Sky and a good share of her pack arrive at the field and array themselves along their pack border so that they can watch their luna fight to maintain her position within the pack. 

Sky ignores the bets that are placed against her by some of the jealous females, but is secretly pleased that more are betting on her winning the fight. She smirks as she hears one of the pack say that she'll finish the fight within five minutes of starting. Sky makes sure that she'll be able to find that pack member once more.

About five minutes after the Legrand pack the other pack arrives. Her mates nod cordially to the pack alpha. Floyd is the one to take center field and explain to all the reason and rules for the fight.

"The alpha heir to Cummings pack has challenged the luna and mate of the alphas of Legrand pack for her position. In return Sky has challenged the heir to Cummings pack for her position of heir. This will be a fight to the death.

"Sky was challenged first so she will choose whether to fight in human or wolf form."

Sky had clarified that human form will include partial transformation of body to that of wolf, like claws or jaws. Not many can do it in all their history only the most powerful was said to be able to. As long as she keeps her general human form and doesn't go fully furry she'll be fine.

"I chose human." The heir scoffs thinking it was because Sky couldn't change forms.

"Of course you do, human." She is rather cocky not realizing the silence that has fallen on the Legrand pack side.

Sky's mates smirk and shake their heads at her words.

Then the whispers start up. "She doesn't know." They are all shocked. Generally the rumor mill would have spread the word.

Sky decides to help her out a bit.

The female hears the whispers and looks confused. "I was turned when the alphas brought me back. Part of the turning meant marking me. So when you challenged me for Kacey you also challenged me for the others. None of them want you and should you win they'll kill you and then your pack.

"But I wouldn't be worried about that just now." Sky says and an evil look comes onto her face before she continues. "You won't be living long enough to worry about it."

With that both combatants go onto the field and take up their positions.

Before they start Sky nods to the male wolf that is standing in front facing them. "I, William Nesbitt, do reject you, Karen Cummings, as my mate." Then he spits on the ground. She stares at him shocked that he would actually reject her.

In shock she turns from him to face Sky once more and takes up her attack stance.

Sky had taken self defense classes, private ones of course, growing up and so takes one of those positions and waits for the princess to attack. As soon as Sky finishes setting her stance Karen attacks.

As soon as she does Sky moves out of the way of her attack and grabs hold of the females throat. As she does so she changes her hand to that of partial wolf and partial human so her claws are digging into the females throat drawing blood even as the female is clawing at the hand holding her throat and lifting her into the air.

Sky looks over to the other pack. "You have continuously broken the treaty with the Legrand pack because of this she wolf. That will end here and now." Sky says and as she drops the female wolf down she rips out her throat.

There is shocked silence from both sides of the field.

"Come get your dead princess. Now, Alpha, I challenge you as your heir to be alpha of your pack."

The alpha watches as his daughters body is removed from the field and closes his eyes and shakes his head. He should have told her to leave things alone. Now he has to fight a wolf that is powerful enough to partially shift. He can only hope that his experience is sufficient to win the day.

"Alpha Cummings, you are the challenged for this fight. Which form do you wish to take?" Ellis is the one to officiate this fight.

"I choose that of wolf." He hopes that his wolf will be able to pull this off.

He doesn't miss the smirk that Sky gives him as she nods her acceptance.

He leaves the field to strip and change. 

Sky remains and waits for his return before turning into her wolf. This time the wolf isn't as large as the she was when Sky first changed. This time her wolf is about the size of a female alpha wolf so she was smaller than the other wolf. The alpha knows that the wolf is hiding her power though, the power that he feels is no more than that of a regular wolf. No regular wolf would be able to do to his daughter what this one did.

He attacks hoping to take the wolf by surprise. Sky had let her wolf have near full control so the wolf takes action for the attack. In a short time the wolf has ripped out the throat and belly of the alpha. She takes the time to lick her wounds that the alpha had given her and she heals even as they watch in disbelief. Then she turns back into Sky.

"Take your dead. We'll be following to look over the pack." Sky says to the astounded pack members. She notices more than a few smiles as they look at the dead alpha. She takes it that the alpha was not a well liked man.

As the pack members shift to their wolves the Legrand pack, at least Ellis and Chang and Wyatt change to their wolves and follow Sky as she once more changes to wolf.

Sky watches as they enter the territory. She isn't sure that one of the pack wouldn't attack her for her killing of the two leaders.

As they come into sight of the pack house she is less than pleased by what she sees. The pack house itself seems to be in good shape but the other buildings she's passed and those near the pack house aren't. She thinks even less of the alpha than she had before.

As they enter the pack house she becomes absolutely incensed by what she sees. Young servants, no more than seventeen or eighteen being sexually harassed and others being physically abused.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Sky demands. Chang goes over to the females and throws the males away from them. The one that was nearly raped he gave her his shirt, to the one that was hit and kicked he gently helps to her feet.

