The Gilmore house was a mess, it was as simple as that. Her mother having the crazy idea volunteered to house the donated goods and organized them leaving the house a living and breathing second-hand goods store but the good kind.

"Sweater?" calls out Rory as Tina and Lane look over at their areas to check where the sweater should be sorted

"Not my area" informs Tina as she goes back to folding up some jeans

"Over here." cry's Lane as Rory passes her the sweater

"Jeans?"

"I have the jeans" sings out Tina as Rory throws them over to her

"A big furry purple thing that could be either a hat, a toilet paper cover or some kind of dirty hand puppet."

Looking up Tina's eyes meet lanes before they both answer "Mystery box on the left." just as Luke enters with two bags greeting the girls with a "Hey"

"Hey, Luke."

"Where do you want these?" questions Luke holding up the bags

"What do you have?" asks Tina turning around to fully face Luke

"Clothes, rags and some old pots and pans"

After taking a moment to think Tina answers "Kitchenware can go in the kitchen and the clothes can go right over there."

"Ok" replays Luke as he heads for the kitchen after putting clothes down next to Tina

"Here Grinch." calls out her mother as she walks down the stairs handing Rory her findings

"Thank you"

"Who wants cheese?" asks Lorelai

"As much as I would love to I have to check out my room for stuff to donate" calls out Tina as she moves past her mother up the stairs

"Ok have fun with that" grins Lorelai as she yells back to her daughter going up the stairs

After cleaning out her closet Tina makes her way downstairs to see Rory and Sookie jumping up and down.

"Why are you screaming and jumping up and down" wonders Tina as she walks over to the group

"We got 5 tickets to the Bangle and you get one of the ticket" exclaims Rory

"Omg really" screams Tina as she joins in the jumping.

The next day at school both twins are seated in Ms Calsecott's debate class with Matt on Tina's left. "As I mentioned yesterday, we will be holding a debate next week. Your subject 'Did Charles I receive a fair trial' The pros will represent the parliament who deemed they had sovereignty and the cons will represent the monarch and try and prove that the charge against him was not legal. What is fascinating Mr Dugray?" calls out the teacher catching him looking at Rory

"Uh, nothing Ms Caldecott." stumbles back Tristan probably not used to being caught in class looking at people.

"Nothing Mr Dugray?"

"My notes - my notes are fascinating Ms Caldecott."

"Yes, they are fascinating Mr Dugray. As I was saying, the pro and con teams will each have two minutes and 30 seconds for introductions, six minutes to debate, three minutes for conclusions and five minutes for questions from the audience. The winner shall be decided by a hand count from the rest of the class. Does that sound like fun Mr Dugray?" gaining Tristan attention after being caught looking at Rory again. Matt and Tina exchange looks like seriously.

"What?" exclaims a confused Tristan as he has not been listening

"The debate. Does it sound like fun?"

"Yes, it does."

"It does, doesn't it Mr Dugray?"

"Oh, it absolutely does Ms Caldecott"

"More fun than staring at Miss Gilmore's ear?" this statement causes Rory's face to go red with embarrassment

"Yes, Ms Caldecott."

Continuing on with the lesson Ms Caldecott starts to group the class up "Yeah, I think so too. Ok, any questions? Good, I'll assign your teams."

Before she starts pointing "You, you, you, you, You, you, you, you, - pro.

"Who did she point to?" whispers Paris to Tina who is also confused with the groupings

"Well I think she..." whispers back Tina as she looks at Louise and Rory

Still unsure Paris stands up "Excuse me, Ms Caldecott?"

"Miss Geller?"

"I wasn't sure who you pointed to just now."

"Oh, uh, let's see. You, Miss Lynn, Miss Grant and Miss Gilmore and the other Miss Gilmore" leaving Tina a bit disappointed at not being partnered with Matt.

"Are you sure?" double checks Paris hoping to avoid working with Rory

"Yes I am, but thank you for asking." as Paris takes a sits "Ok, you, you, you and you - pro. You and you - con."

Outside in the hallway, the group of girls is gathered around working out who's place to work at.

"So I guess we should make a plan," suggest Rory not happy with being partnered with Paris

"To do what?" wonders Madeline making the girls roll their eyes

"To work out our debate Madeline." snaps Paris

"Oh, yeah right."

"We need a place to work." States Lousies

"My house is out." replays Paris's almost instantly

"Why?"

