{Maya's POV}
My cellphone vibrated in my pocked. I rolled onto my back and sighed, taking out my phone to read the text. To my surprise it was Riley. But why? She seemed so mad at me earlier.
👯Riley👯: Maya! Big news!
Me: Yes?
👯Riley👯: Lucas asked me out on a date!
I froze and dropped my phone to my stomach. I can't let her go. But seem excited Maya!
Me: Oooo really? That's awesome Riles! When?
👯Riley👯: This Saturday! I can't wait!
My heart felt as if it plummeted into a cold, dark black hole.
Me: Riley im coming over. See you in a few. See you there!
I texted quickly. I didn't wait fir her to reply, I didn't have time. I CANT let her go!

I jumped up excitedly. Maya mustn't be mad at me! She's coming over! I smiled then heard a knock on the window. Its Maya! She had a determined look on her face. "Sup little Plant?" She greeted smirking. Theres the Maya I know. "Knock it off" I say as I feel my cheeks get a bit hot from blushing. Maya giggled and sat down. "You-" Maya hesitated. "You can't go on that date with Lucas."