"Who the fuck are you and what right have you to stop us?" The brash young male states getting up into Chang's face. The females cower away from him and the males that back him.

Sky goes to the females and draw them to her.

"I am your new alpha. You will submit to me and my people now!" Sky demands in tones that frighten the females near her. They kneel immediately by her side.

The brash spokesman sneers at the strange female before him. "You are not my alpha. Alpha Cummings is."

Sky shakes her head. "No, Alpha Cummings was your alpha. I'm not sure where your old beta took his body and that of his bitch daughter to. Perhaps the garbage bins." Sky tells the males before her.

The males pale before her but continue on as before. "You lie."

Sky smiles nastily, "No, I don't. Now, you will kneel before me and submit." This time Sky lets out part of her alpha power, not even the full amount, and the males and all those that are nearby find themselves kneeling before her.

"That's better."

"Alpha, Luna, what would you?" The man says coming in the pack house and giving his respects to Sky and Ellis.

"Call a pack meeting. It's time that your pack know that things have changed." Sky demands and the man nods in respect and calls for the pack meeting.

The males on that were kneeling are staring in horror at the new man and then at Sky. "Get up boys, and get to the location for pack meetings.

"I want them taken to the cells and disciplined." Sky demands. 

Ellis nods already having marked their faces. He had no doubt that Sky would demand that, but he would have done so any way. You don't treat pack mates like that.

Sky finally turns her attention to the two females at her side.

"Are you okay?" She asks the one that was sexually assaulted.

"It's nothing that hasn't happened before. Thank you Luna."

Ellis and the others shake their heads holding back the emotions that causes them. They'd had no idea that the females were so badly treated here. At least some of the females.

Sky is looking at the wounds of the other female. "You might have a broken rib from that kick." She tells the girl as she gently probes the forming bruise.

"No, just bruised they didn't kick me hard enough to break it and they didn't get a repeat kick before you stopped it."

Sky frowns at her words, "How would you know?" Sky intends to have the doctor look them both over anyway.

"I've had broken ribs as well as other broken bones before. These don't hurt nearly as much."

"Do they treat all the females of the pack like this?" Sky demands.

The two girls shake their heads. "No, it's just those of us that are from the orphanage. We don't have any family to protect us so they do what ever they want to us. None of us females over fourteen are untouched." The one that was sexually assaulted tells her.

The males that are with her take a step back at those words.

"What did you say?" Sky says softly more furious than she had been when she had seen what was going on at the orphanage.

"At fourteen we are sent to work here as omegas. The other pack members are allowed to do whatever they want. They'll assault us and then abuse the shit out of us then order us back to work and abuse us even more for not having worked while they-" the girl chokes off her words as she fights to not cry.

"Shh, that will no longer be allowed." 

"I want all the staff from here removed immediately to the pack house." Sky tells Ellis and he nods. He gestures over some of the guards and tells them to gather all the servants of the pack house and warns them that they better not hurt them when they do so.

The guards swallow heavily and nod before nearly running to do as they are ordered.

The girls go with Sky as she heads to where the meeting will be held.

Silence falls over the room as she and her entourage come in. They make their way to the dais and the mutters start up.

The man that had called the pack meeting stands in front and calls their attention. "I'm here to announce that Alpha Cummings has lost his match and we have a new alpha." Sky steps forward and has Ellis come with her.

"I'm Sky and I'm your new alpha, but since I have other things to do, Ellis will be taking over the position of alpha on my behalf. I'll retain the position of luna though. There will be some changes in this pack, the first being that you'll be integrated into Legrand since I'm already Luna of Legrand. Those that wish will be coming over to live. Those that wish to remain may do so, but you'll need to work with Alpha Ellis on becoming part of Legrand over here. You will follow the rules or you will be punished.

"The first changes are two fold. First, there never is an acceptable reason to assault physically or sexually any member of the pack. I don't give a shit if they are from a high family or from the orphanage. They are fellow pack members and deserve your respect even if you don't like them. If you refuse to give them respect then there will be no respect given to you and you'll be punished just as they are punished. If they do something worthy of being punished take it to either myself or Alpha Ellis. If it has to do with relations between females and males, staff or any thing to do with children, orphans or females in general bring it to me. If it has to do with security or the pack over all take it to Ellis."

Sky looks over the assemblage, "The second part has to do with mates, if you are mated you don't mess with any one else. If the person you are flirting with is mated and accepts the flirtation and goes further then you both will be punished. The punishment for attempted murder, which cheating on your mate is, is death." With that Sky steps back and looks once more at the audience and notices a few females with smirks on their faces as they very carefully don't look at the male at their side.

The man that had called them then dismisses them.

"I want to look over your orphanage before we do any thing else."

"Of course Luna."
