by fallen trees.

In the middle of the clearing was a small child in an old prince costume. He looked scared and as if he had been crying for a while.

"Ro..?" Remus called out softly, cautiously moving towards the child.

"I can literally taste his anxiety. That's Roman alright.." Virgil whispered quietly in confirmation. Remus nodded a little to acknowledge he heard Virgil.

The child looked up at the sound of his name and quickly got up. "'Mus..?"

"It's me, Roro.. Did you run into a dragonwitch..?" Remus responded quietly as he lowered himself to the ground so Roman would feel less intimidated.

Roman nodded and pointed up to a tree where the dragonwitch had left claw marks. "Big an' scary!" The younger exclaimed, clinging tightly onto Remus. "You got big, 'Mus.."

"Just a little bit.. Let's get you home, little Ro.." Remus scooped his little brother (pun intended) up in his arms before turning to Virgil. "This is Virgil, he's a friend of ours."

Roman waved to him shyly, curling in his brother's arms. "H-Hi Virge.."

Virgil waved and grabbed the sword and shield off the ground so he can keep them safe until Romans back to normal.

Remus created a door and the three went home.
