Percy's POV

I was sitting in the sword fighting arena after practicing with Jason, Leo, Frank, Grover, and Tyson.

"So you guys like the whole Summer of the Heroes thing, then?" Jason asked casually. There was a chorus of enthusiastic answers. "Good. Because I thought of it."

"Bro! Really?" I asked in slight awe.

"Yep. I was really tired of going back and forth all the time, and Piper never liked it much when I was gone.

"Um, hello Sparky? Your best Flaming McShizzle friend didn't like it much when you were gone either!" Leo interjected.

Jason laughed while saying, "Oh come on, you probably never notice I'm ever gone. You and Calypso spend all of your time in Bunker 9, putting together 'Leo and Calypso's Garage' or whatever!"

Leo blushed and his nose caught on fire. "Yep, that's exactly what we spend all of our time on." We all busted out laughing.

"No but seriously," Jason started again, "I thought it would be great for all of us to be together again."

"Definitely. This is going to be the best summer ever," I agreed. Especially if I could work up the nerve to carry out my plan...
