Peyton's Pov:

'Ugh, this is so not fair!! Like how come all the other schools let everybody out but our school says all ninth and tenth graders can't.' I think as I pull up to the school in my purple BMW car. Well, at least they're more parking spaces. 'And I know what you're thinking like what is a tenth grader doing driving here in New Jersey; well my school district believes that once you hit ninth grade you should be able to drive if not then you take drivers Ed instead of one elective and gym. So yeah I know that's pretty dumb but hey at least I can go to Taco Bell whenever I want.

   The sound of a door slamming brought me out of my thoughts. I look up ahead and see Cam walking...no strutting towards the school like it's his bitch. Okay well someone's not in a happy mood!!! Maybe he's still mad about the whole Jayce situation, and yeah I know all about it because like duh I'm his best friend and I know how to get things out of him.' I walk out my car making sure to grab my book bag, green taco bell freeze, and my keys. And head in the direction of him and Keith's car; well mostly Keith's since he always drives it. Once I get to my destination I see Layla and Keith exchanging tongues against his car door like their lives depended on it. Ewe it's too early for that shit like damn. I swallow back my throw up and say really loudly "how many times do I have to tell y'all it's too early for that nasty shit like nobody wants to see that!!!" They instantly pull away from fright and Keith glared at me while Layla blushed so red her face matched a tomato. "And how many times do I have to tell you to mind your own damn business when things obviously don't concern you in any way, shape, or form!!!" Keith said coldly.

   I literally laughed out loud right after he said that and Layla joined in too. "Baaaaaabeeeeeee calm down she's just joking," Layla says grabbing his hand and intertwining their fingers. Keith looks down at her and back to me then lets out a loud sigh. "You better be lucky I have my baby girl here to calm me down or else I would've fried your ass," he says and kisses the top of Layla's head right on her temple. She blushes and looks down while saying "so did you need something Peyton?" Ha oh yeah I did. " oh well I was just going to ask Keith what's up with Cam since I heard him slam the door and yeah?" I say while looking towards the school. "I honestly don't know but I'll talk to him later but it probably has something to do with Jayce since he's been in a pretty shitty mood since he got back from his house," Keith says matter-of-factly. I nod and say "ok I'll go talk to Cam. Have fun sucking each other's faces". They both blush bright red and Keith smirks while Layla gets on her tippy toes and kisses his lips softly. "Ewwwwwwwe ya nasties!!!" I shout as I run away towards the school. As I'm running I hear them laughing loudly from behind me. Ugh, I hate when they do that in front of me.

Cam's Pov:

"I'm a boss ass bitch bitch bitch..." I sang out loud to myself as I started getting my binders for the day out of my locker. "I'm sure you are but could you help me find my locker," an unknown masculine voice said. "Oh my Jesus" I shout putting a hand over my heart "you scared the crap out of me!!!" I turned completely to my left and see a guy who looks almost my height which happens to be 5'8 with brown curly hair and light-rich chocolate eyes. He chuckled then said "My bad but anyway I'm Daniel also I'm new and I was wondering if you could help me find my locker?" Hmmm, he seems pretty chill and laid back. "Oh I'm Cameron but you can call me Cam," I said taking his schedule out his hand and looking at it.

   "Ok so your locker is three down to the right from mine and we both have Math, English, Lunch, and Science together," I said handing him back his schedule. "Oh true but I have a question for ya?" He asked looking right into my eyes like he's trying to take my soul. "I-um ok," I say trying to sound unaffected by his death-defying stare. "Why don't you tell people? I mean I can tell everyone here isn't that bad?" He says matter-of-factly. What the hell is he talking about? I looked at him confused and ask what he's talking about. "I mean why don't you tell people your gay?" OH, MY GOD!!! My eyes literally popped out of my head as I stared at him wide-eyed. How does he know? Wait who asks those kinds of questions to someone you just met. How- "look there's no need to get all defensive in your head I just know, like the fact that you're trying to put on a smile for the world even though you're hurting inside." I looked at him shocked out of my mind. "I don't know what you're talking about-" he cut me off by saying "yes you do as well as I do and I won't tell anyone I promise but you need to tell the guy that you're in love with how you feel because the longer you wait and the longer you try to avoid him like nothing happened the worse you're going to feel in the end when he's with someone else!!!" Daniel said shouting at the end.

   Is he a side-kick or something like damn Daniel? "Look I'm not a fortune teller I can just read people very well so if I were you, Cam, I'd tell him soon and you should also tell your family because I have a feeling they're going to take this all really well!" He says and then looks at his phone. "I-um I can't tell them at least not yet and I can't tell J-... the guy since we're friends..." I said trailing off. Wait did I just tell this random kid I just met my biggest secret. I think I might die. "Well you can tell your family whenever you're ready but this guy you love isn't going to be there forever just to wait for you to make you move!! just remember that but anyway it was cool talking to someone other than my mom and sister for the last three days!!! See you in math." And with that, he walked away towards the cafeteria.

Wow. Wow. And wow. Am I really that obvious? "Hey, Cam who was that? wait is he the hot new kid everyone is talking about?" Asked Peyton as she came running up to me. "Yeah..." I said still think about what he said. "Oh cool well are you ok you looked kind of mad earlier and I'm guessing it has something to do with Jayce so do you want to talk about it or nah" I snap out of my thoughts when I hear Jayce's name. "No I'm fi..." suddenly I see Jayce out the corner of my eye laughing with his ex-girlfriend. Well, I guess Daniel was right I really don't have forever.
