District Number:
2
Full Name:
Zoie Rebecca Wright
Nickname:
Becks
Volunteered / Reaped:
Reaped
Age:
17
Gender:
Female
Sexuality:
Bisexual
Faceclaim:
Zendaya
Personality:
She's a playful character with a warm smile and a joyful demeanour. Although she can be serious, she prefers to remain light hearted even in the worst situations, she keeps a positive attitude.
She was a big imagination, and despite having very little time to pursue it, she enjoys writing and story making.
Coming from a richer district and family, she wasn't raised with a strong hate for the hunger games, but also never respected it. She has a strong moral compass and a firm belief of what is right and what is wrong.
She's a determined soul and extremely motivated, prepared to work hard for what she wants, even if it doesn't always work out for her in the end.
She doesn't often care of what others think of her and occasionally an inherent rudeness can be seen in her words, a mild selfish attitude and stubbornness. This obnoxious vibe that she lets slip is a strong reminded of where she's from, despite considering herself to be different from the rest of her family and district, she isn't as different as she thinks she is.
Strengths:
• She's physically surprisingly strong which is why she's well suited to more strength-based weapons such as axes and swords.
• She's well trained from her family, mainly her elder sister and how they would fight together, it offered her experience and she often trained to entertain herself.
• Becks is very swift and agile, able to move very quickly and is light of her feet. She's flexible too, adding to her strength in movement, which majorly helps her defend herself.
Weaknesses:
• She's not great at healing, or self medication of any kind. She struggles with injury, even if she's been taught how to handle it, she's still bound to do a bad job or make matters worse.
• She trusts easily, too easily. It's not hard for people to get close to her and betray her, it's happened many times before and yet she never learns. It may just be her downfall.
• She has a habit of being rude, and often times people don't want to get close to her due to her obnoxious attitude which occasionally slips out. This is likely to lessen her chance of joining a strong group.
• She's not what the people want to see in a district 2 tribute, so it's unlikely that she'll be getting many sponsors.
Family:
Older Sister (Alexandria Wright - 18)
Younger Sister (Trinity Wright - 12)
Her Mother (Mia Wright - 37)
Her Father (Xander Wright - 36)
Backstory:
Becks was the second child to a relatively well off family. They weren't exactly rich, but they never struggled, they lived a comfortable life. Her mother and father married young, and started a family when they were barely adults. Her father was recruited as a Peacekeeper the same year that her elder sister, Alexandria was born. Alexandria was the ideal child, and was given a combination of her parents names. Her mother, who stayed at home to care for Alexandria rather than working, taught many a moral lesson to the toddler. Rules that would stay in their family for years to come. They were taught to respect the Hunger Games, to respect the Capitol, and that if you are reaped, it is a sign that you are ready, that your destiny has been laid out. This idea was their mothers, as a child, she longed for the glory that the victors got, and as a child she was reaped, only for an older girl to volunteer in her place. Unlike what you may believe, she was not bitter, she said it was the universes way of telling her she wasn't ready.
So her children were told never to volunteer, no matter how much they want to, if it's truly your destiny, nobody else will volunteer and you will be chosen.
Alexandria was just like her mother, desperate for glory but unwilling to chance it when she had the chance. When Becks was born, she was adored by her family, and despite it all, they were very loving. Although Becks never really understood the female role models in her life, she wouldn't go out of her way to quarrel with them. She could only pray she was never reaped, the games terrified her, and the whole idea seemed monstrous.
Her sister was her best friend, they loved a good life, and although they didn't always see eye to eye, Becks values their friendship more than anything in the world.
This year, her younger sister will old enough to be part of the reapings, a day their mother has prayed for. The chance for all 3 of her children to be warriors. She may just get what she wants.

Full Name:
Bella Brittany Westwood
Volunteered / Reaped:
Volunteered
Age:
17
Gender:
Female
Sexuality:
Lesbian
Faceclaim:
Hailee Steinfeld
Personality:
She's competitive. That's the best word for it, her whole life she's been struggling, desperate to prove herself and now she finally has the chance. She's not going to let anything get in her way.
Besides her unstoppable urge to prove herself, which often hides her other, more desirable traits, she's quite a kind person. She isn't inherently violent, but has learnt that's the best way to get what she needs. She's a good natured person, who has been misguided, she has morals, but learnt to repress them. She was once selfless but learnt the only way to gain her families respect was by putting other people down, and putting herself up.
Strengths:
• She's highly trained, knows how to handle most weapons and knows how to win the hunger games. She's prepared.
• She's sociable, something about her is attractive and she makes friends easily, something that's bound to help her when it comes to joining a group.
• She's likeable, the Capitol admires tributes like her and she's likely to get quite a few sponsors in her time in the arena.
Weaknesses:
• She's never gone hungry before. If she runs out of food she's going to struggle and it might just be her downfall.
