The majority of the people Florida interacts with have something completely normal as their last words

DC's are "I'll be back soon" and every time Florida hears it before he leaves he panics because that could be the last time he ever sees him
He begs DC to promise he'll be back but DC doesn't understand and still ends it with "I'll be back soon" making Florida even more hysterical until one of his partners can convince him to let DC leave

California's are "I love you" and he says it to Florida one day before leaving but Florida stops him and refuses to let him leave without saying something else
Cali gets hurt, feeling like Florida doesn't love him but agrees, saying something else before leaving
And Florida reassured him through tears that "I love you- I love you so much- I'll miss you- please just please come back soon- I love you"

New York's are "I promise, I'll be back" and Florida worries whenever he leaves, trying to hide his anxiety so New York will say anything else to him
He tries to say something to antagonize New York before he leaves, trying to get New York to insult him or tell him to go fuck himself, but he always says the same thing

Louisiana's are "I'll be fine" he says it to Florida right before going to Washington with DC and Florida tries not to cry, asking him to call when he gets there

Texas' are "I'll see you in the morning" and it has led to Florida sneaking into his room often to make sure he's still there
