Chapter Twelve: Festival Part. 1

I'm so sorry this chapter took really long for an update, I've just been really busy. I hope you enjoy this chapter, and as of now the real 'romance' between SasuHina could begin (I think) If you have time, please check out "A Trip" A new SasuHina I'll be working on as well. The first chapter is more like a small intro, but not really.(A bit boring) Anyways, I don't own Naruto or the mentioned characters in my story. Kishimoto is the owner and will continue to be so. Enjoy!:)

"H-H-Hopefully soon" She said, taking a few moments to think."If you would like I could bake you some brownies and bring them to you a day from now" She confirmed, gazing at Kakashi who happily grin behind his mask.

"Well I'll be delighted" He said,

"Well then, a day from now it is" She said happily, smiling widely. Kakashi agreed with a nod. Hinata, continuing to eat her ramen made a mental note on her mind.

Smiling softly, Hinata placed the chocolate and peanut butter brownies inside a small bento box. Sasuke eyeing Hinata from a feet away, raised his eyebrow. Gazing from the box to Hinata. Her slender fingers, closing the lid to the green box, as she covered it with white cloth. Tying it in a neat knot.

"U-U-Uchiha-san, would you like-"
Stopping her from uttering any more words, Sasuke shook his head. Denying her offer.

"No" He stated sharply. Hinata, biting her lower lip nod her head. Turning back around, now facing the bento box once again.

"W-W-Would you like to attend the festival with me?" Hinata asked shyly, her cheeks a deep red. However, with her back facing Sasuke he was unable to see.

"Why would I attend a lame festival?" Sasuke asked loudly, rolling his eyes. Taking a seat on a small chair near by. Eyeing Hinata as she begin to turn around.

"I-I-It's not lame, Uchiha-san" Hinata confirmed softly, the bento firmly on her hands.

"It's filled with alot of people, who play games all night. They drink, and watch fireworks that are just to loud and bright" Sasuke voiced.

"F-F-Festival are suppose to filled with alot of people" Hinata mumbled lightly. "Playing games are f-f-fun at times, and not e-e-everyone drinks." She claimed, moving closer to Sasuke. "A-A-As in for the fireworks, there suppose to be loud and bright. It's what makes them beautiful, it's also very relaxing to just watch the fireworks up in a mountain by your self" Hinata said, shifting from side to side. Sasuke intensely stare at her, his eyes boring in her pale opal eyes.

"Relaxing you say?" Sasuke asked.

"H-H-Hai" Hinata stuttered. Her cheeks warming up more, as the color changed to a deeper red. Sasuke rising from the chair, walk the remaining steps to her. Standing in front if her, with only a few inches away.

"Can I take your word for it?" Sasuke asked.

Hinata with a white bento box in her hand, slowly made her way to the festival. Wearing a light lavender kimono, with dark purple flowers decorating the entire kimono. Her obi the color of a medium purple, worn in a fancy musubi knot. Her feets accompanied with both dark and light purple sandals. Her long almost bluish and at times purplish hair, was let alone. As it fell smoothly down her waist, like a soft curtain. Her usual red cheeks, complimenting her pale skin.

"Hinata-chan!" A loud yet friendly voice yelled out. Earning the attention of Hinata, who turned around. Seeing a girl running towards her, Ten-Ten. A smile appeared on Hinata's face, as she was taken in a tight hold by her friend. Her hug almost suffocating.

"Hinata-chan, I haven't seen you in so long" Ten-Ten exclaimed loudly, releasing her hold on Hinata. Taking a step back, Hinata was able to see her friend in a light pink short sleeve kimono. With fire figures around it, and light pink and brown sandals. With her usual hair style.

"So what have you been up to, Hinata-chan?" Ten-Ten asked with a bright smile. Hinata smiling soflty, shook her head.

"N-N-Not alot, and you Ten-Ten?" Hinata quietly asked.

"I've just been busy in my Smith shop" Ten-Ten beamed happily,

"I-I-I'm glad for you Ten-Ten" Hinata whispered softly, suddenly remembering her dear cousin. Her smile suddenly turning into a frown. Unknowingly her eyes begin to shimmer. Ten-Ten noticing her reaction, gently placed her hand on Hinata's shoulder for support.

"Hinata-chan, don't cry. I'm positive he wouldn't want to see you cry either. So smile. Smile for him" Ten-Ten almost begged, as Hinata nod her head. Sniffing quietly, silently cleaning her tears.

"You want to look around with me? We can play games all night" Ten-Ten suggested. Hinata smiling softly, shook her head.

"G-G-Gomen, Ten-Ten but I'm waiting for Uchiha-san" Hinata mumbled softly, Ten-Ten nod her head in understatement.

"Okay then, well I'll-" She stopped, pausing. Her eyebrows meeting at the center of her forehead. Her head shifting to right, looking at Hinata with uncertainty. "D-D-Did you say, Uchiha-san?" Ten-Ten asked slowly, earning a small nod from Hinata. "As in S-S-Sasuke?" She asked again.

"H-H-Hai" Hinata said muttering.

"Well then... This is something new" Ten-Ten whispered to herself. She appeared to be thinking, until she suddenly looked at Hinata with a goofy face. Raising her right eyebrow, looking at Hinata suspiciously. "Are you and-" She stop, smiling rather big. "Sasuke going out?" Ten-Ten asked excitedly, wiggling her eyebrows. Soon bursting into a set of giggles which soon followed to a laughter.
"Well then, I wish you and Sasuke the best. Good luck, Hinata-chan!" Ten-Ten voiced happily, patting Hinata on her shoudler before dashing away from her. Leaving a blushing Hinata standing near a tall Mongolia tree. Clutching the white bento box in her hand, as she shook her head repeatedly with stain red cheeks.

