Walking in silence down the hallway from the headmasters office to the administrations office really gave Tina a chance to take in the school, everything is clean, polished and organised if only her bedroom looked like this Tina thought as both her and Rory arrived at the desk that they think will help them find Miss James. "Hi, Were looking for Miss James." Rory asks in a sweet voice.

"Names?" asks a strick lady that Tina does not want to get on her bad side of cause it looks scary.

"Lorelai Gilmore. But I go by Rory."

"Christina Gilmore" adds Tina as she already thinks that having two first names will confuse people, so she makes up her mind that her teachers can call her, her full name Christina and her class mates can call her Tina if they want.

"Fill this out, please." as the girls are given papers to sign and fill out while she walks the files to the other desk. The two files are then handed out the window to three girls while the twins have no idea what conversation is about to happen outside.

Outside the window the three girls from the stair case earlier two of which Tina thought had a great sense of style are sitting in the bushes waiting to read the files.

"Well?"

"Shut up."

" Hurry, please. Spiders".

"Lorelai and Christina Gilmore."

"Nice stripper name."

"Formerly of Stars Hollow High School."

"Where's that?"

"Drive west, make a left at the haystacks and follow the cows."

"Ooh, dixie chicks."

"One has a perfect attendance, 4.0 grade point average."

"Bugs, dirt, twigs."

"The other has good attendance and a 4.0 grade point average as well"

"The first ones a Journalism major and the other is Pre-Law"

"That means she's gonna go out for the school paper."

"Not necessarily. She's got like a thousand recommendations in here."

"Popular with the adults and going out for the school paper and the other was on the year book committee"

"Would you stop? You don't know she's going out for the paper and we need help with the year book last year's was awful"

"Ow, something's biting me!"

"Quiet down."

"I hate nature."

"She'll never catch up. She's a month behind already and the other one isn't even going to go for the paper maybe so she's not a problem"

"You can tutor her. Be like a big sister and I liked the other one she know how to do her hair and makeup"

"You're funny maybe you should ask her for tips on hair and makeup"

"Okay, lizard and that was mean, goodbye."

"Why are they letting all these extra people in? They just take up space and screw up the curve. We don't need any new kids here."

"Too late."

"Psst."  as the files are handed back through the window

Back inside the administration office completely unaware of what's happening outside the girls finish signing the forms and hand them back to Miss James. "Here's the dining room, the science hall, and the theater. Here's your locker numbers, here's your schedule, take this map. Here's the rules of the school and the Chilton Honor Code. Here are the words to the school song, which must be recited upon demand. This can happen any place, any time. If you do it in Latin you get extra credit. Do you have any questions?" looking between the two girls who both have overwhelmed looks on their faces.

"Uh, not at the moment." Rory managers to spat out.

" If you do, you can make an appointment to see your guidance counselor, Mr. Winters. He handles everything but bulimia and pregnancy. For that, you'll have to go to the nurse or Coach Rubens. Welcome to Chilton." Miss James finishes leaving the to be on their way.

"Wow I'm so glad I took Latin now" jokes Tina trying to lighten the mood.

The twins are soon separated as they go off to different classes but later both having their first class together. " And while French culture was the dominant outside cultural influence, especially for Russia's monied class, English culture also had its impact. Tolstoy's favorite author, for instance, was. . ."

A small blonde girl raises her hand "Dickens."

" Yes. And of course, last week we discovered Dostoevski's main authorial influences. . ."

The same blonde girl answers again with "George Sand and Balzac." leaving Tina to worry if her and Rory will catch up cause normally this was Rory dominating all the questions.

"Good. As Tolstoy commenced writing both War and Peace and Anna Karenina, Count Leo would turn to. . ."

"David Copperfield." the blonde answers again leaving Tina starting to get sick of her voice and it's only been like one class.

"Correct. He would turn to David Copperfield for inspiration." The class is interrupted by two boy's enter the classroom one with sandy blonde brown hair while the other is blonde. 

"Ah, Mr. Dugray and Mr. Rothschild" the teacher says catching Tina's attention cause this Mr. Dugray is hot but Mr. Rothschild is like a perfect human specimen like a real life Leonardo DiCaprio.

"Sir."

"Sir" the boys answer each handing the teacher a note each

"Nice to have you both back. I hope your Grandfather's better."

"Much better, sir." this Mr Dugray answers while the teacher turns to the blonde boy.

"Glad that your feeling better now too Mr. Rothschild"

"Thanks Sir" he answers while giving him an award winning smile that is making Tina's heart beat way too fast.

"Good. Take your seat, please both of yours" The guys walk past Rory first staring at her while she shifts uncomfortably at the attention before they move onto the person behind them which happens to be Tina, who doesn't shift uncomfortably under the attention but inside smirks at the two before turning back to the focus on the teacher again.

