I didn't think I could cheer up Keith, I needed to process all that he said. Keith was different when I was alone with him.

"Keith I'm going to sleep okay" I mumbled. I didn't hear his voice. I shuffled over to Keith and saw he was fast asleep. The many braids in his hair streaming all over the place. Something took over me, I leaned down and placed the softest of kisses on his cheek. "Good night my Keith". I lay on the hard stone next to him and though to myself what love was to me. Did I really love Allura, what were this feeling I had for Keith. I liked being with Keith sometimes more then being with Allura. They way Keith was relaxing and how he spoke with such a beautiful tone, his eyes looking into mine, the feeling of his heart beat and how it made me what to change mine so we forever beated in a Synchronise rhythm, Harmonising our hearts and breaths, No girl had or ever will make me feel that way. Keith in my mind I sunk back to sleep.

Quick third person
Keith woke with Lance next to him, their hands inches apart reaching out to hold each other's . Keith didn't want to wake Lance but he next they needed to escape today because he just knew that the other Paladins weren't coming. Keith guided his finger in small circles on Lances palm. He couldn't hide his feeling anymore, he never felt this way about anyone. Lances smile and his jokes, they way he moved like a well oiled machine and his way with words, Allura was lucky. Then Lance stirred.

I blinked sleep out of eyes, Keith was already awake. I saw him pull his hand away from mine and turn pink. "K-Keith how long have you been awake" I asked and sat up. "N-not that l only got up like five minutes ago" "well Keith what have you been doing for five minutes" I joked but Keith blushed like a tomato, when did Mullet boy blush so much. " watching you sleep" Keith. "Umm i-... how are we going to get our of here" I changed the subject.

I can't  Recite exactly what Keith had said but the Jest of it was. We force our way out of here, find the weapons with stealth then get to the lions and get the QUIZNAK out of here. But we still had time before we made our great escape.

"Can we keep doing questions" I asked. Keith though about it for a moment then surprised me, "yes but only if you play my hair" he was very quite when he said it but I beckoned to me. My back against the wall and Keith down laying between my legs, sounds weird and the skintight suits didn't help.

It was silent as I stroked his hair and untied braids. So can I go first or do you want to. "I will ask you first" he said and took a second to think, "where do you go to escape". I though for sometime. "I like to put on my voltron gear late at night, you can climb up the the top of the castle and I just sit there and look out into space and think." Keith was silent as he pondered something. "What do you have to escape from Lance" Keith turned to look at me.

I didn't want to answer, emotions bubbled up to the surface of my skin, I didn't know why but I wanted to be honest with Keith. " Sometimes I just want to escape how the other paladins treat me. I love them,we are a team but I'm constantly compared and... what difference would it make if I left the team. It's just they don't seem to value me they just tell me to be more Shiro or you but I'm not you guys I have no special talents I'm just and earth boy. I'm not that special. I'm an annoying, loud mothered failure. I, not the best flyer and I'm just the s-seven-th wheel, a w-worth-less m-m-istake".

I couldn't continue and the words tumbled over my lips and tears tumbled over my eyelids. I suddenly stood up because I needed to get out of here. I was blinded by my watering eyes and racing mind. I ran at the wall and kicked it. The pain didn't matter. I drew back my hand and punched the wall. My fist and the wall made loud cracks, I tumbled over my own feet and held my broken hand. Pain from my hand and eyes blinded me. My back slowly slid down the wall and I hugged my knee and hid my face. It didn't matter what Keith though anymore he already how knows worthless  I am .

"Lance please look at me" Keith's voice floated into my ears. I felt his warm hand cup my cheek. "Lance can I show you what I want to escape from." I didn't know what he meant but I looked at him any way. Keith gazed deep into my eyes, his beautiful enchanting stare. Keith blinked deeply and Scrunched his eyelids closed. I didn't know what he was doing. Keith slowly opened his eyes. I lost my breath and my heart lept.

Keith gazed back at me. The whites of his eyes had gone yellow like gold and his pupils went slit pupiled like snakes. Keith's galra side. "This is what I want to escape from, I'm told to be proud of it but it just reminds my how I will never fit in with the team." Keith's eyes darted around but fixed on mine. "I know it's Ugly-" he started by I cut in. "They're beautiful" my Wondrous tone drifting between the close proximity of our faces. "What" Keith blushed and his pupils expanded and I felt my own do the same. "Your eyes are like the night sky and stars, a breath taking solar eclipse staring back at me"

I was breathless and my heart raced.  Keith Looked at me and without a breath I leaned forward. His lips on mine were soft and a perfect fit. So warm and cushioned I lost myself in Keith's kiss. I have never felt so perfect and our faults drifted away. I broke the kiss to breath but I really didn't need air when my heart just wanted Keith to live. My hands knitted into his mullet and ran my thumb over the scar on his cheek. His hands at my lower back sent wildly fire into my veins.

I looked back into Keith's human eyes . So many stars glimmered in them, he was blushing with a passion and he just looked at me. " you're perfect" I whispered then tackled Keith in a hug for more kisses.