With a deep frown displayed on his features, Sasuke closed the door to his apartment. Walking down the pavement, and the small stair case. Wearing a light blue kimono, with white prints and a purple obi tied around his hips. With a navy blue robe, and the Uchiha symbol on his left side. Accompanied with brown and blue sandals. His hair styled differently then his usual "duckbutt" hair, as a navy blue obi was tied around his head. He could feel the stares of many people as he made his way to the festival. Why did I decide to come? He asked silently. The street lights, lighting his way to the festival. Different colored string decorating the walls of the village, with paper lanterns tied to walls and in a string along with a big white banner. Stating 'Festival', with big script red letters. He viewed the different people in their kimono's as they cheerfully talked with their friends, playing booth games, and drinking. Of course, Sasuke thought, rolling his eyes. With a sudden tap on his shoulder, he was forced to stop. A low masculine voice filled his ears.

"Hello there, Sasuke. I didn't think you'll come" Kakashi's voiced out loud, removing his hand from Sasuke's shoulder. Sasuke turning around to face his sensei.

"Kakashi" Sasuke greeted with a low mumble.

"So how have you been Sasuke? Oh wait, I can't ask that no more" Kakashi said, scratching the back of his neck. Chuckling nervously. "Did you come alone?" Kakashi asked, eyeing his student with curious eyes.

"In a way" Sasuke confirmed, as he slowly begin to walk away. Kakashi following closely behind.

"Have you seen Hinata-chan?" Kakashi asked, looking around the crowd of people. Sasuke shrugged.

"No," He replied, looking at his teacher. "Why?" Sasuke asked, almost a bit to curious for his liking. Which made Kakashi turn around to face him.

"We arranged to meet up" Kakashi simply responded, dodging a running kid. Sasuke frowning, confusingly asked.

"You did?" Sasuke asked, Was she planning on meeting us both at the same time? Sasuke asked himself.

"Yeah, so she can give some of her brownies" He answered, mumbling a quick apology to a villager he bumped into.

"Oh" Sasuke said, looking away from his teacher. His attention now focused up ahead. A tall green Mongolia tree came in a view, with a round table and seat right under it. His black eyes, roamed the small area as they landed on a seated figure. A white bento box, laying on top of the brown table. The sitting figure, playing with her light lavender kimono. Hinata

Pointing towards her sitting figure, he called out to Kakashi.

"She's over there" Sasuke confirmed, letting his hand drop to his side. Kakashi, looking from Sasuke to where he pointed smiled under his dark navy blue mask.

"Let's go" Kakashi mumbled, walking pass the many people. Dodging as many kids and elders as possible. Sasuke only having to walking straight ahead, the villagers and everyone else appeared to move away on their own. Slowly advancing the sitting girl, Kakashi loudly yelled out.

"Oi! Hinata-chan!" Waving his right hand in the air, running the rest of the way towards her. Kakashi soon stood in front of Hinata. Hinata being her usual polite self, stood up. Bowing down, as she said her proper greetings.

"O-O-Ohayo, Kakashi-Sensei, Uchiha-san" Hinata said, earning a small smile from Kakashi and a grunt from Sasuke. "I-I-I'm glad you could make it, Uchiha-san" She said happily, completely eyeing him. "I-I-I thought you weren't going to actually come and just leave me here" Hinata said softly, smiling. Kakashi, turing away from her, turned to gaze at his student.

"I thought you said-" Interrupting him, Sasuke butt in.

"I said in a way, I never said no" Sasuke claimed, rolling his eyes. Kakashi grinned happily,

"K-K-Kakashi-Sensei, please accept these brownies" Hinata's soft voice said, handing the small white bento box to Kakashi. Kakashi, smiling took the box. Taking in the scent of chocolate and peanut butter brownies.

"Arigatou, Hinata-chan" Kakashi voice happily.

"Y-Y-Your welcome, Kakashi-Sensei" Hinata said,

"Well then I'll love to stay and chat, but I know you and Sasuke must really want to go on that date now, well bye" Kakashi said. Grinning from ear to ear, before disappearing in puff of smoke. Leaving a annoyed Sasuke, and blushing Hinata.

The loud noises of excitement and yelling filled the cold air, as Sasuke and Hinata stayed silent. Not uttering a single word.

Sasuke not bothered by the silence, happily welcomed it. His eyes shifting to Hinata as he observed her attire and figure. Her pale skin, looking soft as always and as well as her long bluish hair. She wore a light lavender kimono that complimented her figure. A figure he never knew she held.

Hinata feeling the eyes of Sasuke on her, shifted her body uncomfortably. His eyes burning into her. Softly yet slowly she moved her face towards him. Eyeing his thinking face. He face was neutral, no sort of expression on his features. His hair styled differently then his usual hair. It fell smoothly down his face, covering his left eye slightly. The length of his hair, coming to a stop at the end of his neck or a bit further. A smile decorated her face. He looks very-

"Are we going to stand here all day or what?" Hearing his stoic voice, made Hinata flinch. Turning away from him, as quickly as she can. Her face completely red, as the beating of heart escalated in a abnormal rate.

"G-G-Gomen, we should-" She stop. "W-W-Would you like to look around or-" She paused again, looking at the dirt floor.

"Let's just get this over with" Sasuke voiced, taking a few steps forward only to stop and wait."Well aren't you coming?" Sasuke asked.