"Great Expectations, A Tale of Two Cities, Little Dorrit, all major influences on Leo Tolstoy. Tomorrow we will focus on. . ." the teacher asks while the blonde brown hair kid that she later learns is called Tristan whispers to kid in front of him asking  "Who's those two"?

"New girls"

" . . .writing styles of these two literary masters, Tolstoy and Dickens. " finishes just as the bell rings "Class dismissed."

The boy Tristan turns to the Blonde guy who we learn is named Matthew but Matt for short and announces while looking to his other friend "Looks like we got ourselves a couple Mary's." While Matt laughs along with his fiends. Not missing a beat Tina turns around looking at Matt while saying the next lines"Only if your my Joseph" before she turns back around hearing her name being called.

"Miss, um, Gilmore's, could you come up here please?" the teacher asks as the two make thier way to the front "Here are last week's study materials." As he hands the girls each a huge binder "There'll be a test on them tomorrow, but since you're new, you can take a makeup on Monday. Will that be sufficient time?" Almost still in shock Rory answers for the both of them.

"Monday? Sure, that's fine."

"Good. That's just an overview. It would be very helpful to you to borrow one of the other student's personal notes. They tend to be more detailed." Leaving Tina to think one how much paper does this school use and what could be more detailed then this, Rory being on the same wave link asks the second question.

"More detailed than this?"

"It seems daunting right now, I know."

"No, no. It's okay. It'll be fine." answers Tina

"Remember to get those notes. They'll be a lifesaver." With a final nod the girls leaving the classroom each going their own way Rory to her locker and Tina to some girls she meet in maths class.

In the hallway Tina is chatting with Madeline and Louise who she learns are into fashion and beauty as well making the three girls easily friends. Across the hall Tina see's Rory walk out of the classroom and almost bumps into the blonde girl from class "Oh."

"I'm Paris"

"I didn't see you there. Where'd you come from?"

"I know who you are, too. Lorelai Gilmore from Stars Hollow and over their is your sister Christina" spoke Paris as she pointed to Tina at the end.

"You can call me Rory"

"Are you going out for the Franklin?"

"The what?"

"Nice innocent act. At least I know you're not going out for drama club." adds Paris

"I'm confused."

"The Franklin, the school paper, are you going out for it?" Answered Paris as if it's the most common conclusion from their conversation.

"I don't know, I have to find my locker first" Tina felt bad watching the scene unfold she know that Rory had to pick and fight her own battlers and the twins didn't really hang around at school that much.

"I'm gonna be editor next year."

" Well, good for you."

"I'm also the top of the class, and I intend to be valedictorian when I graduate."

"Okay, I'm going now." states Rory leaving Tina feeling bad that her sister is stuck in this situation cause from what Louise and Madeline have told her Paris can be crazy.

"You'll never catch up. You'll never beat me. This school is my domain and the Franklin is my domain. And don't you ever forget that." Paris tells her as she walks off down the hallway with Louise and Madeline following meaning Tina was dragged along.

Exiting the Hallway with Madeline and Louise they enter their next class completely unaware of what is happening in the hallway at this very moment. Finding a seat beside Louise Tina sits down talking her books and a pen out when she feels a tap on her shoulder. Turning around she is meet with the smiling face of the cute blonde guy.

"I wanted to introduce myself to you I'm Matthew but most people call me Matt" Matt told the pretty brunette sitting in front of him before adding "I love the comeback to the Mary joke, no one ever responds as good a come back as that"

Smiling brightly she responds with "Well it's nice to meet you I'm Christina but most people call me Tina and I would have though I was more a Mary Magdalene then a plain Mary that's my sister" she finishes still with a wink and smiling at him before turning to the front just to see a grumpy Paris storm into the class room followed by a guilty looking Rory. Tina made a note to ask Rory about it later.

"Seats now, please." The teacher asks once the bell rings leaving Rory to take one of the only empty seats near Tristan as Tina can hear Tristan from where she is seating "Hey, Mary."

"Okay, we left our projects off on Friday with Mr. Gaynor, so today we will pick up with Miss Gellar." the teacher asks while Paris stands up.

"I don't have my project."

"Miss Gellar, did you have sufficient time to complete your project?"

"Yes."

" And yet you don't have it done?"

"Nope."

"All right, you will receive an incomplete for this project." just as the teacher is starting to move on Tina turns her head to see her sister standing up and Tina is already mentally face palming herself.

"It's my fault."

"Who are you?"

"Rory Gilmore. I wrecked her project." Rory answers the teacher.

"Shut up." snaps Paris looking at Rory like she is burning her with lasers beams coming from her eyes.

"I don't have a Rory Gilmore. I have a Lorelai or Christina Gilmore."

"That's me."

"You are Rory, Christina and Lorelai Gilmore?

"Yes and No. And I wrecked her project. My locker got stuck."

"Just stay out of this."

"Do you go by Rory. Chirstina or Lorelai?"

" Whatever and Christina is my sister" Pointing to Tina  "It's not her fault."

