After meeting up with her friends to tell them about moving schools she got a mix of good lucks and it won't be the same without yous, Tina was on her way home to the 'crap shack'. Walking up to the porch  she was meet with the sound of her mothers voice "You look like you were swallowed by a Kilt" looking from her mum and Sookie to a flustered Rory Gilmore she can't hold back her laughs until she realized that she too would be wearing the kilt like uniform. Looking at her mum with pleading eyes "Mummy please tell me that you can hem it a lot, it would be like social suicide to be seen in that".

Giving her youngest daughter a bright smile she replied "don't worry I can hem it a lot" while looking at Rory for her answer.

"Fine, you can hem it. A little" coming from Rory "But not too short" following everyone in side Tina was handed her skirt pullng it over her jeans and jumping up into the stool next to Rory waiting for their mother to start hemming. "I can't believe tommorows our last day at Stars Hollow high" answered Rory looking between the two grinning.

Earning a "I feel you sister" from Tina

"Today i was so excited i dressed for gym" Rory stated, "really I missed that, the only two classes we don't have together and I miss the one where you try play sports, life isn't fair" earning a simipathic look from her sister and a questing look from her mum "You played with other people" asked her mum getting over the shock.

"And I learned that all this time i was avoiding group sports?"

"Yeah"

"It's cause you suck at them, I heard from Emily who heard from Sasha who heard from Mike who was in your gym class that you hit Holly with a volleyball, is it ture?" asked Tina interested if her sister actually hit Holly"

Seeing her mum and her sisters faces Rory looked to her toes "I didn't mean to it just slipped out of my hands" earning a clap on the back from her sister and a laugh or two from her mum. "Don't worry Rory you get that from me, both of you" stated their mother after recovering from her laughing state. As the girls finished up the hemming Sookie questioned  "Where's your paté?"

"At Zsa Zsa Gabor's house." answer their mother

Realising that Lorehai had no idea what she was talking about answed "Right. I'm going to the store because you have nothing. You feel like duck?"

"Ooh, if it's made with chicken, absolutely."

"I'll be back." with that the Gilmore's favorite chef walked out of the house.

Clearing out her red locker while talking to a couple of her friends Tina looked over her shoulder to see Mr Leather Jacket and her sister talking, finally closing her locker and grabbing her box of stuff made her way out of the school for the final time not before looking over her shoulder to see the new guy helping Rory with her box of junk. Smiling happily to herself she though, well it saves me from having to introduce them now as she headed home to dump her stuff and hopefully take a quick nap before meeting her mum and sister at Luke's.

Entering her house Tina yelled "Is anyone home" after getting no reply she went up to her room dumping her box of junk from school on the floor then kicking it under her bed. Looking around her room alway brought a smile to Tina's face it was fulled with bright and colorful colors all around as well as posters of cute boy bands, actor's and cut outs from her fashion magazines. Pulling her polka dot dona over herself Tina feel asleep.

After taking a nap and freshening up Tina made her way to Luke's diner for dinner with her mum and Rory. "So, you were late getting home tonight." states their mother looking at Rory

" Yeah, I went to the library."

"Oh. Oh, I forgot to tell you, we're having dinner with your grandparents tomorrow night." Lorehai tells the two girls instantly getting confused looks from both girls.

"We are?" the girls asked at the same time, then looking at each other as they hated when they answered questions at the same time. "Mmhmm." she replied not liking the though of dinner with her parents.

"But it's September." Rory managed to say joining in with her twin Tina asked "But their are no holidays in September and I would know, you guys know how much I love holidays cause you always get gifts." earning a nod from the other two, it was true Tina loved getting presents no matter the time of year. Getting feed up with this back and forth she answer "Look, it's not a holiday thing. It's just dinner, okay?". Tuning out to the current conservation between her mother and Rory Tina began to cut her burger taking a bite of one of her favorite foods.

