Chooki's p.o.v

I twiddle my thumbs as I watch Guren pace around the hospital grounds. It felt like i could read his mind, I knew what he was thinking, he was very worried. I knew his relationship with Ceylan was strong, but I never knew how strong, Ceylan was his first friend, but felt like he was about to lose him.

Dr. Nigel walked out of the operation room, the second we saw him we sprinted towards him. "How is he doing?" I ask "he's holding up pretty well" Dr. Nigel exclaimed "it took a lot of bandages to patch up those cuts, whatever he used was apparently very sharp." Guren struck his gaze to the floor. "C-can we see him?" He asks. Ok, I had to expect it, but never this early, I still didn't judge on Guren's care for his friends. Dr. Nigel lead them towards Ceylan's room and opened the door slowly. Ceylan was sleeping, with a blood cord in his vain. I've never seen Ceylan wearing short sleeves until now. The clothes he was wearing were folded up and placed on a table along with his goggles, shoes and core brick.

Guren sat on the edge of Ceylan's bed, trying not to wake him. I didn't see it very well but I saw Guren slip something in Ceylan's hand. On our way out i was going over to Toxsa's to tell him the news, Guren agreed he'd see Gen and Beni cause he lived closer to them. I still couldn't keep my mind off Ceylan, "why did he do it in the first place?" I thought
