Chapter two

Isabelle's Point of View

I walked into the airplane and got in my seat. I sighed in annoyance as I tried to get comfortable in the uncomfortable seats. Why does Australia have to be so far away? Jesus, I live in America and I have to fly all the way over there to protect a damn band.

I don't know about you, but I hope this pays more than the last. I pulled my hood up and crossed my arms. I put my head down and closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep as the plane starting flying smoothly. I put shifted again, but I still couldn't get comfortable. Urg, fuck this.
· · · · · ·

I grabbed my suitcase and saw a guy with my name on it. I walked up to him and he looked down at me. He had a pair of sunglasses on and was dressed in all back. This was probably a security guard or some important person to the boys. Or another agent. Either way its fine. They both know about me and what I'm here to do.

"Are you Isabelle Morales?" he asked me, his voice deep and low. I nodded and before he got the chance to ask for my I.D. I had it out in front if him. He nodded and walked to the drivers seat, which was opposite of the one in America.

I put the suitcases in the back and got in the passenger's seat. I buckled my seatbelt and rolled my window down. "We need to go anywhere before you meet them?" the guy asked and I nodded.

"Uh our company's headquarters." I said and he nodded. The whole car ride was silent, the only sound was coming from the window as he drove down the freeway. My arm was sticking out of the window, resting on the side of the car. My other pulled a knife from out of the glove department, closing it before any papers could fly out.

"So, do you know anything about the band you're going to protect?" he asked, talking loudly because of the wind. He looked at me briefly and then back at the road, waiting for my reply.

"I know the basics. Their names, ages, family members, and what happened to them so far because of the attacks." I said while looking at him the out of window.

"Do you know how long you're going to stay with them?" he asked. I rolled up my window so he didn't have to talk as loud and replied.

"Yeah, I have to stay as long as nessecary. Until they're off of the target. It could be months, maybe even up to a year, I don't know yet."

"The company headquarters," he started and then looking at me. "Why do you need to go there? Shouldn't you already have your things?"

"You can't bring guns, knives, and grenades on a plane." I said, and he nodded. "If I did, even if I had my badge and papers, they would assume I was trying to kill them and other people."

"I understand. How are you going to keep the boys away from them? You're guns and gadgets, I mean." he asked me and I chuckled.

"That's for me to know and you to find out." I said as he pulled up to the hotel looking building. "Be back in about twenty minutes."

"Take all the time you need." he said as I shut the car door. I walked up to the building, not bothering to be secretive about it. I wanted to look like a normal person walking into a hotel to get to her room. But we all know I'm far from a 'normal girl'.

I walked into the building and went to an elevator no one was in. I walked into it and there was a keyhole into the side. I grabbed my keys and used the one with an 'X' on it. I unlocked it and clicked the highest floor number. I waited for the elevator to go up and I tapped my foot against the tiles on the floor.

The elevator dinged as the door opened and I walked out. I chuckled to myself as the leader of this building also took the whole floor as his. I walked up to his door, walking in just like I would with Jones. He turned around and looked at me with an eyebrow pointing to the ceiling.

"I'm assuming you're Issy Morales. Jones told me all about you." the man said. He was younger than Jones by maybe ten years? He seemed to be in his thirties. His black hair styled to the side and his hands were clasped together.

"Isabelle." I said, trying to swear. It isn't his fault, he doesn't know my real name. Jones told him Issy. "And I need my weapons and gadgets. The ones I told Jones to ship over here."

"Of course. They're in those three suitcases." he said and pointed to the hot pink suitcases outlined with black. I walked over to them, my heeks clinking against the tile floor. "Might I say, you request a lot of weapons for babysitting a bunch of teenage hooligans."

"They're mandatory. I need a gun and or knife with me at all times. And I need the boys to be abke to protect themselves just in case anything happens to me. So, I ordered enough for about six maybe seven people. Plus cameras and laptops and all that." I said.

"You're gonna teach four popstars how to protect themselves? Isabelle that's like teaching a fish to live on land." he said amused. "It can't be done, especially so fast. It takes months to handle a gun and months to aim a throwing knife."

"It took me weeks to aim a knife." I said pulling on from right under my hoodie's jacket sleeve. I gripped the handle and turned around, and he looked amused and proud. "I think I can teach them how to kill with a knife. If needed, I will have them practice in their garage with darts."

"How do you practice with darts? They are totally different." he said. I threw the knife and it landed right next to him, right in the middle of the X. He looked at me and clapped.

"Don't doubt me." I said and grabbed the suitcases. I grabbed the handels and wheeled them out of his office and into the elevator. I turned around to press the button and the guy waved bye at me. I rolled my eyes as the elevator doors closed and keaned against the mirrored side of the elevator.

I closed the little door to the company's floor numbers. The elevator dinged and the door opened. There were a crowd of people outside of this elevator, which made me wonder why nobody was there when I walked in. Doesn't matter anymore I guess. I walked out of the elevator as people crowded to get inside.

I walked out of the front door and saw the guy in the car. He was leaned back in his seat and his head was tilted up. I went to the backseat and put my suitcases in there. They were heavy, but I somehow manged to lift them up and put them in the car. I closed the door and got into the passenger side again.

"Twenty minutes, more like twenty hours." he said and chuckled. "What kept you back up there? I know I said take your time but not that much."

"I had a bit of trouble with the head of that building. So far it seems all the buildings have an asshole as a leader." I said and he nodded.

"Anyways, ready to meet the boys you're looking after?" he asked me as he pulled out of the parking lot.

"I couldn't be any happier." I said in a monotone voice, hoping he would catch my excitement. "I'm sure they're just as stuck-up and dirty as the last popstar I had to protect."

"Quite the opposite actually. They're really down to earth and the most active some of them ever get is onstage. They're usually eating, sleeping, on their phone, or listening to music." he said and I nodded.

"Great." I muttered.
