Chapter fourteen

Isabelle's point of view

We walked into the Australian headquarters as the boys looked around confused. "Why are we in a hotel?" Ashton asked me and I chuckled.

"This isn't a hotel." I said simply, leading the boys into an empty elevator. They walked in confused besides Luke and Calum, they were scared, obviously. They were told their friend, or in Luke's case, girlfriend could be in danger, of course they'd be scared, worried, possibly panicked.

"What are you doing?" Michael asked me as I opened the hatch on the elevator. I clicked the button and then closed it as the elevator went up. "Where are you taking us?"

I shushed him, not wanting to explain everything to him. I'll explain later. The stupid elevator music made me want to rip my ears off, so I tried ignoring it. After a minute of retarded music and questioning Michael, the doors opened to the boss's floor.

"What is this?" Ashton asked me. "Who is Agent Dezerai?" I didn't answer him. He seems irritated by my lack of communication, but I didn't care. He was about to find out, so why answer him now?

I walked into the office, and the man turned around with a shocked look on his face. It soon turned into a smug look as I rolled my eyes. "Give up on the popstars already?"

"Quite the opposite," I said and he seemed surprised. "I need somewhere to stay, with the boys of course. Their house was ruined in an attack."

"You ruined it didn't you?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. He took my silence as an asnwer and sighed. "I can't help you with that. Don't you have friends you can stay with?"

"Because the most ruthless agent has friends," I said in a sarcastic tone. "Of course I don't. I kill for a living."

"Calum has a friend close by," Michael piped up. Dezerai nodded and gave me a smug look.

"No!" Calum piped up worried.

"See, you didn't have to come all the way over here. Your answer is right there." he said, ignoring Calum's response. "Just go to her house, I'm sure you can handle another few people to protect."

"That's not all." I said and he sighed. He looked at me an motioned for me to continue. "Two more things. I need you to have their house fixed up. Tell Jones to send my money in or whatever you guys do. I'm not asking, I'm demanding."

"And who are you to demand things from me?" he asked and I put my hands on the table and leaned over. I could feel the boys' gaze on my backside, and Dezerai had no shame as he looked at my chest. I quietly scoffed at their behavior before I spoke.

"Who am I to demand things from you?" I repeated his question. "I am someone who is capable to overruning you and taking this headquarters as my own. In a week or so I can have you cleaning toliets and taking the garbage out."

He suddenly became nervous, knowing I could do so. We both knew it, even agents from this part of the company knew it. It was simple. All I had to do is talk to Jones, and with enough persuasion and details, he would grant it.

I knew threatening people was wrong, but I didn't care. I was tired and fed up with everything right now. I wasn't taking no for an answer and I was being a bitch. I need to sleep. I've gone almost a week with sleep, I'm gonna be irritable and rude. He nodded and I smiled in victory.

"Anything else?" he asked irritated and I nodded. He sighed and looked at me in annoyance. "What?"

"Where's Leo?" I asked him and he looked at me confused.

"Who's Leo?" he asked me. "I don't have any agents named Leo."

"Our head security." Ashton told him. "He came from here. About six foot-three, brown hair, brown eyes?" Dezerai shook his head, signalling he didn't know who we were taking about. "Has a scare on his arm in the shape of a zig zag and gets annoyed really fast?"

"No clue who you're talking about." he said and I nodded. Suddenly, I wasn't so tired. I was alerted.

"You sure?" I asked him and he looked at me in annoyance.

"No, I'm kidding," he spoke in a sarcastic tone. "Of course I'm sure. I think I'd know if I had an agent named Leo. There is only one 'L' here, Larry. And he's out doing a job in England."

"Huh," I said and stood up straight. I pulled the tight leather jacket down and nodded. "I'll see you soon,"

"I hope not," he muttered under his breath and I rose an eyebrow. "Of course, take care." he said in a fake happy tone.

"We can't put Ally in this much danger," Calum told me and grabbed my wrists as we walked out of his office. "Please, she's already in enough trouble. I feel guilty enough as is."

"We have to Cal, we don't have anywhere else to stay." Ashton said and I bit my lip.

I wasn't too fond of the idea either, but Ashton was right. We had no where else to stay, and staying in a hotel will put way more people in danger. Random citizens could be injured, hospitalized, possibly killed.

The pleading look in Calum's eyes made me feel bad for the boy. I've never been out in his situation except for once, but I doubt it's hardly this bad. I sighed and rubbed my face. "I'll see what I can do Calum. If we have no where else, we're gonna have to stay with her."

"What about a hotel?" he asked me and I shook my head. "Why not?"

"Calum, there are random people there. They probably have no idea who you are and it is unfair to them. I'm sorry, but I can't risk it. My cover would get blown and you'd have fangirls and paparazzi swarming the building. I'm sorry," I said.

"It's unfair to her too! She's innocent. She doesn't deserve to be out in this whole mess." he defended and I sighed.

"I can't do anything about that Calum. My job is to protect you guys, not anyone else. Though I can try." I said and he sighed. He walked away and into the elevator.

I followed him, the boys trailing behind me. I took the elevator down to the lobby and there was a huge line. We walked out and a few girls noticed the boys. They followed out of the hotel, and I saw a few guys pointing towards the boys.

They walked over to us, and they didn't give off a friendly vibe to me. Luckily I had weapons on me just in case anything happens.but there arw teenage girls here. I sighed and motioned Calum to hurry up.

"Calum! Calum! Can we get a picture! Please!" one of the girls yelled. Calum stopped a bit but I urged him to keep running with us again. He ignored the girls and ran my way.

The media was bound to hear about this, and the fans were clearly upset that he had ignored them, but he had no choice. I was not gonna get in the middle of a fight in front of two teenage girls. And I do not want to fight in front of the boys.

When we got to the car, I got in the drivers seat quickly. "What's wrong?" Calum asked as he got in.

"Enemies," I spoke in a rush. I wasn't in the right condition to be driving, or to be up at all, yet I had too. I needed to make surw these boys are safe. "I need to lose them. Hold on to whatever, or whoever you can."

This is unedited and very crappy. I'm so sorry guys. Also, I'm sorry for the wait, I should have updated faster. I just haven't been feeling very well lately. I promise I'll update faster next time. After all, I don't wanna upset you guys. Thank you so much for reading and I love you. Stay awesome. xx
