3RD PERSON POV

It has been 1 week since Ocean spoke to Mariah and Ocean. More like had a full conversation. They would text Ocean a group chat but Ocean would just say she's busy which was kinda true. She was having an orientation for her new job at Universal Studios. It helped because Robert was able to have a small break from his job because of Starkid Homecoming which his boss was pretty okay with. Since then, Mariah and Robert had hung out together after homecoming practice. They were already best friends beforehand but they hung out every single day. And they had both told each other what they did on their last movie night. 

FLASHBACK

"Wait, hold on," Robert says. "You, Mariah Rose Faith, kissed, Ocean Kaneko after you went back to your apartment?"

"Yes. And you, Robert Manion, kissed Ocean Kaneko twice before me!?" Mariah said

"Yeah! So, what the fuck!?" Mariah exclaimed

"So, does that make Ocean a slut if she kissed two people on the same day!?" Robert asked

"No! She is not a fucking slut! Don't you dare say anything like that about Ocean! She didn't know that she would get kissed by two people on the same day! It's not like she was the one who initiated the kiss!"

"Yeah, yeah you're right. I'm sorry. She would never do that," Robert says. He felt guilty for calling Ocean that

"Anyway, what do we do. We both like her but she can only date one of us," 

"I mean she can date 2 people at once but that's frowned upon by a lot of people," 

"True, but let's just let Ocean do what she wants," 

FLASHBACK OVER

Ocean sat in her room, contemplating if she should talk to Robert and Mariah about what happened a week ago. She checked her phone for the time. She remembered the homecoming rehearsal schedule so she decided to visit Mariah and Robert during their lunch break. She had 3 hours to 

She got out of bed and fixed herself. She showered, brushed her teeth, and did her hair. She also picked out a cute but simple outfit. An oversized green sweater, black skinny jeans, and a black beret

After getting dressed, she was about to go out but she decided she had enough time to make one of Robert's favorite rehearsal snacks, brookies. She tried to hurry but at the same time, she tried to make them perfect. To pass the time while they were baking, she went to her balcony and picked 2 roses that she was growing on her balcony. She made sure to clean it up and take the thorns off

TIME SKIP

A batch of brookies and 2 roses in hand, she walked into the building and knocked on the door of their practice room. She knew by now their lunch break should be now. And just as the door was opened, everyone was walking over to their bags and talking

Robert and Mariah were talking as they walked over to their bags and taking drinks from their water bottles. "Should we go talk to Ocean later today?" Robert asks Mariah. He took another drink from his water bottle

"Maybe," Mariah says. "I mean I live right next to her but you saw her texts, she's always busy!"

"She had her orientation. She is busy but she would have her day off today. It's Saturday," Robert says

"Hey Robert, Mariah! Get over here!" Lauren says. She saw Ocean and asked why she was here

"Oh, I came here to deliver a batch of these brookies to Robert and Mariah!" Ocean says. "I heard you like these too so if you'd like you could have one too,"

Robert and Mariah came over. When they both saw her, the two of them were shocked but also happy. They didn't have to find Ocean where ever she was going to be

"Hi guys, We haven't talked in a while but I can here to give you these!" Ocean says. She held up the plate of brookies and the two roses on top. "Sorry for avoiding you guys,"

The two of them didn't speak they just immediately hugged Ocean. "It's okay Ocean. We understand," Robert says. He ruffled the top of her hair and took one of the roses

Mariah took the other rose. "Thank you for coming here Ocean," she kissed the top of her head. She made it look as platonic as possible but that, of course, made Robert a bit jealous

"If you guys want, we could hang out after your guy's practice ends?" Ocean suggests. "We could go to the mall or go out for dinner. Maybe just staying at my apartment and we can just chill,"

"I think Mariah and I already want to hang out,"

Ocean let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god," she says, "I thought you guys were gonna be mad at me,"

"We could never be mad at you! Or at least for a long time," Mariah says. She hugs Ocean one more time

"Yeah!" Robert agrees

"Okay so, 6 pm, my place. We can decide what we're gonna do from then," Ocean says. "I should get going, bye guys!" She placed the plate of brookies in Robert's hands and starts to walk away. She made sure to wave on her way out

TIME SKIP

 Ocean decided to wear a pastel blue and white plaid skirt, a light pink shirt tucked in, and an off white color cardigan. She put on a white crossbody purse and light blue boots. She quickly brushed her hair, keeping it in the same style as she had if earlier that day

She then heard her phone buzzing. She picked it up, "Hello?" She says

It was Robert. "Hey, Mariah and I are waiting in the parking lot. Mariah's driving. You almost ready?" He asks

"Yup, I'm just leaving my apartment now," Ocean says. As she said that she was rushing out the door. "I'll be right there,"

"Okay," Robert says. He hangs up and he waits for Ocean with Mariah. While waiting, they talk. "So, what are we gonna do about Ocean. We both like her but only one of use can have her unless we ask our fans, friends, and family to ask if they're all okay with it," He was wearing a black shirt and jeans with a black belt. Along with some black sneakers, pretty casual

"But wouldn't that make us dating? No offense, you're just a friend to me," Mariah says. She was leaning against the car. She had a burgundy long-sleeved off the shoulder shirt and light blue jeans with some black boots

