After a week, it was Sunday, and Gayatri Mehra, along with her sister-in-law Sumitra and niece Ananya, was in the market in Lajpat Nagar, shopping for Ananya's 12th class farewell party, which would be happening tomorrow. Ananya was whining and panicking about not being able to find the perfect saree for herself.

Ananya (whining): "Mummaaaa, I can't find anything nice! What if I look like a disaster at the farewell?"

Sumitra (trying to reassure her): "Beta, relax. We'll find something beautiful. Look around, there are so many shops."

Just then, a familiar voice called out Ananya's name. When she turned, she saw her best friend, Neha Sharma, waving at her.

Neha: "Ananya!"

Ananya: "Neha!"

Their joyful reunion was accompanied by hugs and laughter. Ananya introduced Neha to her mother and aunt, who looked on with curious expressions.

Ananya: "Maa, Bua, yeh meri best friend Neha hai."

Neha greeted Gayatri and Sumitra with a polite namaste-" Namaste aunty, namaste aunty" and soon the conversation turned to the upcoming farewell party. Neha mentioned that her mother was also shopping nearby, and offered to help them navigate the market.

Neha: "Aap log mere saath aaiye, main aur meri maa market ko acche se jaante hain."

Gayatri (confused): "Neha, beta, how do you know Ananya?"

Neha (giggling): "Aunty, we've been inseparable since kindergarten!"

At the other shop, they met Neha's mother, Kavita Sharma. Greetings were exchanged, and with Kavita's help, they found beautiful sarees for both Ananya and Neha.

Kavita: "Namaste, Gayatri ji, Sumitra ji. I've heard so much about you from Neha."

Inviting them for tea at their house, Kavita insisted, and the Mehras accepted the invitation. Initially declining, the Mehras agreed after some insistence, especially since Ananya wanted to spend more time with her bestie.

At the Sharma residence, they engaged in hearty conversations. As they were about to leave, Priya arrived home with groceries. Both Gayatri and Priya recognized each other from their encounter at the metro station. Priya greeted everyone, saying hello to Ananya.

Priya-" Namaste aunty, hello, namaste aunty-oh aunty aap yahan?"

Gayatri (smiling): "Arrey, beta tum! You're here too?Is she Kavita's daughter?"

Ananya (proudly): "Yes, bua, she is."

Gayatri (complimenting): "Tum bahut acchi ho, beta. Helping strangers in the metro. We need more people like you."

Priya (blushing): "Oh, it was nothing. I'm glad I could help."

Everyone chuckled, and Gayatri, seizing the opportunity, started asking subtle questions about Priya's life, including her job and marital status.

Gayatri (indirectly): "Priya beta, aap kya karte hain?"

Priya (modestly): "Main delhi university mein professor hoon."

Gayatri was surprised to learn that Priya taught at the same college as Aditya but she didnt say anything about it. As their conversation continued, Gayatri subtly inquired about Priya's marital status, and Priya's mother chuckled softly, mentioning that they hadn't found the right match for her yet.

Gayatri (slyly): "so umm...And any plans for marriage?"

Priya's mother chuckled softly and replied, "Not yet, we haven't found the right match."

Gayatri (smiling and internally thrilled): "Well, I hope you find someone soon. God bless you, beta. Aur beta, aise hi mazaak mazaak mein, sometimes the right person just walks into your life, samjhi?"

Gayatri patted Priya's head softly, whispering her blessings, "God bless you, bachche. See you soon." With that, the Mehra ladies bid farewell, leaving Priya with a mix of shyness and amusement at the unexpected turn of events.

Gayatri, with a twinkle in her eye, felt a strong sense of affection towards Priya, envisioning her as the perfect match for Vihaan. Gayatri bid them farewell, her heart already accepting Priya as her future daughter-in-law.

The Mehra residence buzzed with excitement and curiosity as Gayatri, along with Sumitra, entered the house, radiating an unusual happiness.

Nana (intrigued): "Gayatri beta, aaj toh bahut khush lag rahi ho. Kuch special hua hai kya?"

Gayatri (smiling): "Haan, Papa. Aaj maine ek bohot bada decision liya hai. Ek aisa decision Jo hum sab ki aur khaskar ki Vihaan ki life hamesha ke liye badal ke rakh dega."

