As they finish their evening and are about to return to the pack house the alarm the witches set up goes off. They are less than a mile from it and so they both move towards the alarm.

Suddenly they are surrounded by enemy wolves. Sky fights hard and so do her knights and Ellis. As their pack members come up they are taking down the last of the wolves.

She heard someone come up behind her and twists around to the new threat. She gives a low warning growl at the wolf there. He lowers himself down in submission, but Sky can tell that he didn't like doing it. It was one of the elite guard, those most trusted by Kacey and the other alphas.

Sky turns back to her human form before she starts talking, "What were you doing sneaking up behind me?"

"I was coming to help my luna," The wolf replies rather quickly, but the words taste of lies.

"I didn't need help. Now help take the survivors back to the cells, the alphas will be questioning them later." Sky orders him.

The wolf nods and moves to obey, but Sky could tell that he wasn't happy about it.

Ellis comes over to her, "Keep an eye on that one," Sky  motions to the wolf that tried to get behind her. "He didn't like submitting to me and when I ordered him to tell me what he was doing behind me he lied."

Ellis would normally just scoff at that but with the words Kacey told him earlier that day ringing in his ears he marks the wolf. "I will, Sky." He won't be the only one either. Some of the other elite fighters that came acted more like they were helping the enemy attack than stopping it.

"Where's Wyatt? I fully expected him to respond to the threat. He's been fully healed by now." Sky asks as they return to the pack house.

"Kacey kept him to the infirmary for one more day. After carrying you last night he hurt himself and so they are keeping him there to make sure he does himself no further injury." Ellis replies a little distractedly to Sky. That attack wasn't large and it was not heading towards any of the pack houses, but was heading towards where he and Sky had been having their date. There are most definitely traitors among their people. Ones among the elite. He will most definitely keep an eye on the one that came up behind Sky.

Before they got to where the guards would separate to take the survivors to the cells Ellis leaves Sky to talk to the head warrior. The other wolves hadn't notices that Sky was still there since she blends into the night fairly easily and she heard something she wishes she didn't.

"I thought Wyatt was going to help us take that bitch down?"

Sky wants to cry out in pain from the thought of Wyatt being willing to betray her like that. "He would have, but the alphas ordered him to stay in the infirmary and even put guards on his doors." That was from the wolf that tried to sneak up behind her to one of the angry wolves that survived the attack.

"Just how long will we be stuck in that cell?" The enemy wolf demands.

"I'll work on getting you all free as soon as possible, but I can't be too obvious or I'll blow my cover. The Luna already is suspicious of me." The traitor replies.

The other wolf snorts, "So? She's just a female bitch."

The traitor looks at him in disbelief, "You do realize that about half of the deaths of you guys was from my luna, right? I told them that they would need a larger group to take her down and they didn't listen, now more than five of you are dead, three more aren't likely to make it and they are the lucky ones. If I'm not able to get you out you will be wishing you were dead."

"Then you damn well better get us out of here tonight." The other wolf growls out to the traitor.

"I will try, but no promises." The traitor replies before they come to the cells.

Sky makes her way to one of her knights. "I need to talk to Anastasia ASAP have her meet me in Kacey's office."

"Of course, my queen." Henry leaves and starts looking for the witch. He has a fairly good idea where she would be and doesn't hesitate in going there.

Just then Ellis rejoins Sky and they continue on towards the pack house. "We need to meet with Kacey and the others, Ellis, so don't disappear." Sky is more than a little upset. She suspects that Ellis knows more about this attack and doesn't like that he didn't tell her. She wants to know what the hell is going on.

Ellis swallows heavily as they continue into the building and make their way to the office.

The other alphas are already there. They aren't too happy about Sky being there and she glares at them all. "Now, does someone want to tell me what the fuck is going on? Just why the hell was Wyatt confined to a hospital room with a guard? Why the hell was one of your elite guards talking to the enemy and telling him the reason why Wyatt wasn't there? But most importantly, why did he say that Wyatt was supposed to be the one to betray me?"

The alphas all look at each other before turning back to Sky. Kacey sighs. "Sit down, Sky, this will take awhile to tell what I know."

Sky impatiently goes over to the couch and sits down. The alphas all take seats around her, as usual the twins turn to their wolves and go over to her side and she absently pets them.

"I'm waiting." Sky says coldly and they all wince a bit.

"Last night I had a dream, well it was more like a vision, of what was going to happen today. I saw the attack happen and that Wyatt betrayed you, the wolves were able to take you hostage. We," Kacey gestures to include all his brothers, "were threatened to act as if your disappearance meant nothing. That we cared nothing for you. We weren't allowed to look for you or show any indication of missing you in any way. We weren't even allowed to go into your room at night." Kacey says and Sky can tell that this does seem to anger him and by the low growls being emitted by the others it bothers them too.

