Since I am updating after a long break, I'd suggest you people read a bit of the last chapter to get into the setting (because this chapter contains POV's which some of you had demanded, so for better understanding just go through the last chapter hurriedly in order to enjoy this one better 🙃)

Anika and Mallika are talking about Today's incident on the phone

Anika: Would you stop talking about Shivay for once! 😒

Mallika: Na Na Na! He was a Total Gentleman today!
You were totally lost in his charming eyes! You just couldn't stop staring at him. Don't worry! I know my handsome is irresistible. 😉
You should have seen your face when he picked you up. You were blushing as red as a tomato 🍅 Girl!

Anika: MALLIKA!! Stop now! I told you I wasn't staring at him. I was just lost in my own thoughts.

Mallika: Ya ya ! As if I'm going to fall for your lame excuses!

Anika: Aagghhhh!! Fine! Think what you want!

Mallika: 😂 😜

Anika: So tell me one thing. Who were you texting at that time. Because I am pretty sure Shivay's sudden appearance surely had something to do with you.

Mallika: 😋 About that...... I just abided by what OmRu had told me to do in case you were in any trouble. I texted them right away. They in-turn immediately informed Shivay, who FOR YOU, without thinking about anything else, left to reach you even though he was in the middle of a race!

Anika: (doesn't know how to respond to this) Hmmm

Mallika: Kya Hmmm!?! (What Hmm!?!) Just give it a thought Anika. You know how much it matters to him to show Neil down. He doesn't even leave a single opportunity. But, in your case, your safety mattered to him more than satisfying his own ego. Even though he's competitive, without giving any thought, he dropped out of the race just to reach to you!

Anika: And It was very sweet of him. But Mallika....

Mallika: Kya But?! No excuses this time! I know that he been all rude and arrogant and a total Jerk to you in the past, but still you need to admit that he has a Soft Corner for you!  He does care about you Anika. Whatever be the reason, but he does care, and You have to Admit that! There's no denying now Annika!!

Anika: Accha Baba! (Okay Madam!) Calm down! I agree with you, what he did today was really appreciable. That Jerk behaves like a true gentleman today!, but that doesn't change the fact that he is a devil, and leaves no chance to make my life miserable!

Mallika: Idiot! But listen to one thing carefully, he might be a jerk and devil, but he is a cute and Handsome one!
Let aside all his pranks, you should thank him for Today! And maybe a small gift could work 😁

Anika: Okay! I'll give it a thought.

Mallika: Hey! If you plan on gifting him something I wouldn't mind a little present too 😜😁

Anika: 🤦🏻‍♀️ Okay Ma'am. I'll give you a treat tomorrow. Okay?

Mallika: Great! 😃 Love you! 🤗

Anika: Okay. Good Night! 😴

They both cut the call. Anika tosses in her bed as she replays today's incident inside her head.

Anika POV:  "No matter what you say Anika, I believe in you."  Aaaggghhh! Impossible! There is no way that devil has a good heart!
But he did help me. He came to rescue me just in time, and the way he looked at me, looked like he genuinely meant every word and action. He even lifted me up. Why did he have to lift me? And that too in front of Everyone!! What was he even thinking?!
But what were you thinking Anika!? Why does what he thinks about you matters to you? You consider him a devil right? Or no?
Okay.... okay! Maybe a devil with a sweet caring side!
Maybe Mallika was right. I should thank him. But how should I make up for it!
Naya Siyaapa!! (New problem!) ummmmmm...... (gives it a thought)
Ya!! Maybe I can bake him something because I will never be able to afford actual gifts for him. But the only problem now is.. that I don't know HOW TO COOK!?!
Ahaan!! When will this Mr. Google come to help!
(She hurriedly gets up and moves towards the kitchen)

Oberoi Mansion

Here Shivay too is busy thinking about today's incidents. (Poor guy ! Can't figure out his own feelings yet.)

Shivay POV: I sometimes feel bad for Anika. It's all because me that people like Ragini are creating problems for her.
She is behind her, maybe because I called her my girlfriend(she is related to me).

But what's wrong with that! I don't care what other people think! She's mine.........m......my responsibility, Yes! My responsibility. I will make sure no one troubles her. Whoever creates any problem for her would have to face the wrath of Shivay Singh Oberoi. Afterall, I have full rights on her.