"I don't understand why we're going to dinner tomorrow night. I mean, what if I had plans? You didn't even ask me." a angry Rory asked while stabbing her burger  "Well, if you had plans I would have known." her mother told her like it was the most obvious thing ever. "How?" she got from Rory and a "Yeah mum I don't tell you every little thing in my life and by the way I don't have plans on Friday, thanks for asking". Tina said as she went back to her burger. 

Tina was brought back to the conversation by her mum claiming to be the bitch today, knowing that Monday's and Thursday's are Tina nights according to the 'Who's the bitch roaster' she spoke up "Excuse me it's a Thursday so I'm the bitch today"

Completely ignoring Tina comments the two continue auguring to the point where both march out of the diner leaving Tina sitting at the table alone. Finishing the last mouthfuls of her burger she ran out of the diner to catch up. Finally catching up to her mum and sister Tina hears her mum ask "What male friend?"

"They need a stock boy at the supermarket. I already talked to Taylor Doose about him. You just send him around tomorrow." answered Miss Patty totally unaware that she was in the middle of world war 3.

"Okay, thanks." Rory says looking to Miss Patty, while Tina is smiling thinking that Rory and Mr Leather Jacket are talking, well that is at lest what she thinks is happening. "What male friend?" her mother asks clearly shocked that Rory hadn't told her, she always prided herself that her and the girls were honest with each other and told each other everything. Like when Tina had her first kiss and 'boyfriend' she run straight to tell her mum. "Oh ,he's very cute. You have good taste." Miss Patty adds unknowingly adding more fire to this whole situation.

"Oh, you're gonna have to walk faster than that. You're gonna have to turn into friggin' Flo Jo to get away from me." yells Lorelei as she ties to catch up to Rory dragging a smiling Tina with her.

Opening the door to the Gilmore house that Rory had just slammed  seconds ago Tina and Lorelai walks into the house  "This is about a boy, of course. I can't believe I didn't see it. All this talk about money and bus rides. You got a thing going with a guy and you don't want to leave school. I expected this from Tina not you" earning a look of disbelief from Tina.

" I'm going to bed."

" God, I'm so dense. That should have been my first thought. After all, you're me."

Rory turns around in outrage yelling "I'm not you."

" Really? Someone willing to throw important life experiences out the window to be with a guy. It sounds like me to me." repilels her mother who still can't believe that this is happening

" Whatever."

"So who is he?"

"There's no guy!"

" Dark hair, romantic eyes? Looks a little dangerous?" adds Lorehai

"No he's more the boy next door you know with a leather jacket and he's like really really tall" adds Tina totally missing that she is not helping this scene. "This conversation is over." Rory adds trying to shut her mum up.

"Tattoos are good, too!"

"I don't want to change schools because of all the reasons I've already told you a thousand times. If you don't want to believe me, that's fine. Goodnight" slamming the door to her bedroom

"Does he have a motorcycle? 'Cause if you're gonna throw your life away, he better have a motorcycle!"

"I once kissed a guy with a motorcycle he was a great kisser" adds Tina feeling left out.

"Not helping Tina" yells Rory and Lorelai at the same time

"Whatever i was just trying to help, good night then" as she runs up the stairs to her room.

Arriving at the Gilmore Mansion the 3 Gilmore Girls were standing staring at the door almost daring who rings the door bell first. "So, do we go in or do we just stand here reenacting The Little Match Girl?" asks Rory recieving a smile and giggle from Tina but a glare from her mum. "Okay, look, I know you and me are having a thing here and I know you hate me but I need you to be civil, at least through dinner and then on the way home you can pull a Menendez. Deal?"

"Fine." Rory grumpily agrees as she rings the door bell. As the girls wait for the door to open Tina wonder if she will get any presents cause her grandparents normal give good expensive presents. "Hi, Grandma." asks Rory getting a "what's up" from Tina.

"Well, you're right on time."

"Yeah, yeah, no traffic at all."

"I can't tell you what a treat it is to have you girls here." Their Grandmother adds as if she didn't think they would come. "Oh, well, we're excited, too." adds Tina even though she would much rather be at home watching a movie or out with her friends. "Is that a collector's cup or can I throw it away for you?" asks their grandmother leaving Rory and Tina alone with their Grandma.