"I need you to pick one."

"One what?"

"One name."

"Rory."

"Fine, thank you" the teacher answers before turning to Tina "And you do you have another name"

"No Christina works fine"

"Ok now that is cleared up. Rory, you wrecked Paris' project when?"

"Just before class."

"Very convenient."

"No, I did. My locker got stuck and when I opened it. . ."

"Stop it!"

"Miss Gilmore, since you say you wrecked Miss Gellar's project, then you may help her fix it. You have until tomorrow."

"Fine." answers Rory finally happy to end this whole thing"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I don't want your help!"

"But I don't mind doing it."

"Just stay out of this."

"What is wrong with you? I'm trying to help you."

"Well, don't!"

"Ladies, enough. Miss Gellar, if you don't want Miss Gilmore's help, then you may have until tomorrow. If it's not done, you will receive an incomplete. Is that understood?" The teacher responed finally stopping the whole argument which was stupid in Tina's opinion.

"Yes." Pairs states while sitting down

"As long as you're standing now Rory can you Christina stand up too. . .class, we have two new students. Say hello to Rory and Christina Gilmore."

Earning a "Hi, Rory and Christina" from most of the class.", Rory getting a "Hello, Mary." from Tristan and Tina getting a "Hi Magderline" from Matt with a playful smile as the girls each sit back down in their sits.

Looking around the classroom Tina see Rory sitting at her desk writing a note then passing the note to Paris, who crumples it up and throws it on the floor without reading it, leaving Tina thinking how hard core Paris is but she can't fault her as Madeline and Louise convinced Paris to let Tina copy her notes and she could not be more grateful to that uptight girl.

"Let's try another passage. "The Romanists have, with great adroitness, drawn three walls round themselves, with which they have hitherto protected themselves, so that no one could reform them, whereby Christendom has fallen terribly." Who said this?"

Tina notices that Paris is just about give the answer when Rory jumps in with "Martin Luther." now that's the Rory that Tina knew.

"Very good, Miss Gilmore. And what year did Martin Luther address the Christian nobility?"

"1520." her sisters adds beating Paris which is probably making her hate Rory even more.

"Very good, Miss Gilmore." the teacher replys just as the bell rings. "Until next time, class." leaving the class desessed . While gattering up her books and pens Tina see's Paris walking up to Rory's desk "Stay out of my way. I will make this school a living hell for you." as she storms off.

"See you tomorrow, Mary" adds Tristan as she leaves while Matt turns to Tina "Nice meeting your Christina see you around" with another Oscar winning smile leaving Tina to grab her stuff and catch up the Madeline and Louise who are waiting in the hallway for her.

Walking out to her mothers awaiting jeep she see's Lorelai and Rory hugging not wanting to feel left out Tina drops her bag and joins in the hug.

"Oh."

"So, this whole plaid-skirt thing. . .my idea?"

"My day sucked, too."

"Promise?"

"Swear on my mother's life, what about you Tina did you have a day from hell as well" as both her mum and sister look at her waiting for her answer.

With a smile she answers "I made a couple new friends and I was right the boys are so much better at Chilton" getting a clap on the back from her mum and a confused look from her sister because according to Rory the boys are just jerks.

"Ooh, still hugging, still hugging." as the three Gilmore's pull apart "So, I brought us some coffee." adds their mum bring an even brighter smile to Tina's face.

"Why, I'm shocked." from Rory and a giggle from Tina.

"Triple caps, easy foam."

"Wow."

"Yeah mum I'm so shocked"

"And if that doesn't work, we'll stick our fingers in a light socket. Come here. " as she picks up each girls backpacks and staggering under the weight. "Wow. What, do they expect you to get smart all in one day?"

"Oh, they expect a lot of things."

"Well, so tell me." as the girls climb into the jeep Tina in the back as normal.

"I don't know. It was just one big, long, scary, tweedy, bad eight hours."

"Add some hair spray, and you've got my day and Tina what about you"

"We have lots to catch up on but i got notes for my classes and I made some friends so overall it wasn't that bad a day"

"One of the girls already hates me, the guys are weird." getting a laugh from Tina cause she doesn't think that Rory gets what Mary means yet.

"Weirder than other guys?"

"Yeah, they kept calling me Mary."

"You're kidding me. Wow, I can't believe they still say that what about you Tina what did they call you"

"At first a Mary but I said I was more Magdalene then plain Mary you know" getting a laugh from her mum

"Why? What does it mean?" adds Rory totaly not getting the joke.

"Mary, like Virgin Mary. It means they think you look like a goody-goody."

"You're kidding."

"No."

"Well, what would they have called me if they thought I looked like a slut?"

"Well, they might have added a Magdalene to it." adds Lorehai as she is trying not to laugh at the shocked expression the eldest twin has.

"Wow, biblical insults. This is an advanced school." as the girls made their way back to Stars Hollow.
