As you stepped into the hotel, you gasped slightly. There were so many people there. The line to the secretary was huge. You wove your way through the crowd.

"Miss Y/N!" You heard a familiar high-pitched voice. You whipped around and was pretty sure you hit someone in the face with your hair.

"Amanda!" You said. "What are you doing here?!" You squatted to look at her as she ran to you.

"Mommy said we have to go to my granny's.." She looked down.

"Why is that, sweetie?" You looked kindly at her.

"We can't afford to stay here. Or our own home.." She went teary-eyed.

"Oh! Well.. you can stay with me! I have lots of room in my hotel! And you can have the bedroom!" You didn't hesitate to offer.

Amanda's face brightened. "Really?!" She asked.

"Yeah! Until your mommy gets back on her feet! Go ask her!" Amanda ran off. Her mother gave you a Are-You-Sure-We-Can-Just-Drive look. You smiled and nodded. She looked at Amanda, then you. She shrugged and walked over to you, Amanda following close behind. You shook hands and introduced yourselves. Her name was Kaitlyn.

"Are you sure? I don't want to cause any trouble.." She asked.

"Oh don't worry! Do any of you have cat allergies?" You asked.

The woman shook her head. "We used to have a cat actually."

"Good. Because I have one." You said simply and led them to your room, taking the elevator in the process. When you stepped in, Kaitlyn gasped.

"You can afford this?" She asked.

"Its actually cheaper than my apartment back home." You stated. "Midna!" You whistled lightly. "Here, girl!" Midna padded into the room.

"Kitty!" Amanda squealed and instantly ran to Midna. The cat purred as she pet her. You smiled.

"Yup." You said. "She's a people-cat. She's a better guard-dog than a guard-dog." You chuckled. You closed the door. You poor food into Midna's bowl and water into the other one. You stood straight up. Your phone rang. You answered.

"Yeah?" You asked.

"Y/N!" It was Nate.

"Jeez! What?" You said.

"Come over to my house at.." Pause. "8:30."

"Why?" You snapped.

"Music video!" Oh no.. You thought.

"You heard me didn't you, Nate?" The other week or so, you had used Nate's shower. Like most people do, you sang. You sang Escape From the City, too. It's not an easy song to master.

"Yes I did. And might I say.." He cleared his throat. "How did you hit those notes?"

You blushed and saw Amanda look at you weirdly.

"Don't make me blush, Nate!" You snapped. "I have guests!"

"Chill. I'm not talking about anything sexual here!" He got defensive.

"They'll think you are, you doofus!" You chuckled.

"Oh.. right.." He laughed nervously.

"You are such an idiot, Nate.." You heard a smack and figured he face-palmed. You laughed slightly. "Welp, I should take a shower. Peace."

"Bye, princess."

"Stop calling me that!" You blushed and hung up. You heard a gasp.

"You like Nate!" Amanda squealed.

"Wh-what?! I do not!" You blushed a darker shade of red.

"ShadowWantsToTiger is real!" She darn did it. She used the ship name.

"Only on my end!" You said. "He wouldn't like me back.." You set your phone on the counter. Kaitlyn was sitting on the couch, reading a magazine, and you could hear her chuckling. "You!" You yelled comically at her. "You stay out of this!" She laughed. "I mean it! I will set Midna on you and she will cute you to death!" You had a hard time keeping a straight face. You heard a muffled Hph Hph! From your phone and looked to see the screen still on Nate's call page. The call was still going.

NATE'S POINT OF VIEW

I heard someone squeal and say something, but I couldn't understand it. Y/N hadn't hung up. I heard her say: "Wh-what?! I do not!" Another sound, then, "Only on my end!" Then Y/N said something quietly. Then, she shouted comically "You! You stay out of this! I mean it! I will set Midna on you and she will cute you to death!" I laughed.
BACK TO NORMAL
You paled and quickly hung up, hoping he didn't hear anything.
"I need a shower." You muttered and walked to the bathroom. You took your makeup off (Pretend you had put some on at Nate's house. Like you put it in your purse M'kay?) and brushed your hair. You turned the water on and hopped in after removing your clothes.
Time skipé
You stepped out after drying off and wrapped the towel around you.
"I'm getting out!" You warned. And you stepped out, quickly running into the bedroom.
Another time skipé
You changed into some black leggings with a simple and adorable Pikachu T-shirt. You slipped on converse and put your makeup on. You brushed your hair after blow-drying it and tied it back. You tied your A/C jacket around your waist. You grabbed your phone and keys and walked out of your bedroom.
"I'm leaving guys M'kay?" You said.
"Alright!" Amanda called.
"Bye!" Kaitlyn said.
You left, keeping the door unlocked. You trusted them with Midna because they had had a cat before, so you were ok. As you drove, you set your camera on the dashboard and decided to vlog.
"Hey guys and gals, ShadowTiger78 here for another video! I'm currently on my way to Nate's house. He wanted me to record a video. I won't say what, but, expect it." You continued speaking about everything that had happened, how Midna was, about Amanda and her mom and all that crap. You said the outro and turned the camera off. You pulled up to Nate's house and walked right in, because, YOLOSWAGGIT. Nate walked up to you.
"PIKA PIKA!" He shouted. You giggled and he smiled broadly.
"I are a hooman Pikachu!" You yelled.
"Yes you are. I have everything set up for the video, so we just need to make sure we're all good.
"Alright." You were really anxious. You were scared, and excited.
You and Nate both shouted at the same time:
"LET'S FUCKING DO THIS!"