"So, I want to hear all about Chilton."

"Well, I haven't actually started yet."

"Well I'm exicited new schools will be fun lots of new people to meet" Tina adds with a wink to Rory at the end.

"Richard, look who's here."

"Rory. You're tall, and Tina have you grown"

"I guess." adds Rory feeling very awkward where Tina just smiles giving her grandfather a thumbs up. "Well, what's your height?"

"5'7". and "5'3" are said at the same time

" That's tall and you have grown Tina."

"Hi, Dad." adds Lorelai

"Lorelai, your daughter's tall and Tina has grown"

"Oh, I know. It's freakish. We're thinking of having them studied at M.I.T."

"Ah" comes from their grandfather as he comes back to his newspaper.

"Champagne, anyone?" Emily asks as she reenters the room with five glasses.

"Oh, that's fancy."

"Well, it's not every day that I have my girls here for dinner on a day the banks are open. A toast - to Rory and Tina entering Chilton and an exciting new phase in their life." which was a totally a hint to why they are here that was completely overlooked by both Tina and Rory. Tina looks away waiting for dinner so they can get the hell out of here.

Half way though the dinner from hell according to Lorelai, now don't get me wrong Tina loved her grandparents but they can be a bit too traditional for her liking. Going back to eating the lamb that was surprising really good Tina stops when her and Rory are asked how it is Rory answers with "It's good." while Tina just gives a thumbs up again and smiles. The dinner was getting so boring that Tina was making faces with her remaining food till her grandfather speaks gaining her full attention "Speaking of which, Christopher called yesterday.".

"Speaking of which? How is that a speaking of which?" ask her mother  not happy with the change of subject.

"He's doing very well in California. His Internet start-up goes public next month. This could mean big things for him.  Very talented man, your father." looking at both of the twins as he spoke,

"They both know"

"He always was a smart one, that boy. You both must take after him." Richard says looking at his grandchildren again.

"Speaking of which, I'm gonna get a Coke. Or a knife."

"I think I'm gonna go talk to her" Rory says "Yeah that's a good idea" adds Tina only to both be told to stay and keep their grandfather company. As the two girls are left at the table awkwardly looking at each other they began to hear their grandmother and mum yelling in the kitchen.

"Is this what it's gonna be like every Friday night? I come over and let the two of you attack me?" Both girls look at each other both thinking different things cause all Tina is thinking no more Friday night dates.

"Keep your voice down."

"No, Mother. I can't take it anymore. Tonight just seems like a nightmare."

"Why would he bring up Christopher? Was that really necessary?"

"He likes Christopher."

" Isn't that interesting? Because, as I remember, when Christopher got me pregnant, Dad didn't like him so much."

"Oh, well, please, you were sixteen. What were we supposed to do - throw you a party? We were disappointed. The two of you had such bright futures."

"Yes. And by not getting married we got to keep those bright futures."

"When you get pregnant, you get married. A child needs a mother and a father."

"Oh, Mom. Do you think that Christopher would have his own company right now if we'd gotten married? Do you think he would be anything at all?"

"Yes, I do. Your father would have put him in the insurance business and you'd be living a lovely life right now."

"He didn't want to be in the insurance business and I am living a lovely life right now."

"That's right, far away from us."

"Oh, here we go."

"You took those girls and completely shut us out of your life."

"You wanted to control me."

"You were still a child."

"I stopped being a child the minute the strip turned pink, okay? I had to figure out how to live. I found a good job."

"As a maid. With all your brains and talent."

"I worked my way up. I run the place now. I built a life on my own with no help from anyone."

"Yes, and think of where you would have been if you'd accepted a little help, hmm? And where Rory and Tina would have been. But no, you were always too proud to accept anything from anyone."

"Well, I wasn't too proud to come here to you two begging for money for my kid's school, was I?"

" No, you certainly weren't. But you're too proud to let them know where you got it from, aren't you? Well, fine, you have your precious pride and I have my weekly dinners. Isn't that nice? We both win."

