"What's that?" Florida jumps slightly at Jerry's voice, glancing back at the other, "it looks cool."

He doesn't reply, focusing on his drawing instead. Florida had always seemed more reserved than the others, watching conversations with dull eyes instead of joining in, he always seemed tired.

"Can I sit with you?" Florida nods, albeit hesitantly, and moves so Jerry fits on the bed with him.

Jerry watches curiously, Florida's movements seem a lot more controlled, Jerry pauses, was ye making Florida anxious?

"I meant it, it looks cool." He says, opting to look at the window rather than his brother's sketch book.

"Thank you." His voice is barely above a whisper, but Jerry knows he means it.

I feel like I'm floating

"He's fucking useless!" Tom yells, gesturing over to Florida, who flinches at the yelling, "why's he here anyway? It's not like-"

"Could you shut the fuck up?" Jerry says, glancing up from his place next to Florida, "he's our brother," Jerry glares up at Tom "treat him like it."

Tom huffs, "whatever."

Florida doesn't say anything, but Jerry can see his smile.

When he calls me pretty

Jerry pulls Florida into his chest, carding his hands through Florida's hair as he sobs.

Today had been... rough, Leo seemed to understand too, glancing at Florida with concern often.

"Are you alright?" Jerry whispers as Florida's sobs quiet down.

"Mhm" Florida whimpers, curling more into Jerry's chest, "'m tired."

"Go to sleep, I won't let anything happen to you."

I feel like I'm somebody

"I don't- I don't think I say it enough but uh" Florida pauses, looking away, "thanks you, for everything."

Jerry smiles, wrapping an arm around the other, "anytime."
