Chapter 2

Jack's POV
All the way in Ireland lived a boy named Jack. He was going to go to the same college Mark was going to go to.
"Now remember, Jack," his mother was saying, "the first day of school is next week."
"Yeah mom. I know." Jack responded as he was finishing up his packing. After he was done, Jack decided to think about who he would meet at his new school. Maybe a good friend. Maybe a special someone. Jack couldn't wait any longer.
It was the next week, and the first day of school. Jack had gotten up bright and early to get ready. He wanted to impress his new classmates. Jack took a shower, put on nice, formal clothing, and brushed his bright, green hair. "Oh, man! I'm so excited!" Jack said to himself. Then, he realized it was almost 7:30. "Oh, crap. I'm supposed to be at school in thirty minutes! I gotta leave!" Jack screamed as he grabbed his bags and ran out the door. He didn't want to be late for his first day of school.
Mark's POV
Mark had just gotten off the plane and was heading towards the college. "Man, I'm really nervous," Mark thought, " this is the only college that will take me." He had just gotten to the school and was running to his class because he was five minutes late. Just as Mark was about to get to his class, he ran into a boy carrying at least three books.
"Ouch, that hurt." Mark said as he fell onto the floor. "Hey. You ok, dude?" He asked. Then, a boy with green hair looked up at Mark.
No One's POV
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." The boy said. "Who are you?"
"My name is Mark Fishbach. What's your name, man?"
"Sean. Sean McLoughlin. But my friends call me Jack." Jack said with a smile on his face.
"Well, hi, Jack! Do you need me to help you pick up your books?" Mark asked nicely. Jack looked at him, and said he didn't need him to help him.
"Oh, well ok then." Mark said in disappointment. "Hey, Jack. Are these your glasses?" Mark asked as he picked up a pair of black glasses.
"Yeah, those are mine." Jack responded. Mark put the glasses on Jack's face, and they looked at each other deep in the eyes. They felt a spark between them. Both of them knew they would be friends, or maybe more than friends.
"Boys!? What are you two doing!? Get in here and take your seat, now!" Their homeroom teacher, Prof. Walsh yelled. They picked up their books and walked into class, sitting beside each other, and having fun all day.
