Chapter 7 - Leave Me Alone
Error woke up disoriented, his head pounding. It took him a moment to be able to register anything, but when he could. He was immediately terrified. Ink was sitting next to him. His body tensed and Ink noticed the shift, looking over and seeing Error was awake, he sighed. "Morning Error... sleep well?" He asked. Error gave no response. He didn't like being mocked, and to him, Ink was for sure mocking him right now. He turned on his side away from Ink. Ink noticed Error's coldness and sighed, "Look. I honestly didn't want to hurt you like that. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't of. I drank way too much red and I blew up and got all sadistic. You weren't even trying to really escape, were you?" Error stayed silent for a few minutes before slowly turning back around. For the next minute or so they just stared into each other's eyes. It took a while for Error to speak. "I-I-I-I wAS-WAs..." he was worried Ink would know he was lying if he said he wasn't. Ink blinked a few times, "Oh, huh, well either way that was just... way too violent. I know you're like, my prisoner, but that was just straight up, not like me at all." Ink chuckled, somehow finding humor in what he had said. Error didn't find it as funny, clenching his first. "... HoW CAn YoU LAuGh...? How CAn YoU s-SiT THeRe ANd LauGH AfTER whAT YoU diD To Me...?" He turned away from Ink again as tears welled in his eyes, staring at the wall, feeling angry and hurt. Ink was silent for a bit before just looking back to his sketch pad.
Ink sighed after a bit. He really just shouldn't take his vials. It always makes him feel things he would rather not feel. Such as remorse for hurting Error. Especially that badly. Yeah he tortured him, but he had never meant to take it that far. He leaned closer to Error. "So... do you want dinner? You haven't eaten in a while." He asked awkwardly. Error looked up over his shoulder at him for a moment before looking back at the wall, "J-j-JusT LeAVe Me ALoNe..." Ink heard Error's voice break and he noticed that he had started crying. Ink frowned, making a 'hm' noise. He went back to drawing. They sat in mostly silence, the only noise being Error's glitching and crying. That and what sounded like a ventilation system. Ink flipped to a new page, he felt compelled to be decent to Error today by his stupid false emotions. He pulled out his paintbrush and quickly made something. Dinner. For Error. He figured he would like chicken nuggets and fries, since he had wondered into the antivoid where he was munching on them a few times.
Ink slowly reached over Error and placed them down, pulling his arms back. Then he just sat there, waiting. Error glanced at the food and his stomach audibly growled. He placed his hands over it, trying not to give in. But Ink was right. He hadn't eaten for days. He was starving. He slowly picked up the plate. It was McDonald's... he could tell from how it looked alone... he slowly started eating, staying turned away from Ink. He was angry at himself. How had he given up like that already? He felt warm and slightly happy once he was finished though. It almost felt comforting to have something familiar that he liked, but as he laid there, he couldn't help but feel like there was a catch. Maybe he wouldn't owe anything to him today, but he could in the future. The thought made his warm, happy feeling body suddenly feel sick and the pain from all the horrible things Ink had done to him settled in and caused a full body shiver. It hurt.
Ink noticed Error seemed off in his own little Error world and he shook him lightly. That action got unexpected results as Error screamed in fear and curled up. Ink quickly removed his hand. "You know. I keep forgetting you had a fear of touch in the first place. Can't imagine I made that any better." Ink joked. Error didn't think it was very funny. Ink frowned, not liking Error's lack of response today. He was a little worried he had lost his speech altogether, but he had done a "soft reset" in his sleep after Ink removed his collar. He wanted to see if that would bring on a crash or a reboot that had been built up, and it seemed it did. He had quickly put the collar back on when Error had finished. Error suddenly pulled the blanket up over himself, realizing he was still naked. He didn't like being naked. Not around Ink. And not even around himself anymore.
Error wished Ink would just leave. He just wanted to be left alone. He hated Ink. He hated him for everything he had done to him. He hated him for never understanding his side of things. He hated him for sitting here and acting like everything was a big joke. He gripped his skull in his own hands, wanting to scream and cry, but staying silent. He didn't want to break down that way in front of Ink. There was no telling what he would do to him. He began to cry again, hiding his face in his knees. Ink was tempted, he had to admit. Error's lack of talking to him, even saying how much he hated him, was really starting to make him feel... impatient. He wanted more from him. He wanted entertainment. But he had promised himself Error wouldn't be hurt today due to the events of him getting way too violent yesterday. But did it count as hurting him if it was pleasuring him?
Ink knew it did, but he so badly wanted to get some kind of reaction out of Error right now. He was soo bored. He needed a distraction, I mean, he had taken the day off work to sit with him! Mostly to make sure he didn't die in his sleep from his injuries. Ink had hurt him bad yesterday. "Hm... wanna watch a movie? I heard Netflix has some new horror things." Ink suggested. Error glanced at him, but again, no response. "I could make a TV. And some popcorn. We could sit across the room from each other?" Ink was getting annoyed and frustrated. Why wasn't Error just accepting his niceness? He was doing this as an apology! He got even more frustrated thinking about it and just let himself snap at Error. "Error! Could you just look at me!? For five fucking seconds!!?" Error still refused, shutting his eyes tightly to let Ink know he wouldn't. "Error!! Are you even listening to me!?"
"I'M NoT FoRgIvInG yOU JuST BeCaUse YOu tRY tO be AlL NiCe fOR OnE dAy bEcAusE yOu "FeEl BAd"! BuT YoU jUST DoN't WAnT tO fEeL liKE yOuR ThE bAD GUy NoW! YoU doN'T FEeL Bad FoR wHAT YoU AT ALL!!" They were both silent until Ink opened his mouth to speak, but Error growled and threw a pillow at him, missing, "JuSt FuCking LeAvE!! I'm NEVER. EVER. FoRgiVINg YOu!! JuST LEAVe Me ALoNe!!" Error sat up more and threw another pillow at Ink, which hit him and then just fell to the bed as they sat in silence. Error was breathing heavily, being very upset. Ink just stared at the pillow he had throw at him, blinking a few times. Error suddenly found himself underneath Ink, his glare felt like it was penetrating into his soul. "I've tried so hard to be nice to you today Error, but you want me to, obviously." Ink held Error down as he started struggling and panicking, his body glitching out as his eyes widened, "GEt OFf!! W-WAiT!! SToP!!" He began to cry in panic.
Ink removed the remote to the shock collar from his pocket, which caused Error to beg louder, his pleas for him to stop being useless as Ink pressed the medium shock option, causing Error to cry out in pain, but he stopped struggling, and stopped begging, just looking up at Ink in fear. Ink's eye lights had been reduced to small, white dots. Error knew he had messed up. He knew Ink was going to hurt him, and he was scared. He felt a hand holding him down by his throat and watched Ink glance at his vials. Ink grabbed the pink one. Error felt fear course through him at the sight, "WAiT InK, nO, PlEasE Do TH-!!" Error's own distorted scream of pain cut him off as Ink shocked him on the highest setting. Ink's finger hovered above the button as he stared down at Error, and Error didn't say another word, his soul racing. His eyes begged Ink to stop as Ink looked down into them, but Ink felt no mercy for Error now. A mocking, terrifying smile took over Ink's expressionless expression and Error knew the mental image would haunt him forever.
Ink leaned down close to Error, who whimpered and cowered as much as he could in fear. He spoke, "At least I know I won't "feel bad for myself" after this now~" He popped off the top of the vial with his thumb, downing the pink colored liquid inside.
