"Jaehyun, this is unfair!" Sooyoung bawls her eyes out. 

"Sooyoung, do you think this is fair for me? All is fair in love and war. Nothing has been fair for me from the start," Jaehyun expresses his sadness. 

"Jae... just hear me out, will you? I really love you, Jaehyun. I love you as much as you loved her. I really do. Just give me a chance too. She was with you, I was never with you," Sooyoung begs him.

"Exactly, Sooyoung. Exactly. You were never with me, and I don't love you as much as I loved her. That's the point. Why don't you get it?" Jaehyun tries convincing her.

"Just why, Jae?"

"Because you were never her. You and her are different, and I appreciate your efforts, Sooyoung. But please, I don't love you. I really don't. I need time to recover from my loss. Until then, don't contact me, please." Jaehyun respectfully declines her request.