"No actually, I have a cousin in a poly relationship and she says that she's dating 2 people but her boyfriend and girlfriend aren't dating," Robert says. "So we're good,"

Ocean approached the two of them. "Hey, guys where are we going?" Ocean asks. She smiled at the 2 of them

"I was thinking of just taking a nice drive downtown and then maybe we can get burgers or something. Maybe go shopping," Mariah says

"That sounds great," Ocean says

The three of them got into the car, Ocean in the passenger seat and Robert in the back. Ocean took a picture of all three of them, Mariah was focusing on driving, and Robert made a silly face. Ocean posted it on her story and tagged the 2 and put the words, "Night on the town with these beautiful people @ robertwmanion @ mrahstagram" 

Robert took out his phone and took a picture of Ocean smiling all cute and stuff like she was in the middle of a laugh. He put the words, "Who's this smiling small person in the car with me? @ oceankaneko" He was tempted to put 'cute person' instead of 'small person'

After taking a bunch of photos, the 3 of them arrived at The Americana at Brand. They got out and started to look around. They really didn't plan on shopping, just eating and taking pictures

Ocean walked over to the fountain and said, "Take a picture of me!" She sat down on the grass next to the fountain and crossed her legs. She smiled softly

Robert took out his phone and took some pictures. "Yes! Work it, honey!" He imitated a teenage girl

Mariah laughed she sat down next to Ocean and hugged her. She pucked her lips and pretended like she was gonna kiss Ocean's cheek

Ocean put her hands in Mariah's hands and kept that pose for the picture

Robert took the picture and chuckled. He sat down on Ocean's other side and took a picture of him gasping and making a disgusted face at how Ocean and Mariah were posing. After he took that he said, "Okay back of Mariah stop hogging Ocean," 

Mariah stood up. "Okay let me take your guy's pictures," She took Robert's phone

Robert lifted Ocean's legs and placed over his legs and he put his arm around Ocean's shoulders. He smiled, for the picture and out of the pure joy of this situation

Ocean smiled too. Her cheeks blushed a light pink color. She hoped it wouldn't show up in the pictures. She was happy

The three of them then took a normal picture together before strolling around the mall. It was a few hours before they close and the sun was slowly setting. They made sure to take pictures of each other during the sunset because of the aesthetics and stuff

After they were done with that place, they hopped into a car and ended up going to Univeral Studio City Walk

The three of them walked down to Voodoo donuts for some epic looking donuts. Everything looked like a fever dream to all of them because they kept on laughing at the most random things as well as all the bright lights around them

After getting their donuts they sat down somewhere and ate. They did a donut cheers before taking a bite

"Holy shit I haven't have a donut in like, a year," Ocean says

"Same, I tried not to eat sweets but today is my cheat day," Robert says, still chewing his bite of donut

"It's a good donut," Mariah says, going in for a second bite

After finishing their donuts, they picked up the box, which still had some donuts leftover, and they walked around some more. They took a few more pictures before leaving

"Where to next?" Mariah asks, getting into the car, the time was 9 pm and she was still energetic

Ocean, on the other hand, wasn't so energetic, she was already dozing off once she got into the car. "Anywhere. . ." She said in a whisper. Instead of sitting in the passenger seat, she got into the back

Robert sat next to Ocean. "We should all go back home, can you drop me off, Mariah?" He asks

"Yeah, it is getting really late anyway," Mariah says, she put on her glasses and started driving

The car was silent, Mariah and Robert made the conscious decision to stay quiet so they could let Ocean rest

Robert was looking on his phone before he felt something poking his arm. He looked over to see Ocean with tired eyes

Ocean held out her arms like she wanted a hug

Robert chuckled softly. He unbuckled himself and scooted to the middle seat to be closer to Ocean. He put on his seat belt again and put his arms around Ocean. He kissed the top of her head

Ocean hugged him back. She felt safe and comfortable in his arms. "I love you. . ." She whispered before she fell asleep. 

Robert's cheeks flushed red. He smiled and held her close. "She said she loved me," Robert says to Mariah. His tone was in the middle of bragging and pure happiness

Mariah rolled her eyes. "Lucky," she responds. She felt that the ping of jealousy hit her directly in her heart. Though she liked Ocean, she wasn't too sure about a poly relationship. She also considered Ocean's happiness. She wanted her to be happy but she seemed happier with Robert as a romantic partner. She knew that Ocean is happy when they hang out but only as friends

The rest of the car ride was silent. Mariah dropped off Robert first. She waved bye before immediately going back to their apartment building. Once there she had to carry Ocean to her apartment and tuck her into bed

Before leaving, Mariah sat down on Ocean's bed. She looked down at her sleeping beauty. She kissed Ocean's forehead softly. "I love you Ocean," She says softly. She stroke Ocean's hair out of her face and smiled. "We fell in love in October. That's why, I love fall, looking at the stars. Admiring from afar. My girl, my girl, my girl. You will be my girl. My girl, my girl, my girl. You will be my world. My world, my world, my world. You will be my girl'  She sung before standing up and leaving. Tears fell from her eyes but she kept a smile on her face
