He finally snaps and asks why he isn't good enough or says something super self deprecating that makes the others do a double take

He's half asleep and just dumping whatever he can think of, admitting he feels guilty not being open with them but he's terrified of being himself and having them still reject him

He sends them a fic/they find out it's him writing

Someone compares him to another state on a bad day and he just breaks down

His partners ask to meet his siblings and he gets scared because they've always been better than him and they're doing so much more than he is, he's sure he'd be replaced and he tries so hard to avoid it

Louisiana compliments him and he tries to deflect then gets upset when Louisiana doesn't drop it and Florida tells Louisiana he doesn't deserve the compliment

Florida feels useless and shuts down/has a breakdown because of it