"Because it is."

"You need a reason," demands Louise

"My mother is having the entire place redone, she wants all evidence of my father out of there. So unless you want to sit on no furniture while watching three Harvey Fierstein impersonators rip up the carpet and paint everything a ridiculous shade of white and call it 'angel's kiss' then we're going to have to find somebody else's house to go to." frowns Paris

"My brother has the measles."

"My mom's having an affair."

"Well, I guess we can go to my house. I mean, we're having a town rummage sale so it's kind of a mess, but it's there," suggests Rory and Tina nodding along

"Isn't your house kind of far?" asks Louise

"It's thirty minutes away by bus."

"Bus? I don't do 'bus'."

"Well if you have a better suggestion" exclaims Rory just wanting to leave

"I'll drive." added in Paris

"Ok, so then tomorrow" confirms Tina

"Tomorrow."

"Fine."

"Fine."

"Cool" finishes Tina as they head for their next classes.

"Rory, Tina,  I think your friends are here. She must be one great babysitter to earn enough money for that car," calls Lorelai grabbing the twins attention

"Let's just get this over with." frowns Rory

"It won't be that bad" comforts Tina

"Take heart, my dear. Suffer today party tonight." jokes Lorelai as he goes to open the font door greeting the girls "Hi"

"Hi"

"Hi"

"Come one in"

"So did you guys find it ok?" asks Rory

"There's no sign on this street" complains Paris making Tina turn to Rory "Did you tell her to turn at the big rooster statue

"I did tell her, there was a reason why I told you to turn right at the big rooster statue" reply's back Rory

"I thought you were kidding," tells a serious Paris not impressed to be in the small town

Sensing the tension Lorelai jumps in"Oh no, we never kid about Monty"

"Monty?" 

"Monty the rooster - Monty," states Tina 

"Oh."

"Everybody this is my mom" introductions Rory while Tina just looks at her like seriously they probably already  knew that that was their mum

"Lorelai"

"This is Louise, Madeline and Paris" calls Tina as she pints to each girl

"Ah, very good girl-group names. Ok, so, um sorry about the house of horrors here. Some crazy lady volunteered to lead this charity thing and we're trying to get her some help, so make yourselves comfortable. Rory, Tina, just yell when you guys want pizza."

"Ok" answer back the Twins as they walk into the living room

"Ok" finishes Lorelai as she goes up the stairs

"So do you guys want to work in here or in the kitchen?" asks Tina

"Whatever." replies leaving it up to the twins to pick which spot to that they choose the living room.

"Ok, so here's how it should go. Madeline will do the introductions, I'll handle the debate, Rory will do the conclusion and Louise and Tina will take questions," states Paris to which Tina had it cover if there was one thing not to mess with Paris on it was school work.

"Why do you automatically get to handle the debate?" wonders Rory probably already picturing herself as the debater for the group

"Because I'm the most experienced at it" rebuts Paris

Speaking up for Paris, Madeline reassures Rory "Trust me, you want her to handle the debate. She never gives up."

"Now that that's cleared up let's move on" suggest Tina

"So what is all this stuff?" asks Louise as she starts going through some bags

"Uh, it's for a big town rummage sale."

"Like a charity thing?"

Looking up from her work Tina answers "Yeah. There's this old bridge that's completely falling apart and the town's trying to save it."

"Oh, cool hat."

"Put that down. It's used." snaps Paris 

"Vintage dear," states Louise as she rolls her eyes at Paris

"Filthy darling" 

"There's this great store under my therapist office who has the best vintage clothes. I found an original Pucci top for practically nothing." 

"Oh Pucci is very big right now." to which Tina nods her head 

"You must take me some time" informs Tina 

 "Is this a Pucci?" asks Madeline as she holds up a shirt

"No, that's a patty," jokes Tina as she flips her hair pretending to be posh

"A patty?" wonders Lousie trying to figure out if she knows the brand

"Miss Patty. She's a dance teacher here. These are some of her old costumes." states Rory 

"Oh, here Paris. Tristin might like this" jokes Louise as she holds up a pink sequence dress, making Tina laugh as if Paris would be seen in that

"Can we just work, please?" pleads Paris

"Ugh. I would love to have a boyfriend that looked like Tristin or Matt. Tina, you are so lucky" complains Louise about not having a boyfriend

"Your boyfriend's no slouch either." wonder Madeline looking at Rory as she asked

"No he's not." mumbles Rory not really sure what else to say about Dean

"Oh yes - 6'2... and feisty. So how's that going? Are you two still 'Joanie Loves Chachi'?"

