Chapter three

Isabelle's Point of View

I walked into the house, my pink suitcase behind me. I set them aside and took the black ones from the guy who drove me over here. He got out of the car and slammed the door shut. "Thanks for the help." I said and he nodded. I pushed the suitcases against the wall and the guy closed the door after walking in.

"Is anybody there?" somebody asked. I heard footsteps as I stood next to the guy, waiting for him to introduce me, or at least give off I'm gonna be helping them.

"Hey boys, come here." the guy said. I heard more footsteps, a thump, swearing, yelling, and then four boys walked over. They were all in skinny jeans and tank-tops, besides one who didn't have a shirt in. I think his name was Calum, yeah pretty sure it is.

"Calum, your shirt." the guy next to me said and Calum shrugged. He had a bandage on his shoulder, which I'm guessing he was the one who got hit by the bullet and that's where it was.

"Wait, who's this?" I think Ashton asked, pointing to me. Curly dark blond hair, yeah its him. "Why is she here?"

The other three looked at me, two with their lips between their teeth. Their eyes raked me up and down and I clapped my hands, making them snap out of it. I pointed to my eyes and they just smirked at me. Jesus Christ, why am I stuck with hormonal boys again? It happens every single time I'm assigned the job of being a mother.

"She is going to help with all the shootings and threats. She's here to help you guys, not to be looked at like a piece of meat. Yes, I saw you two, Calum, Michael." the guy said and I shook my head, At least somebody understands that.

"What do you mean help? What's she gonna do? Walk in front of us making them stop and stare like these two idiots?" Ashton asked and I shook my head again. The guy was about to talk but I cut him  off.

"I'm here to find and kill whoever is against you and are out to kill you. So, mind your tone with me and don't act like I'm not here." I said and he rolled his eyes at me. Little fucker.

"Oh feisty," I heard Calum mumble. "I like it." he said louder this time, causing me to grimace and his band mates to laugh.

"Calum." the guy said and he nodded. "I'm serious. She's here to help you guys from getting killed. You remember that moment when you felt the bullet go into your body? That's what she's here to stop."

"But keep making comments like that, the bullet will go through your dick. So, if you wanna keep it, keep those comments to your self." I said in the most serious tone ever.

"But Leo, she's a girl. She's gonna get herself killed, for us? For a bunch of people she doesn't even know?" Ashton said. "I can't let that happen. She has a life to live and I don't want her risking it for us, for me."

"It's my job Irwin. I risk mine to save many others. If you guys die, think about your fans. They need you boys. Like the Earth needs the Sun. If I die, it's one death no one will care about. If you guys die, your families, your fans, your friends, will never get over it." I said without any emotion in my voice.

"Your family and friends will never get over your death if you die. And I don't want the feeling of guilt, because died for me. Because she was stupid enough to risk her life for us." Ashton said. I tensed up a bit and I hope to god, (even though I don't believe in him at all) nobody noticed it.

"I have to go now, boys don't piss her off. Isabelle, don't kill them," Leo, I guess said, shooting us all a pointed look, staring at Ashton the longest.

"No promises," I said, through gritted teeth. He walked out of the house, closing the door behind him. I wanted nothing more than to put a bullet through Ashton's head but I knew if I did, I would surely loose my job. And get arrested.

"Where's the extra bedroon?" I asked them. Calum seemed afraid of me, Ashton seemed like he hated me, Michael seemed like he was into me, Luke seemed like he didn't know what to feel.

"I'll uh, I'll show you." Luke said and I nodded. I grabbed the pink suitcases first, not wanting the boys to get into them. He showed me to the room, which was big enough for me, maybe a bit too big. "Our bedrooms are right up there, and there is a bathroom in here."

"Thanks," I said and he nodded. He walked away and I pushed the pink suitcases under my bed. I left one out and grabbed a handgun, just incase anything happens while the boys are sleeping. I took out a laptop, and a bunch if baby carrot sized cameras. They were to be put in every room in the house, to ensure I knew what was happening all over the house.

I put them on my bed and took my hoodie off, getting a bit hot in the room. I threw it towards the desk and stood up, putting the metal weapon in my holster. I walked out of the room and back to where my other ones were. I picked them up and I heard the sound of glass shattering. I dropped the suitcase and turned around, walking quickly towards the sound.

I pulled the gun from my holster and pointed it forward, walking quickly and as quietly as I can in these high-heeled boots. I looked into the kitchen where Michael sat on the counter with a broken glass cup on the floor. He smiled sheepishly at me and I sighed in annoyance and frustration. "I'm so-holy shit is that a gun?"

"No it's a lollipop. What the fuck does it look like?" I said and put it away. I walked up to the big baby, ignoring the crunching of glass under my feet. I picked up the green haired hoy and put him over my shoulder. My knees buckled a bit but I managed to carry the boy over the glass, in heels.

"Holy shit, you're hot and strong." he mumbled and if I could, I would have dropped him right on top of the crushed glass that laid on top of the tile floor. I put him on the floor and went back to my black suitcase and grabbed the handle.

I rolled them to my room, ignoring Michael when he thanked me. I emptied them out on the bed and started putting them away. I heard a crash and a scream and I ran out of the room. I went to the living room and there was a broken vase and a spider on the floor. Are you fucking kidding me right now?! They're fucking nineteen years old, not four.

"God dammit you guys!" I yelled. I aimed my gun and shot the insect, making the boys jump at the sudden noise. The wood was ruined, a bullet hole shot through it. The four boys looked at the hole then at me, Ashton frowning.

"You ruined our floor." he pointed out as he walked away from the group of boys. He looked at the hole and I walked over, pushing him away. "What the hell dude?"

"Next time, smart ass, watch where you're going. Don't want a piece of glass stuck in your foot do you." I asked, actually more like stated. "Walk around it and clean it up."

"You're not my babysitter. You're a bodyguard. You don't boss us around." he said, his tall fram towering over me. His eyebrows furrowed and his arms crossed. He was trying to intimidate me, trying to make me cower down and say sorry.

"Listen here buddy, I'm here to protect you all. I'm sorry if you didn't learn that glass can hurt you. If telling you to walk around a pile of crushed glass to avoid cutting open your foot, is bossy then fine, I am. But I'm making sure you will come out alive when this is over, with as little scars, mental and physical, as possible. Even if it means locking you in your damn room to keep you from hurting yourself by being idiotic." I said, pointing the gun at his chest.

I felt a stinging pain in my cheek, and my head was facing the other way, towards the backyard. My first day here isn't going very well is it? I turned around and Ashton himself looked shocked at what he did, but that didn't mean he was sorry and wasn't mad at me anymore. I cleared my throat and took a step back. The crunching sound of glass and the gasps from the other three boys. Their eyes were widened and their jaws dropoed in shock.

"Clean up this fucking mess before one of you slice your foot. And please, for the love of god, stop dropping glass." I said and they nodded. I watched them walk around it and I went back to the front door, grabbing the handle once more.

I walked it to my room, making sure to see if the boys were cleaning it up, which Calum and Luke  were doing. I turned my head and walked to my room, leaving the door open. It's not like I was changing, which I'm sure Michael and Calum would enjoy. I started unpacking my bags, making sure to keep the gun on me and to change into a pair of sweats. I was also gonna have to be on night duty.
