It was morning when he woke up and heard the doctors talking about his moms death

"The police still have to figure out if it was a murder or a suicide." The nurse whispered

"But then again the accident got covered up her heart stopped beating before she was found in the water." The doctor told. The kid held this newfound information into his head. They noticed the kid was awake.

"Hey.....you want breakfast kid?" A sweet lady said.

"Yeah sure." The little kid said bluntly.

"You ok sweetie?" The same lady asked.

"I'm fine." The little kid said ignoring everything else after that.

"Breakfast will be ready and an hour." The sweet lady said.

"Ok..." the boy drawled on. Everyone left the room and it was silent except for that continuous beep. He got up from his bed and moved a chair to his fathers side. Just listening to his breathing. After 30 minutes he finally spoke.

"If you really love me.... prove it. So far you haven't proven anything to me."