• Physical strength isn't one of her strong points. In a hand on hand battle it's not very likely that she's going to win.
• She hates killing, the concept of ending another persons life is horrible to her, and the more she kills (even if she doesn't hesitate) the more it tears her up on the inside.
• She's terribly afraid of deep water, something about it frightened her, and although she knows how to swim, unless she can touch the ground she just panics and will most likely drown unless someone else steps in.
Family:
Older Brother (William Westwood) DECEASED
Older Brother (Eric Westwood - 21)
Younger sister (Ariana Jr Westwood - 11)
Mother (Ariana Westwood) DECEASED
Father (Jeremy Westwood- 49)
Backstory:
Born into a family of careers, she was raised with certain beliefs, certain responsibilities. Bella was raised to believe that the Hunger Games offered glory, eternal glory. They were something to strive for, something that was honourable to be part of. Her entire family believed this, and they were trained from the age of 6 by their father. Rather than paying someone to teach them, he did it himself. The eldest of the family was her brother, William. He turned 12 when Bella was only 6 years old, and he was the first child in their family to be part of the hunger games. He volunteered, over confident, he hadn't even hit puberty yet but he was so so sure he was right, that he could win easily. William died in the bloodbath, barely lasting 5 minutes in the games, almost immediately forgotten by everyone. Her mother, devastated and grief ridden, commit suicide only a week after watching her most beloved son die on a tv screen.
The second eldest sibling, Eric, was never part of the hunger games. In fact, after Williams death, he disowned most the family, despite only being 10 at his brother's death. He refused to train, he refused to even watch the games for years, and so their father ignored Eric, and took all his anger out on Bella. But despite it all, this just motivated her further. All she wanted was her father's respect, so show that she would not be like her brothers, that she is not the disappointment that they were. So she waited until she was sure, that she stood chance, and she volunteered. And god knows what she's gonna do now.
Weapon Of Choice:

Full Name:
Thomas Somber
*Nickname:
Tom
Volunteered / Reaped:
Reaped
Age:
13 (almost 14)
Gender:
Male
Sexuality:
Hes not entirely sure
Faceclaim:
Gaten Matarazzo
Personality:
Tom is anxious, jumpy, caring and creative. He's an artist through and through, obsessed with art and drawing and attempting to capture a moment of real life in art. He enjoys just observing and admiring the world and the people around him.
However, he's easily frightened and constantly on edge. He's a huge over-thinker and quite shy. He's rather reserved and struggles to interact with other people, and apologises a lot. He wants to make the people around him happy but is too afraid of making things worse.
He's not very outgoing, but is quite attached to the people he cares about, especially his half sister who is only a few years younger than him, but he feels a huge sense of responsibility for and is very close with. It's given him an experience with maturity and acting like an adult, something he hopes to hold onto when he's in the games.
Strengths:
• He's an artist through and through. He can paint well, specifically landscapes which is bound to help him out when it comes to hiding from other tributes.
• He's a craftsman, and can sew very well, so can probably adapt this skill into stitching up wounds.
• He's cute. It's undeniable. Look at that face. It's adorable. The Capitol likes the cute tributes so this might help him out when it comes to getting sponsors.
Weaknesses:
• He literally has no idea how to fight. He's never held a weapon any larger than a sewing machine... but don't tell him that it's not a weapon. He's gonna have to learn from scratch over the training days, otherwise he's in trouble.
• Doesn't have the will to kill anyone. Even if they deserve it. Even if it was the most terrible person to walk to earth, he couldn't do it. He can't bring himself to harm anyone, even animals. He doesn't have the will power.
• He's not exactly a big asset to teams, so he's unsure how likely it is that someone will want to be in a group with him. If it comes to it, he may just have to survive this independently... though he doesn't have high hopes for winning.
• Easily frightened. He's a jumpy person and tends to freeze up when put in tense situations. When it comes to fight or flight, he's always the latter, and his inability to handle his fear might just get him killed.
Family:
Mother (Olivia Somber - 34)
Step-Father (Gale Scott - 45)
Step-Brother (Gale Scott Jr - 15)
Younger Sister (Abigail Somber - 11)
Backstory:
There isn't much to it really. He was born to his mother and father, but his dad died when he was very young and his mother remarried for the support it offered. He gained an older Brother in the process and they were immediately quite close (despite growing into entirely different people) and when he was still very small his younger sister was born, who he was immediately protective of. As he's grown he's become more and more afraid of the games and what it could do to his family.
He's always been the 'soft' brother, compared to Gale who's 4 years older and very athletic. He's strong, and smart and fit, definitely brings pride to the family, but his parents have definitely done their best to 'love them equally'. Tom has always had a slight bit of guilt in his heart for not being more like Gale, but he can't help that he enjoys who he is much more than who he could be. And his family does too, so he feels absolutely no need to change.
Weapon Of Choice:
Crossbow or Slingshot
Other:
He has colour synesthesia.
