Sky looks around her. "Welcome Sky." Sky sighs again. The last time she was here the Lady Selena emotionally blackmailed her to go back as a werewolf.

"Lady Selena, just why am I here?" Sky asks as she finds the moon goddess and  makes her way to her.

"I showed you what will happen tomorrow and what you need to do."

"So tomorrow I'll be losing my mates. Great. Is there anything else, Lady Selena or is there more pain that I need to go through?"

"Sky, I wanted to show your mates the results of certain reactions. You weren't actually supposed to see that. You've blended so well that what they see in the vision you also saw."

"And? Am I supposed to change my actions now?" Sky demands of the one that brought her into being.

"No. You must do as you would and not change what you would otherwise do. You would have accepted the vampires and heard their story and you need to do that once more."

"Great, I get to live through that pain for real. You know I also believed that the alphas only accepted me because of their wolves. That vision just reinforced that belief. Should I accept the vampires as you bargained I'll lose my mates, they'll betray me. If that is my fate then I would rather die now."

"I can't permit that just yet, Sky. I gave your mates the vision so they will be able to see what the course of their decision will bring them too. You all woke up before the ending though."

"It doesn't matter. I can't act the same as I would have before I saw what awaits me with them. I just can't. It is already killing me that Wyatt treats me like that, that he betrays me even worse that the fake Wyatt did."

"I will promise you this, Sky. If they follow the script of the vision then I'll bring you home after the babies are born. You will need them to be your heirs. I will make sure that Brandon is taken care of as well."

Sky looks at the goddess in front of her in some alarm. "Define taken care of."

Selena looks at Sky more than a little amused. "I won't kill him Sky. I'll make sure that he is loved and taken care of by those that will help to raise your children. Tandy at the very least will smother him in love along with his sister and cousins."

"Thank you. I'm so tired, Selena, so very tired of thinking that I'm wanted then having it shoved back in my face that I'm really not. I will save your children one last time and accept the vampires that will destroy me, then I'm done."

"What if your mates prove themselves and don't follow the script?"

Sky snorts, "They start out good but in the end it's only their wolves that want to be with me, not their human halves. They have only accepted me because otherwise they would have to keep peace between five lunas and they rarely can tolerate their brothers choices in females.

"Hell, even as their true mate they have a hard time accepting me.

"I think the only reason they didn't try to cheat on me is because I'd kill them and the female they would cheat on me with and it would kill the babies I'm carrying."

"So young to be so cynical Sky."

"I've had reason to be when it comes to love. Especially these males have taught me that."

"They might surprise you Sky. When you wake just do your best to trust them until they show you that they can't be trusted. Promise me that and I will be satisfied."

Sky shakes her head but makes that promise. 

The next thing she knows she wakes up still wrapped in Kacey's arms and with her other mates touching her at least in one place.

Her mates wake up shortly after she does and they all get ready.

As they leave Sky does her best to hide her trepidation but her mates give her reassuring smiles and make sure that they touch whenever they can.

Just like the vision they are stopped before they can go in for breakfast and given the message.

They change direction and head to Kacey's office just like in the vision. The alphas follow the script almost perfectly and Sky's heart already starts to hurt knowing how things will end up.

But once the door shuts behind them they deviate from the script they were shown the night before as first Kacey and then the other kiss her long and deep and get her all hot and bothered before a knock on the door breaks things off with Wyatt.

The knights and her mates can't help stepping in front of Sky just like her dream but her mates are more willing to move once Lady Selena says something.

Sky finds herself following her actions from the vision when it comes to Alexander.

Everything from the dream at that point is the same and it doesn't help her at all.

Sky does her best to not let the tears that are about to drop fall as she finally accepts Alexanders pledge through the blood binding and becoming her knight.

She makes her way to the door with her two new vampire guards when she is stopped by her mates. "Where are you going Sky? Don't you want to help us plan the attack against those that will dare come against us?" Kacey asks confused. He thought for sure that Sky would stay for that.

Sky looks at her mates and knights and says what she believes, "I didn't think I would be wanted in the discussion."

"Sky, if you don't wish to take part that's fine, we would feel better if you stayed behind with the other pregnant females in safety. We just didn't believe that you would wish to do that." Kacey tells her with a bit of confusion. Sky wouldn't have sat back before. She had even fought against the hunters pregnant.

Sky walks slowly back to where they have a map set out. "I didn't think you would want me to be a part of the defenses or want my input."

"You are our mate, of course we want your input. We had no intentions of trying to sideline you from the fight." Ellis tells her with confusion showing on his face at her words.

Wyatt catches her hand and pulls her to him.

Alexander watches all this and says, "My blood can be used for healing. It appears that one of you at least could use some."

Kacey stands up straight, "Are you offering you blood to heal Wyatt?"

Alexander nods his head.

Sky speaks, "I had a potion of healing from Hecate and Lady Selena healed him as much as they could heal him, they said that the rest must happen naturally there is nothing more any one can do to help him."

Alexander smiles, "With all due respect to Lady Hecate and Lady Selena but my healing will be able to finish healing your mate. Wyatt must have been badly injured if a healing potion by Lady Hecate and then further healing by Lady Selena didn't heal him completely."

"If I had found him even five minutes later he would have died. The hunters that had him nearly beat him to death." Sky answers softly.

"Sky," Wyatt says softly, "How did you get a potion of healing from Lady Hecate?"

Sky smiles sadly at him, "I bargained with her."

"Sky, what did you bargain with her for?" Kacey asks more than a little scared. Lady Hecate would demand a great deal for a potion such as that. He had no idea that Sky had done that.

"I gave her some of my blood along with some of my life force." Sky replies softly after getting a little scared. Had she done wrong?

"I don't deserve you," Wyatt whispers that into her ear.

Her other mates look at her with shock as do her knights. It's Alexander that speaks though. "You gave her your life force just by giving her some blood. That's what keeps us vampires alive. If you gave her some of your life force on top of that it was a dearly bought potion indeed. You must love your mate very much to sacrifice so much for him."

"I do." Sky says and looks down unable to stand the looks of all her mates. Her knights understand and start talking about how they are going to place their defenses.

Once they are finished Alexander stops Wyatt from leaving and offers his arm. "Please drink. I believe Sky will be happier having you at your healthiest as soon as possible."

Wyatt not liking to remain in pain accepts the vampire blood and drinks. The pain is intense but as the pain lessens he feels better than he had in memory.

"Thank you, Alexander." Wyatt tells him once he can speak once more.

"You are most welcome. Now I believe than Sky is awaiting you." Wyatt moves off to rejoin his mate and gives her a kiss to show her how much he thanks her for sacrificing herself like that for him.

For Sky's part she is beyond confused by this showing as it was completely different from what she saw the night before.
