Chapter Seven

"What's wrong?" He asked as he pulled over the car. I gulped. Tears falling from my eyes like a waterfall.

"That's....That's my mom." I cried out. I crashed my head into the crease of Kyle's neck and just cried.

"You're her son?" Kyle asked excitedly. I leaned up and grabbed something from his bag. I handed him a folder with my adoption papers.

"You're her son?" He asked again. I nodded.

"I can't believe I found my mom. Can we go back? Please?!" I begged with tears falling from his eyes.

"Of course." He said. Kyle did a U-turn and drove as fast as I could to the shop. Liz was just locking the door. He parked the car and we got out. Liz turned to us.

"Did you forget something Dy-"she started to say and she seen me crying.

"Are you ok?!" She asked and hugged me.  I pushed away and handed her a folder. She opened them and tears fell from her eyes. She looked up at me and back down at the folder.

"You're......You're....My.....Baby.....Boy?" Liz asked with tears gushing out of her eyes. I nodded and smiled. Liz threw down the folder and ran into me with the biggest hug. We both cried and hugged each other back.

"I should have knew the first time I seen you. I had a feeling but I just thought it was a feeling." Liz cried out.

"I finally found you mom. Finally!" I cried out.

She started kissing all over my face.

"I can't believe this!" She shouted and hugged me again.

"I thought you were adopted!" She said as she pulled away.

"I was until they died in a car crash when I was four. I was in the back seat and I was the only one that survived. I have been in the foster system ever since." I informed. Mom looked at me with hurt.

"I should never have gave you up. But my parents.... Your grandparents begged me too. I had to. I am so sorry I put you through hell. I am just so happy you found me. I tried to find you but-" she was saying then I interrupted her.

"I don't care mom. I had to go through hell to find you. From being beat, arrested and everything else. But that was all worth it. I have you now and that is all that matters." I said and she just broke down and cried in front of me. I kneeled down and hugged her so tight, never wanting to let go.

She kissed me on the cheek good nights and then she drove off to her house. She asked if I wanted to stay with her but I thought it was too soon for that. I just have to give this a little time and not move too fast. I got into the car and Kyle and I drove off to his house.

"I am so happy for you." Kyle smiled at me.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"For what?" He asked.

"For caring." I said. He turned and looked at me.

"I told you I cared." He said.

We pulled into the driveway and we got out. His mom was already home.

"She is drunk and upstairs. Don't worry." Kyle laughed and walked in slowly. He pushed me into the basement.

"I'll see you in the morning. Good night." He says as he shuts the door. I smile and walked down the stairs and onto the bed. I am seriously falling for this guy. I never loved anyone. But that changed. Kyle changed me.
