The next few days they work on plans in case they are unable to protect Sky. One thing Sky insists on is Wyatt being free to betray her if he wants. She won't allow him to be put on bed rest indefinitely. She needs to know if he will betray her or not. 

As he continues to avoid her whenever he can Sky becomes more and more sure that something is wrong with him but doesn't know what. He won't talk to her and refuses to join them at night. Even the alphas start to wonder what is up with him, but keep their questions to themselves.

Anastasia does help with the interrogation and they find out a lot of useful information through that, but nothing definite about Wyatt. Even the traitor refuses to say anything no matter how much pain he goes through.

Finally Saturday comes around. By then Sky and Brandon have become pretty well acquainted with each other. Brandon is practically dancing around in his excitement to be going on a date with his father and Sky.

They pass a pleasant day together at a park.

As it starts to get late they go back to the pack house. Leroy ends up carrying his nearly asleep son. "Thank you, Sky this day has meant the world to him." Leroy tells her giving her a warm smile.

"It was my pleasure. Brandon is a great kid, you should be proud of him." Sky replies smiling warmly first at Leroy then softly at the sleeping child in his arms.

"I am. Once we get inside shower and get dressed in comfortable clothes, we'll have a late picnic at a little clearing that I like to go to, to relax." Leroy tells her before entering the building.

"Sounds good," Sky says smiling at her mate. They separate going to their rooms to get ready for their late date.

Sky has a feeling that the enemy will be trying once again soon and likely that very night.

"My queen?" Henry says as she gets ready.

"It will be soon Henry, I feel it. Are you ready?" Sky says dressing in clean clothes.

"Yes, my queen. Hmm, I think a king snake would go well with that outfit. If you would permit me?" Henry asks and at Sky's permission changes and he slithers onto her arm and up around her neck.

Sky had by now gotten used to the feeling of having the snake slither all over her. He only ever uses non lethal forms so he won't ever accidently bite her and kill her although he has assured her that he couldn't even if he tried. His vow would keep him from doing so. Sky is still happier that he couldn't bite her even by accident.

After a lovely interval with Leroy the perimeter alarms once more go off. Once more they are far too close to where the two leaders are. "There are more traitors," Sky mutters bitterly.

"We knew there would be, Sky. They will keep this up until they accomplish what they desire."

"You mean until they capture me?" Sky says darkly.

"Sky, we don't want you hurt, you know that. Until we find the traitors..."

"You want me to be taken, I know."

"We don't want you taken, but I don't think we'll be able to stop them." Leroy tells her bitter himself. The last thing they want is for her to ever think they don't want her. They still aren't sure how they will be able to communicate with her and reassure her while still making it look like they don't miss her at all. The thought makes him sick. Makes them all sick. They all know that she still doesn't fully trust them or believe that they love her.

"I love you Sky, more than I can possibly say." Leroy tells her before stripping to join the fight he hears not far away.

Sky sighs, "I know. I know you and the others say you do and you've all done your best to prove that you do want to be with me, even the twins rather than their wolves, have spent time with me. I just don't know if you will actually miss me."

"Sky-" Before he can say anything else a wolf comes running over to him and knocks him down. 

Sky doesn't take any more time and turns to her wolf. She growls viciously and attacks the one that took down Leroy. This gets the wolf's attention and he turns to face her allowing Leroy time to get up and shake off the affects of his head hitting the ground pretty hard.

Shortly after that more wolves come up and start fighting. Her knights come out of hiding and start fighting as well.

Just as it looks like they will be able to ward off the attack once more Sky feels something heavy hit the back of her head and that's the last thing she remembers.

She wakes up with a splitting headache and so she groans as she opens her eyes or at least tries to.

"Careful my queen. You were hit pretty hard. I guess he didn't want any chances of you waking up before you got here and got chained up." Henry tells her and holds her down.

"Henry, what the hell happened?" Sky groans and she accepts the help Henry gives her to sitting up.

"The bastard Wyatt managed to get behind you in the fight. He knocked you out and personally handed you to a smaller group of wolves waiting in the forest. 