"God, I hope not." laughs Rory, the conversation continues about Rory and Dean until Paris finally snapped

"We have a debate to organize here and this conversation is quickly veering towards the subject of french kissing and glitter eyeshadow - trashy or trendy? And I for one have no intention of being humiliated in front of the whole class because we were forced to study in the middle of a carnival and you two couldn't keep your eye on the prize! I want to win and I'm going to win."

"So how good of a kisser is Paul Bunyan anyway?" Jokes Tina as everyone but Paris laughs.

  After offering the ticket to Paris, Madeline and Louise, the girls are now sitting at the concert as the Bangles are playing while Louise and Madeline are flirting with the guys in the row behind them while Tina, Paris and Rory are rocking out to the music.

"Oh my God! He is so gorgeous." fangirls Louise and Tina as to agree he is good looking

"I guess," mumbles Rory almost ashamed to admit it because she is with Dean

"Listen, there's a massive party going on right around the corner." catching Tina attention as she can already guess that they want to go.

"So?"

"So they invited us." 

" Who?" asks Rory while Paris and Tina roll there eyes like they were just talking about it.

"Jess and Sean, we've been talking to them this whole time, they're extremely cool."

"Are we going?" wonders an impatient Madeline

"Going where?"

" To the party?" adds in Tina sick at this back and forth

" There's a concert going on" defends Rory not happy with the idea, truth be Tina isn't happy about the idea either 

"The band won't miss us."

" We can't just leave Louise."

"What are you afraid?" grins Louise

"Of going out into a strange city with two guys I don't know? Yeah." snaps Rory not letting them go her mum would kill her

"Rory please!"

"No!"

"Well we're going" and with that, the two left not before Madeline called out "The party's in a building on the corner of Waverly and First. Try to get away"

"We'll be back by the time the concert's over," calls Louise

"You know, I really like this band" states Paris as the twins just roll their eyes this isn't how tonight was meant to be.

After explaining to their mother that they kind of lost Madeline and Louise or more that they run off with some guys the girls were now on their way to the party that Madeline had given them the address of.

"Hello? Is anyone home?" calls Lorelai as she knocks on the door

While Sookie on the other side of the hall does the same"Hello? anyone home"

As the girls walk behind the two older ladies Paris starts up the conversation "I wonder if I was missing if my mom would come looking for me like that"

"Paris, you know she would" reassures Tina as they continue down the hall

"Yeah, or at least she'd send somebody" hearing this makes Tina so thankful for her mother cause if she runs off her mother as well as the whole of StarsHallow would be out looking for her.

AS they continue down the hallway the group hear music playing from behind the door

"Music"

 "Let's go" calls Lorelai as she knocks on the door to which a Guy answers

"Mom, that's one of the guys," exclaims Rory at the sight of the man

"Yeah?" wonder the guy having no clue how they where

"Thanks. Hi, could you move, please?" 

"What?"

"Hey, did you miss me?" greets Lorelai at the sight of the two missing girls who look really shocked to see Lorelai at the party.

"Lorelai" exclaims Louise

"Ms Gilmore. Put the cups down, let's move" replies Lorelai in her no-nonsense voice

"Is there a problem?" asks one of the guys from the concert

"Yeah, see those two idiots over there? They're 16 - underage and I bet you're not. I also bet those big fancy party cups aren't holding lemonade. You really want to end any further conversations with me so step aside Skippy. Move your asses outside - now!"

As the girls leave Lorelai continues with the lecture "Hey. I am not even going to begin to tell you how completely insane it is to take off with anyone you don't know, or drink things that you don't know what's in them, or act like you have a clue when you don't, but so help me God if you ever pull a stunt like this again, it will not be around my kids! Do you understand me?"

"Yes"

"Yes"

"Good, now let's go. I can't wait to meet your parents. We have some catching up to do. I think we'll just talk and talk and talk all night long."

"You know what? I think this is the best night I've ever had" adds then Paris in a happy tone to which the two just roll their eyes before heading home for the night. There was doubt in Tina's mind that this was going to be spread around school like crazy. The Gilmore twins with the crazy mum just what Rory and her needed.