After the girls left the Gilmore house anyone could tell that they were all shaken from the experience. "Mum?" Rory asked feeling incredibly guilty over having too go to their grandparents for money, looking at her two daughters Lorehai answered "I'm okay. I just. . .do I look shorter? 'Cause I feel shorter."

To ease the awkwardness from the situation Tina suggested one thing that no ture Gilmore Girl could say no too "Hey, how 'bout we buy you a cup of coffee?"

"Oh, yeah. You drive, though, okay, 'cause I don't think my feet will reach the pedals." looking thankfully at Tina and Rory before throwing the keys at Tina, who then passed then to Rory as Tina felt to tired to drive.

Once entering Luke's Diner the girls where all welcomed with the Familiar smell of coffee and fried food. Taking a seat at a free table each Gilmore took off their coats off and found their seat. Finally breaking the silence "So, nice dinner at the grandparents' house." asked Rory feeling more and more guilty.

"Oh, yeah, her dishes have never been cleaner." answered their mother

The twins looked at each other before Tina asked the question that both of them were dying to know the answer of"You and Grandma seemed to have a nice talk."

"How much did you hear?"

"Not much. You know, snippets." added Rory while making eye contact with Tina.

"Snippets?"

"Oh yeah just Little snippets." mumbled Tina trying not to make eye contact with her mum.

"So basically everything?"

"Basically, yes." answered the twins in unision

"Well, the best laid plans."

"I think it was really brave of you to ask them for money." nodded both Rory and Tina

"Oh, I so do not want to talk about it."

"How many meals is it gonna take 'til we're off the hook?" pleased Tina using her puppy dog eyes, "cause I love Friday nights" as Rory nodded as well.

"I think the deli spread at my funeral will be the last one. Hey, wait, does that mean..."

"Can't let a perfectly good plaid skirt go to waste." answered Rory smiling up at her mum.

"Oh, honey, you won't be sorry, you both will love it I'm sure" said Lorehai as Luke approched the table looking very fancy in his suit.

"Wow, you look nice. Really nice."

"I had a meeting earlier at the bank. They like collars. You look nice, too."

"I had a flagellation to go to." earning a laugh from Tina

"So, what'll you have?" Luke asked the Gilmore but already knowing the answer.

"Coffee, in a vat."

"I'll have coffee also. And chili fries."

"I'll have coffee as well and just fries" added Tina already imaging the smell of the coffee and fires.

"That's quite a refined palate you got there." As we walks away from the smiling girls.

"Behold the healing powers of a bath. So, tell me about the guy."

"You know what's really special about our relationship? The total understanding about the need for one's privacy. I mean, you really understand boundaries."

"oh yeah totally it's like we are one body, mind and soul". added Tina

"So tell me about the guy."

"Mom!" mocked yelled Rory looking to her sister for help but from the smile on her face she wasn't getting help from Tina tonight.

"Is he dreamy?"

"Oh, that's so Nick at Night."

"Well, I'm gonna find out anyway."

"Really? How?"

"I'll spy or ask Tina" earning a shake of the head from Tina and a small laugh.

"Coffee. . .fries. I can't stand it. This is so unhealthy. Rory, Tina please, put down those cups of coffee. You do not want to grow up to be like your mom." states Luke as he place the girls food and coffee on the table.

"Sorry, too late."

"Sorry I'm mamas girl all the way" gaining Tina a side hug from her mum, causing Luke to shake his head as he walks away.

"So tell me about the guy."

"Check, please."

"No, really, are you embarrassed to bring him home?"

"Yeah what's his name, I only know him as leather jacket guy"

"I'm not embarrassed and I'm not telling you his name Tina, cause your the gossip queen of the town I'm sure you will find out soon" earning a fake sad face from Tina.

"Does he talk at all?"

" No, Mom, he's a mime and Tina stop with the fake sad face"

A/N Yay I'm so excited for Tina to start Chilton, she is going to get along with different people as her and Rory don't really hang out at school that much.