"I've already removed the chains they placed on you." Henry helps her to sit up with the help of a wall. "Anastasia should be here shortly. I'm sure that she'll make sure that you feel better once she gets here.

"I wasn't able to find a light source so haven't been able to do much reconnaissance out of the cell. I'm sorry my queen."

"No worries, Henry, I'm sure that they'll come down here to check on me sooner or later. They'll have some form of light at that time."

"I can turn to my snake form and slither around a bit. I might be able to find a way out that way?"

"If you wish. How long have I been here?"

"Not sure. I would guess about an hour or so, but it's hard to keep track of time in the dark." Henry answers before starting to turn to one of his smaller snake versions. Perhaps it's small but it is also very deadly and can easily kill a full grown man or wolf within half an hour.

As a snake he is far more sensitive to changes in air flow and makes his way to where he determined the door to be earlier.

He is thrilled to find that he will be able to slither under the door. Perhaps he should have done this before, but he couldn't leave his queen before she woke up.

He detects a warm body not too far from the cell and finds a dim light not too far away from that man. It is enough for him to tell that it is one of the enemies.

It doesn't take Henry long to bite the man. The man yells but the sound is lost to the sound of fighting coming from up the stairs.

Henry turns back to his human form and hides in the shadows. He takes the weapons from the hunter before he does. He waits to see if more of the enemy comes down to see what was going on. Instead he sighs in relief as he sees Anastasia poke her head down with one of her witch lights in her hand.

"You took a chance coming down like that." Henry says stepping into the dim light.

"Not really. This little light can turn into a fireball even as it moves towards it's target." Anastasia says and her mate comes down the stairs at her side. "Besides Clay would take care of any problems if you hadn't.

"How is Luna Sky?" Anastasia asks coming to stand at his side.

"In pain, not just physical either."

"Nothing I can do about the betrayal, but I can help her with the physical pain." Anastasi says as she waits for Henry to open the door.

The ball of light takes off and grows bigger as they enter the room. By the time it makes it to the ceiling all the people are able to see just fine.

"Sky," Anastasia says in horror. None of them had seen Sky cry before.

Anastasia all but runs to Sky's side and starts her healing. Then she pulls Sky into her arms.

Once Sky calms down a bit she reports. "The fighting is almost over. Once it is, then Clay will start hacking into their security and that at the pack house. Then we'll start making plans on which compound to attack. When you are ready we'll start the attacks." 

Sky nods at Anastasia's words but before she can actually say anything there are two new people in the room.

"Sky, before any thing else you need to know that the one that betrayed you wasn't Wyatt." One of the new comers tells her.

"My lady Selena, what do you mean it wasn't Wyatt, I saw him myself." Henry says even as he bows to her.

Selena smiles at the snake shifter. "King Henry, I am well pleased with you and your fellow knights. You all have done excellent jobs, thank you. Not everything you see is as it seems. Wyatt wasn't rescued at the time Leroy was. Wyatt was taken to another location and an imposter was planted in his place with an enchantment placed on him to look like Wyatt. It was the imposter that took you down, not Wyatt. He still remains in enemy hands in another compound."

Sky raises her head at this her nostrils flared in anger. They can all feel her anger and look at her uneasily. "How do I get to him?" Sky has every intention of getting him out of there as soon as possible.

"You'll know which compound when you look at the maps. Now we can't directly interfere but you needed to know that information. Also, my brother has gone too far. The creator has taken a hand and removed his powers from him and given us permission to deal with his children."

"I don't understand," Sky says confused. She's trying very hard to follow what Selena is telling her.

"My," Selena looks to her side, "our brother has crossed the line. His children, the hunters were to just go after our children if we break the laws. Instead, because of his jealousy he started a vendetta against our children. The Creator was less than amused by this and has removed my brother's powers. He has seen how fucked up my brother has made his children and so has given us permission to do as we see fit to protect ourselves. He would appreciate it if you didn't kill them all though."

Hecate snorts at this and mumbles something under her breath. "Sky, you know what to do and if there are any worth saving."
