Chapter 7
"MARK!" Jack screamed as he watched his beloved sweetheart fall to the ground. He was panicking, screaming, and crying as he sat down beside Mark and held his hand.
"I- I didn't mean to. It was an a- accident." Jack's mother said as her eyes filled with tears.
"Why, Ma? WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DO IT!?" Yelled Jack. He was filled with rage.
"Don't worry. We just need to get him to the hospital. He'll be fine." His mom said, trying to calm Jack down. Mark was lying on the floor, with blood all around him, passed out. His eyes opened a little bit, and Jack ran over to him.
"J-Jack?" Mark said as he tried to get some words out of his mouth.
"Yeah, Markimoo?" Jack said as tears filled his eyes. He was worried about Mark.
"I'm gonna pull through this, and we're gonna be fine, and forget this ever happened"
"HOW CAN I FORGET ABOUT THIS!? I'M SCARED, MARK!" He screamed.
"It's ok. Just g- get me to the hospital." Jack and his mother pulled Mark up out of the floor, and carried him to Jack's car. Jack sat in the back seat with Mark while his mother drove to the hospital.
"He's gonna be fine. He's gonna be fine." Jack thought to himself.
When they got to the hospital, the doctors took Mark to a surgery room and told Jack and his mom to wait. It had been four hours before the doctors came back to the waiting room.
"How is he? How is my little Markimoo?" Jack asked the doctor in panic.
"Mark is doing just fine. He asked to see you, sir. Come with me." The doctor took Jack to Mark's room. Mark was lying in bed, when Jack walked in and ran over to him.
"How's my little Jackaboy?" Mark said quietly.
"The question is how are you?" Jack replied.
"I'm doing perfectly fine. The doctor told me I'll get outta here next week."
"Ok good. I'm really worried, Mark."
"I am too." The two boys had a conversation that felt like days. It was getting late, and Jack's mom came in and told Jack they had to leave.
"Come on, Jack. We need to go."
"Ok. Bye, Mark. See ye tomorrow." Jack smiled and kissed Mark on the lips.
"See ya later, Sean." Mark said jokingly.
"How many times have I told ye to not call me that?" Mark giggled and waved goodbye to Jack as he walked out the door, and left Mark in pitch black darkness. Mark fell asleep and dreamed about Jack. He knew that he was going to pull through this.