Nani (curious): "Decision? Kaunsa? Gayatri beta mujhe sahi se batao main samajh nahi paa Rahi....aur Vihaan...kya matlab"

Gayatri (emotionally): " Maa Maine decide kiya hai ki Vihaan ko Priya se shaadi karni chahiye."

Ananya (excited): "Wow! Priya didi aur Vihaan bhaiya ki shadi....yayyyy...Neha aur main already besties hain....ab toh mazeeee....wooohooo"

Ashok (surprised): " Magar Gayatri didi, Yun achanak se... aur yeh Priya kaun hai, aur shaadi uske saath Vihaan ki?"

Sumitra (smiles and confidently tells everyone): " Ji woh Aaj jab hum Ananya ke farewell party ke liye shopping karne Gaye toh wahan hamein........" She told the entire incident that happened today at Sharma's.

Gayatri-" Ashok, papa ,maa, yaad hai Maine apko bataya tha uss din jab main chandani chowk ja rahi thi toh metro mein meri help ek ladki ne ki thi...Priya, woh professor hai jisne humari madad ki thi metro mein. Main chahti hoon ki Vihaan uske saath khush rahe. Woh ladki bohot hi khoobsurat ,seedhi saadhi padhi likhi sab hai...sab gun hai usme...kya kya batau aap sabko "

Gayatri was gleaming with happiness.....

Nana (curious): "Lekin Vihaan kahaan hai?"

Gayatri (explaining): "Vihaan ko abhi pata nahi, lekin maine Priya ko apni bahu banane ka faisla kiya hai. Kyunki maine uss pyari si ladki apni beti dekhi hai."

Nani (emotionally): "Vihaan khush rahe, yahi toh humari ichha hai. Bas bhagwan kare ki woh Vihaan ko hamesha sukhi rakhe aur khud bhi sukhi rahe."

Ananya (excited): "I'm so excited already.....hehe"

Ashok (curious): "Priya ke baare mein aur bhi kuch batao, Gayatri didi."

Gayatri (smiling): "Haan, dher saari baatein hain, unki tasveer bhi hai." She shows them a picture of Priya which she took while she was telling about herself to Sumitra and Gayatri. Everyone likes Priya a lot at how simple yet beautiful she looked.

Nana (determined): "Hum jald hi Priya se milenge kyu kya kehti ho pranpriye?"
He teased Nani who chuckled and hid her face in hands making others laugh at their cuteness.

Nani-" bas bhi kijiye aap kab tak aise hi bolte rahenge....aur rahi baat Priya aur Vihaan ki shadi ki, toh main toh bas wait kar rhi hun ki kab Priya se milna ho aur main usse woh kangan pehna du Jo Maine Vihaan ki future wife ke liye banwa ke rakhe hai"

While they continued discussing, Aditya and Vihaan entered the house, noticing the hushed conversations and laughter.

Aditya (whispering to Vihaan): "Bhai, kuch toh chakkar hai."

Vihaan (confused): "Kya hua aap sab ko?"
Vihaan asked in his usual cold tone.

Ananya:" hehe bhaiya kuch bhi toh nahi....aap jaiye aur jaldi se fresh hoke aaiye...badi bhooooookkkl lagi hai"

She pouts and Vihaan shook his head before he went upstairs to freshen up.

After a hearty dinner, Nana, Nani, Gayatri, Sumitra, Ananya, and Ashok gathered in the living room, excited to share their plan with Aditya. They called him in, and he entered, wondering what the buzz was all about.

Nana (smiling): "Aditya beta, baitho. Hum tumse kuch important discuss karna chahte hain."

Aditya (curious): "Kya hua, nana ji?"

Gayatri (grinning): "Aditya, humne decide kiya hai ki Vihaan ki shaadi Priya ke saath hogi."

Aditya (confused):" Priya? Kon Priya? Aur Bhai ki shadi? Hain? Bhai Maan gaye? Kaise? Theek hai woh? Sar pe chot aayi kya? I swear maa Maine bol zor se nahi Mari thi bhaiya ko parson cricket Ananya ke saath cricket khelte huye!!"

Ananya sheepishly smiles and tried to get away but Sumitra twisted her ear-" achha bachu toh tum thi jisne ball flower vase pe pheki thi? Haina?"

Ananya-" aaaaa maa....sorry na...ab nahi karungi pakka.... Vihaan Bhai bachao naaaa"

She said and everyone thought that Vihaan was there and she quickly ran away giggling and the others realised she tricked them.

