I always admired how well Keith could fly. The controls were like an Extension of his arms, his fluid movements hypnotised me.

The galra ship shot at us, Keith dodged it and returned the fire . The other lions zoomed around the ships like annoying bees. We had to find which one held the blue lion.

As if on cue the radio started. "PALADINS I have picked up the blue lions signal, it's coming from the ship below" coran sputtered and lifted the castle shields as a massive shot bounced off him.

"Thanks Coran" Keith growled and looked back at me. I have to do this, even if I die,blue will become Allura's. '

I pushed my forehead against Keith's and softly prayed that I would kiss his lips once more. "Please be safe My love" he teased. I softly blushed as despair sunk into my heart. I will never get to see his perfect face again.

Numbly I stepped down into the lions mouth and got ready to infiltrate. The adrenaline blocked out all depressing thoughts I was focused on getting blue to Allura safely.

"Ready Lance" I heard Keith's voice hum in my ear. I couldn't speak the knot in my gut was to great. "Y-Yes" I pushed out.

The jaw unhinged and spat me out. I hit the ship once or twice but I rolled and dug my Bayard into the ships side.

I gazed into the depth of space watching the fight above. How I will miss my Kieth.

I climbed along and used my bayard to Pry open a safety exit. I lowered myself down and landed gently.

And empty hallway streaked out before me, both ways. Something about this hall was familiar, maybe Keith and I ran through here looking for the lion. That's when I remembered.

"Keith I need Allura down on the ship with me" "WHAT" four voiced buzzed. "Trust me Allura I need you down here". She obliged and after a short wait a  pink figure dropped down next to me.

"Hi Lance" "Hi Princess" it wasn't really a flirt but she still blushed.

We set out sprinting down long halls, Galra ships are like corn mazes on Steroids.

I was getting my hopes up when a armoured back stood ahead of us. A guard standing watch over the control room I guessed. He wasn't looking at us but scanning the halls.

I looked at Allura and she readied her bayard. I held my gun we both jumped out from around the corner. I aimed and fired hitting the guard smack bang in the chest. It Collapsed to the floor without noise. the pink and blue paladins advanced to the door.

Five galra stood in front of a smattering of assorted controls. They yelled at each other about which lion to shoot down. "Look look that yellow one is not moving FIRE FIRE" "Wait we need to get a clear shot" "die die die" they argued Oblivious to Allura and I about to kick their butts.

I was confident now that we could do okay. Then one of the other Galra spoke up. "Get that red one, they are a lousy pilot"....

"OOOOHHH HEELL NO YOU DONT JUTS TALK SMACK ABOUT MY BOYFRIEND INFRONT OF ME" I jumped out and screamed. The Galra taken by surprise all fell with five pulls of my trigger. "HAHHA" I Confidently Cackled.

I ran to the ships controls and looked over them. There were more guards in the ship so the faster we left the better. "Come one Allura let's go get that Lion" I was full of excitement and swiveled to Allura.

She stood there in shock and her eyes followed me. A red blush burned her cheeks. "B-boyfriend-d" she managed. Well you have done it now lance, good job.

I was blushing now to and embarrassment Travelled to my fingertips. "Umm y-yeah I'm dating Keith, I have been for a while" it's felt so right to say, Keith and boyfriend in the same sentence. "That's thats.... B-brilliant" the words didn't match her tone, she was shocked and didn't understand, hurt and must have felt like I led her on. "Umm Allura I'm" "no no no let's just get this mission over with Lance" she huffed and ran down the gray hallway. Well shoot I am so smart. I sprinted it after her not wanting to get lost again.

I rounded a corner and saw Allura sanding in the open docking bay door. Allura's back was to me and her breathing was uneven.

The blue lion towered over us, her glowing eyes looking through me a blue force field stood between us and her. Allura looked back at me. Should I do it her mind asked. I encouraged her and nodded.

Allura Cautiously treaded up to the lion. It hurt my heart to see blue go but knew it was the right thing. Letting go of blue was a new chapter of my life, one where I wouldn't have the blue lion or Keith.

Allura softly put her for head to the Force feild. I walked away wanting to give her some private bonding time with the lion. I absent Mindedly pondered Down the hall. I though of only my perfect keef, how I wanted to get back to him, hold him, tell him everything I hated about my self and vent everything.

Lost in though I walked around a corner. Three armed galra stood before me. They were as shocked as I . "AAAEEEEEEHHHHHHH" I yelped and drew my bayard. The galra made a similar sound and drew their weapons. Like a true Paladin of voltron I turned on my heel and sprinted back to Allura.

"ALLLUUURRRRAAA I FOUND GALRA"

I ran into the docking bay with clonking footsteps of galra close behind. "Allura we need to.....Allura" I faltered as she turned to me. The blue force field dissolved and so did my will to keep going. Her gaze was tear stricken and I had never seen her so sad. I edged closer to her. "Allura are you oka-" I started. A gunshot flew over my shoulder, snapping both of us back into reality.

"Allura I will hold them off, you start the lion." She nodded and clambered up into blue. I turned on the galra and readied my gun.

With every shot I put forth all of my troubles. The lion hummed to life behind me but I didn't care.

"Lance get in" Allura's worrier tone buzzed in my helmet. "No get out of here, I will find a way" I yelled and shot down another guard.

The lion whizzed out of the docking bay and left me alone battling the guards.