"They took you and it took awhile for Anastasia to find you. She had your knights with her and they freed you."

"You came as well did you not?" Sky demands a bit harshly.

"We were told that if we made any effort to find and rescue you that you and the children would be harmed. That told me that there were traitors here in the pack so it would be safer for you to be free and away from the pack.

"After some time you came back to the pack in a rather grand way, pissed as hell at us. You rejected Wyatt and warned him that if you ever saw him again that you would kill him on sight. Then you turned to us," Kacey swallows hard. "You told us to give you one good reason to not reject us as well."

"And did you?" Sky asks coldly.

"Before I could say anything I woke up.

"I managed to tell my brothers about the vision before you left on your date. I put Wyatt under guard so that he couldn't betray you. Now you are telling me that at least one of my elite guards is a traitor."

"Oh, yeah, the one that tried to sneak up behind me. I think he was trying to take Wyatt's place. He's also planning on breaking out the prisoners tonight. Don't worry, I'll deal with that." Sky says and she's more than a little angry.

Just then there's a knock at the door. Sky gets up and answers it. Not just Anastasia was there but all her knights were as well.

"Have they told you about their vision?" Sky demands of those newly arrived.

"Yes, my queen. We were informed before you left today." Chang says softly, he doesn't think he's ever seen his queen so angry.

"I see." Sky says softly and all those in the room wince.

"Anastasia, I need you to put some magical safeguards on the cells of those that attacked me. If they are released by any other than the alphas they are to have a very unpleasant death. The one that releases then will suffer the same fate."

Anastasia raises an eyebrow at those orders.

"Is that not possible?" Sky demands.

"Yes, but it's more dark than you usually like."

"I don't like traitors that are trying to take me or destroy this pack." Sky says and they can all hear the seething under tones of her tightly controlled anger.

Anastasia doesn't hesitate any longer and sets the spell that Sky requested. "Now, I don't think the enemy will give up on you just yet, my queen. I would like to place a locating spell on you, just in case they manage to take you."

Sky isn't thrilled with this but since she doesn't plan on leaving the pack she gives the go ahead.

The other alphas go to speak but before they do Sky beats them to it. "I want a spell put on the children of this pack, especially Brandon, that if anything threatens them for any reason that they will be taken to a place of safety. I don't want them to be threatened to blackmail the alphas to get them to do what they wish."

"Excellent idea, my queen." Anastasia smiles delightedly. "I'll have to talk to the alphas about where they would like to place the children if something like that were to happen."

"Now, Sky, before you make any further arrangements there is some thing we would like for you to do." Kacey manages to get out before Sky starts speaking again.

"We want you to take Henry with you as a full time guard."

Sky gives her full attention to Kacey for the first time since she walked in.

"Why would I do that?"

"Because if you have one of your knights with you, he can help you escape if you are taken and help protect you until Anastasia and help comes."

Sky raises her eyebrow and demands, "That would include you as well, will it not?"

Kacey shakes his head no. "You are having my pup, Sky. I don't think we'll be able to keep you from being taken. It will be safer for you to stay away from the pack until we know that all the traitors are found and dealt with. With the help that will be sent I have no doubt that you will be able to take down the enemy and rain hell on the hunters while we clean house here. It will in effect be a two prong attack on the enemy and they won't even know it." Kacey says trying to explain things.

"What makes you think that I'll be raining hell down on the hunters?" Sky demands.

"Because they are the ones that are trying to take you. I saw that much in my vision. You will be able to take those that go with you and take down one hunter compound after another decimating their forces. We'll be sniffing out the traitors and dealing with them."

Sky isn't happy. "Oh, how are you going to hide this from the traitors?"

"Like in the vision, we'll have to go along with their demands. We will have to pretend to not care that you are missing."

Sky stiffens at his words. Then she smiles coldly, "I see. I don't think that it will be all that hard for you would it? I'll be watching you. I already don't fully trust you. I have no doubt that you'll be able to convince the traitors that you don't want me. I'm equally sure that you will be able to convince me of that very thing." Sky knows full well that Anastasias familiar/mate is a genius with electronics and can hack any thing.

"Just how the hell are you going to not convince me that you truly don't miss me? I already know that the twins wolves will, but the twins themselves? I think that they just want to fuck me, I think any one would do but since their wolves won't let them be with any one else they are willing to be with me. After all, it's only their wolves that want to spend time with me."

Sky then turns her attention to the others. "You others have started to spend time with me, but I'm still not convinced that you actually want to be with me and it's not your wolves forcing you to be around me. I think if it weren't for your wolves you wouldn't give a shit."

Sky allows a stunned silence to fall in the room. The twins are changing as fast as they can.