Sumitra (eager): arey pagal yeh sab chhod....pehle yeh bata ki tu hamari help karega ya nahi Priya se Vihaan ki shadi karwane mein? Waise bhi woh tere hi college mein professor hai!!!"

Aditya (surprised):" mere college mein? Kya naam bataya aapne?"

Sumitra:" Priya naam hai uska... professor hai history ki "

Aditya-" kyaaaaa???? Kyaaaa?????kyaaaa???? Priya maaammmmm???? Professor sharmaaaa?????"

Ashok(covered his mouth with his hand):" arey chilla chilla ke sabki scheme batayega kya???? Tu photo dekh aur confirm kar!!"

He nodded and when he saw the picture his eyes watered and he closed his eyes silently thanking God at how small the world is and how his silent prayers got heard and are coming true slowly and steadily..... He opened his eyes and wiped his tears.... Everyone was surprised to see him like this....

Nani (curious): "Tumhe Priya achhi lagi?"

Aditya (smiling): "Haan, aur yeh bhi, woh meri teacher hai. Main unhe bohot achhe se Janata who..... Woh mere liye meri badi behen jaisi hai....maa aap janti hain main unme aapko dekhta ho.... Agar woh meri bhabhi ban gayi...toh sochunga jeewan safal ho gaya.... Aur raha sawal Vihaan Bhai se unki shadi ka....toh main bohot khush hun....kyuki main janta hun... Priya ma'am Vihaan bhaiya ke liye perfect hain...aur Vihaan Bhai Priya ma'am ke liye perfect hai....aur main yeh shadi karwake hi dum lunga....."

Everyone looked surprised, and Gayatri couldn't hide her happiness.

Gayatri (joyful): "Sach? Toh tum dono ko pehle se pata hai ek doosre ko?"

Aditya (nodding): "Ji haan, maa. Mujhe Priya ma'am hi padhati hain..."

Nana (content): "Toh yeh toh aur bhi achha hai. Tum dono ko ek doosre ka already connection hai."

Ananya (excited): " maa bua papa Nani Nana Bhai.....I can't wait for the wedding to happen....!!!"

Aditya (smiling): "Haha Haan Ananya main bhi"

Nani (happy): "Humein kal hi Priya se milna chahiye. Aur humein unke parivaar se bhi baat karni hogi."

Ashok (enthusiastic): haha papa ji...itni jaldi nahi karni chahiye...warna Priya ghabra jayegi....ek do din rukte hain...Vihaan se baat karte hain aur phir chalte hai Sharma's ke yahan, yeh rishta toh bohot achha hoga. Main chahta hun hamara vihaan khush rahe aur Priya bhu"

Aditya (smiling): "Main bhi intezaar kar raha hoon unse milne ka. Finally unse keh sakunga apne man ki baat"

The Mehra family, now filled with hope and happiness, looked forward to the union of Vihaan and Priya.

Gayatri was thinking and smiling -" bas bhagwan ji ....ab mere bache ki pariksha mat lijiyega.... Priya ek johit achhi ladki hai....aap un dono ki Jodi apne haathon se sada ke liye pakki kardo...."

Nana and Nani smiled at her and Sumitra hugged her-" jiji....aap tension mat lo ..ab sab achha hoga..."

With that they all went to their rooms and decided to go and just then Aditya stopped them and told them-" arey arey ruko ruko...main toh batana bhool hi Gaya... Vihaan Bhai toh Priya didi se already mil chuke hainnn....!!"

Everyone -" HAIN!!! KAB!! KAHA!!KAISE!!KYU!!"

Aditya-" hehe...woh actually na woh Maine bataya tha na trip ke baare mein .....toh Priya ma'am Vihaan  Bhai se Milne aayi thi sponsorship ki baat karne aur Vihaan Bhai unhe drop karne Ghar bhi Gaye they!!!"

Aditya told everything in a dramatic and romantic manner with full details.... And just then Gayatri and Sumitra decided to plan something -" hmmm Sumi....ab dekhti Jaa.... Vihaan kaise bhaga bhaga Priya se Milne chalega"

Sumitra -" sirf Milne nahi jiji...Shadi ke liye haan bhi karega"

They both laughed and high fives leaving the rest confused.....
