{Star's POV}

I woke up in Marco's empty room. "It's Christmas!" I whispered loudly. I sprung out of the bed and slid down the railing. "MERRY CHRIS-oww." I fell off the railing and down the stairs. "Star! Oh my god are you okay?" Marco said as he helped me up. I rubbed my nose. "Yeah, I'm fine but my nose hurts." He grabbed my face and examined it. "It's fine. Now c'mon, I made breakfast." He nodded towards the table. Pancakes, bacon, eggs, orange juice, and nachos. "Aww, thanks Marco! But why nachos?"
"I got bored." Go figure. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the table. I overflowed my plate with all the food, with a side of nachos. "You like it?" Marco asked. I nodded while I continued to stuff my face.

{Marco's POV}

"Star, guess what's next?" I asked her as I cleaned up breakfast. "Monster fighting?!" she replied cheerfully. "Hope. Presents!" Star jumped up. "YAY!" She ran over to the tree and sat down in front of a big pile of gifts with her name on them. "Can I open them now, PLEASE?" I ran over, did a somersault, and landed next to her. "Now you can."

**LE TIME SKIP**

{Marco's POV}

"We each got one gift left. Open yours first." I said, scooting a small box with purple wrapping and a green bow towards her. She tore into it and delicately opened the box. "Aww, thanks Marco! I love it. She put on the star necklace I got for her at Quest Buy yesterday. "Okay, now open yours," she said. Star handed me a silver bag with white stuffing paper. I took out a metal picture frame, decorated by Star, with a picture of my parents inside. "Star, I'm speechless, I- MPH!" She kissed me. I kissed back for a moment, and then it ended. I didn't even think. "Go out with me," I blurted out. She playfully punched. "It's about time you asked me!"
