Haru/Don's POV~

I woke up in the morning to the sound of something being cooked on the stove. It smelled amazing, as always. I looked over to the direction of the sound and saw Nathan packing what looked to be a lunchbox. Along with a pretty ordinary bag. It was a bit bigger than the common ones I've seen from my world. But for the sizes of Beastman in this world, this is probably a common size for them.

I walked over and got on the seat that was next to the table. I mean, I wasn't expecting anything to be made for me, but you never know I guess. I watched as Nathan handed Josh the boxed lunch and gave a small hug before heading out.

Nathan soon noticed I was at the table and sat next to me before setting me down on his lap. I looked up at him and he smiled down at me.

"Josh is heading to work right now. He won't be back until maybe around 10:00 PM. So for today, it'll just be the two of us. You okay with that?" I nodded my head in confirmation, gaining a tight, yet comfortable hug in return.

Nathan sat me back down in the seat and made me my breakfast. Nothing over the top, really. Just scrambled eggs and toast. I mean, I'm not complaining. Food is food. He also made his own breakfast, which was the same thing as me.

After we were both done with our food, we put our plates in the sink and went to the living room. We both sat down next to each other and sat down on the couch. Curiosity seemed to have struck Nathan when he glanced down at my phone. I mean, this world has chargers like the ones we do in my original world. So it can't be that much different, aside from the model, right?

"So, out of curiosity, can you possibly see if you can go into a video viewing app? Our world has something called MewTube. But I noticed on your phone that you have an app called 'YouTube.' Wanna see if it still works?"

I nodded my head and was about to go into it, but I stopped myself.

"Do you think your world's government will come after me for using it?" I asked curiously.

Nathan raised an eyebrow a bit. "No. They never do. I've heard lots of people say that their humans come here with phones from their world. They never bother to track them unless the owner wants to have them tracked if they try to run away. You don't want to run away, do you?" I shook my head no and crawled onto Nathan's lap before lying the side of my head against his chest.

This caused Nathan to smile as I opened up my YouTube and began to watch videos. I was quite surprised to see that the videos I would watch normally still played. And the music app I use also works still.

While watching the videos, I felt Nathan lightly rubbing my back. It was soothing. It's a bit weird to think about, considering he does have a paw and claws. And yes, you heard me. Beastman still have claws in this world. Probably a form of self defense or maybe even a martial art.

We stayed like this for about a few hours before  Nathan got up and stretched his arms out. He set me down on the couch and got up to stretch some more. He looked down at me with a slightly tired expression.

"You want to go on a walk through the park like last time? Unfortunately they don't make those pepperoni rolls that you liked so much last time today. They only sell small snacks and drinks. You'd like to go either way?" I nodded my head yes. Maybe it'll give me more time to learn about this world a bit.

So, I was leashed through the bracelet and we went outside. Unlike last time, however, Nathan made sure I was really close to him. Probably out of fear of someone trying to kidnap me like last time when someone thought I was abandoned. Nathan and Josh are currently the only two people I can trust right now. I can't afford to be kidnapped by anyone.

We continued through the park and I looked around. It's currently the time that's between Summer and Fall. So the leaves are changing color, but not by a whole lot yet.

Once I stopped looking at my surroundings, something caught my eye. Or rather I caught the eyes of a lot of people. Many were looking at me, some with awe, but most with a sort of jealousy. It was a little uncomfortable to say the least.

Nathan seemed to notice my discomfort and crouched down to my level before picking me up. Now, keep in mind that I'm only up to Nathan and Josh's stomach. So for me to be picked up like this, I feel a bit like a child.

"You should shy away your face. It might help ease the discomfort." Nathan stated with a hint of concern. I did as told and hid my face away from the people of the park. Every once in awhile, I'd look up at Nathan, who always just smiles at me in return. Once we got out of the park, we went into a small store. This place mostly just had snacks. Nathan bought me the same drink from before and got himself a small big of chips.

Afterwards, we went home. Once we got home, Nathan ordered some pizza and we ate. While doing so, Nathan and I both played video games against each other. Nathan was really good at the games we played. More specifically a fighting one. I at least seemed to be a tad bit better than him at the racing ones.

We played for awhile, and eventually Josh came home. Nathan paused the game we were playing to greet Josh. Giving him a pat on the back and a towel. I wonder where he works. Wherever it is, he must move around a lot. He's practically drenched in sweat. Must be heavy having to carry around a lot of wet fur.

Josh smiled at me before heading upstairs, coming back down with clothes as he head into the shower room. Nathan soon followed after, possibly wanting to ask something. I started to play on my phone while waiting for them.

Nathan's POV~

I walked into the shower room with Josh. Before he could take off his clothes, I got his attention.

"So, I know you want to sleep with Haru after a long day of work, but... Can I please have him to myself tonight? He's just so adorable. I really just want to show him I care for him. Plus, you'll get to have him tomorrow since I have work tomorrow."

Josh thought about it while stripping himself.
"I guess. But he's sleeping with me tomorrow, no exceptions." I nod my head and walked out so he could take his shower.

I sat down next to Haru, picking him up and setting him on my lap. I smiled and kissed the top of his head, stroking his head as he lied down against my chest. After he fell asleep, I gently picked him up and took him to Josh and I's room.

I gently set him down beside me before pulling him close to me in an embrace. I rubbed his back and wrapped my tail around him to make sure he was with me when we slept. Soon, I fell asleep too, holding my kid close to me...

I really like calling him that.
