THE PARADE

CHAPTER 2

The day has arrived.
The day that each of you are dressed, and pampered, and presented to the Capitol.

The next set of toys in their twisted game.

Each tribute is given to a team of trained individuals who's main job is to make them... 'beautiful'.
They're scrubbed clean, waxed, plucked, and washed again until they're satisfied.

Once they think you're good enough, you're paraded, quite literally, through a crowd if adoring onlookers.
And no matter how tedious it may seem, these obnoxious faces may just save your life. You need them to like you. You need to appeal to them. You need them to keep you alive... to bring you back home.

So suck it up, get on your chariot, and do whatever it takes to make them love you.

It is quite literally life or death.

Welcome to the Capitol. May the odds be ever in your favour.

Okay, this won't be a super long chapter. It will start with the tributes standing around, probably talking, maybe some last minute additions to their outfits and what not.
Then the actual parade will start, and I'm telling you right now that you need to stand out. If you wanna get ahead, you gotta do something that's gonna shock them. The entire Capitol is watching. Take your chance.

The parade will be fairly long, and I will be keeping the tally I mentioned before for sponsors. I may let you guys know who's doing well and who's not, but don't count on it.

After this, the president will give a speech and your characters will be returned to the tribute centre.