But why doesn't she accept me ! Aagghhhh! This girl na! Her dramas only don't end. And that Neil, what is his problem?! Why can't he just leave her alone!?!

After various attempts and alterations with the recipe our Master Chef 👩🏻‍🍳 has finally put her cookies 🍪 to bake in the oven. 

*TING*

Anika: Ahh! The cookies 🍪 seem ready!

She carefully takes them out and places them on the kitchen counter.

Anika: The cookies 🍪 smell Great! And I didn't even burn down the kitchen! 🤓
Now time to taste them!

She takes a small bite from one of the cookies and tries to judge (giving total master chef judges expressions)
... she makes wierd faces and then suddenly spits out the cookie into the dustbin. 🤮

Anika: Who cares? As long as they look nice, they are ready to be gifted! 😅🤓

Saumya enters yawning.

Saumya: How come you are awake till now?

Her eyes 👀 come across the cookies. She stretches her hand out to pick one but Anika slaps on her hand 🤚🏽

Anika: Hands off!

Saumya: My hands are not toxic ☠️😒

Anika: Get lost.

Saumya: Okay Angry Bird! I'll leave!

Proud of her cooking skills, She happily packs them in a small tiffin box and puts a cute handwritten label on it saying Thank You! 😊

Anika POV: I hope this isn't too romanctic. Right??

Next Morning 
Oberoi Mansion

Shivay is roaming back and forth in the lobby. He seems restless and keeps on looking at his watch again and again. 🙄

Khanna enters

Khanna: Shivay Sir, you go inside and relax. You don't need to wait for her. I'll stand here and wait and send her as soon as she comes.

Shivay(fumbling) : Who said I am waiting for her?! Can't a person walk around his house or look at his watch?!
I was just passing time. Why would I wait for her? I have no reason to wait for her!

Khanna(chuckles): Okay! As you wish! 😅

The door-bell rings

Shivay POV: It must be Anika Only! Shivay hurries to reach his room before she enters. In hurry he leaves his slipper behind, for which he comes back again 😅😂

He hurriedly reaches the study room. All the books 📚 are already stacked on the table. He opens a book, and lays his head down, as if sleeping.

Anika enters.

Anika POV: SleepyHead!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️. Can he for once show some interest in studies?! He really needs to work hard if he plans on passing.

She goes and wakes him up.

Anika: Uthiye Raaja Saab! (Get up, My Lord! )

He yawns, waking up from his fake sleep💤

Anika: I hope I didn't disturb your beauty sleep. I'm really sorry if I did! (She says showing fake concern 🙄😂)

Shivay (still yawning): Weren't you supposed to be arriving like an hour ago.

Anika: This was the time we decided yesterday. Don't you remember? ..... Oh sorry!! How would you remember. You are the Great Shivay Singh Oberoi, it is your assistant's work na to remember to remember such stuff. Sorry Sir! 😒

Shivay: 😒😑 If you are done giving your lectures, can we do something productive?

Anika: Sure Sir!
(She opens her bag to see the tiffin 🍪)
Anika POV: Great! I almost forgot! I hope this isn't too overboard. How should I give it to him though? Should I hand it over personally or just leave it on the table 🤔 Aaggghhhhh!!! Why does this have to be so difficult. Anika! You should give it to him yourself. It looks more humble and polite.

She places the tiffin/box of Cookies 🍪 on the table and says "Thanks for yesterday", softly.

Shivay (excited) : This is for me?! What is it ?! 😃

Anika: Ummm I don't know if you'll like it or not but I can't afford expensive gifts of your liking so I just made these my way as a token of thanks for yesterday.

He opens the box and looks at the cookies 🍪 happily 😃 just like a kid 👶🏻.

Shivay: 😃 You made these? For me?

Anika: Hmm

Shivay(controlling his emotions): This sucks! What the hell! I hope you haven't mixed some poison ☠️ or something. 🧐 (He says holding a cookie in his hand)

Anika: Forget it! 😠
(She stretches her hands to take the tiffin back but Shivay snatches it away from her)

Shivay: Don't you have manners? You can't take back a gift you give. It looks ugly though but I'll still accept it reluctantly. 😏

He takes out one cookie to taste.

They both start studying. After a while....

Anika POV: Wow! 😧 I'm surprised 😯 !! How come this devil is studying so seriously today. The sun must have risen from the West today!
