Jimin woke up to the loud taps of Taehyung's dress shoes inside the room as he bolted up out of bed. He didn't expect to be met with such an appealing glimpse of Taehyung but when the younger fell to the ground out of sheer terror from Jimin suddenly sitting up, Jimin couldn't help but laugh loudly. "It seems you'll be spending the day with me," Taehyung announced from the ground, allowing a relieved sigh to escape his lips after his heart stopped racing. Taehyung gracefully stood to his feet and dusted himself off as he glanced at Jimin. "I was honestly coming to wake you but since you're awake, get ready and meet me outside the door in thirty minutes," Taehyung instructed hastily, stepping out of the room to allow Jimin privacy. Although that action alone gave Jimin no room to argue as he dashed for the shower. He showered rapidly, using the body wash on hand before jumping out and promptly throwing on clothes.

Jimin hastily fixed his hair and threw on his shoes before he realized how well dressed he was for spending a day with someone. He wondered why snazzy dress clothes were left out for him but he stepped outside the door nonetheless as Taehyung offered a wide, boxy grin. "Don't you look nice all dressed up? Now. Come with me," Taehyung instructed firmly as Jungkook grabbed Jimin's hand happily and tugged Jimin along. Jimin didn't even realize Jungkook's presence immediately and that made him feel guilty. Especially since Jungkook had been so nice to him. Jimin glanced over at Jungkook, offering a soft smile when he realized that Jungkook was dressed to the nines as well and tilted his head. "T- Taehyung? Wh- What are we all dressed up for?" Jimin asked skeptically, eyeing the way Jungkook had fixed his hair. Jimin had to admit it was a damn good look for him as he caught himself staring at the younger before shaking his head. "Don't worry. Taehyung won't say anything to you if you stare at me," Jungkook encouraged with an innocent smile. "In fact, I'm certain Suga and daddy wouldn't mind watching us please each other," Jungkook whispered playfully, covering his mouth when Taehyung glanced back.

"Kookie? What are you talking about?" Taehyung asked sternly, only to earn an innocent smile from his charge. "Nothing, daddy," Jungkook assured enthusiastically, trotting to keep up with Taehyung's long strides. Taehyung glanced over at Jimin as he opened a bay door to the back of their gang's compound, stunning Jimin. Jimin honestly thought he'd never see the sun again as he basked in the warmth of the glowing rays for a moment. "We're dressed the way we are because I have business deals to attend to while you tag along with me. For some odd reason, Suga wants you to understand some of our operations," Taehyung explained honestly as he walked them over towards the car, a driver opening the door for the three of them. When Jimin entered the car, he noticed Hoseok already sitting on the seat across from them with a pleasant smile. "Hey," Jimin greeted excitedly, wondering why Hoseok was with them too.

"Why does Hoseok have to come with us as well?" Jimin asked curiously as Jungkook snickered softly at the innocent question. "In case anything goes wrong, silly," Jungkook answered blatantly, thinking that should be common knowledge. "Although so far, Hoseok has never really needed to be here, it gives daddy peace of mind," Jungkook explained calmly, snuggling into Taehyung's lap as the elder chuckled softly. "Yes, yes it does," Taehyung admitted softly, running his fingers through Jungkook's silken hair as he turned his eyes toward Jimin. "I was informed that I'd be sharing some personal history of mine with you to convince you that Suga isn't as dangerous as you may think. We all thought you were opening up to him but I suppose we were reading too much into something that wasn't actually there," Taehyung reasoned quietly, earning a soft snuggle and content sigh from Jungkook. Hoseok and Jungkook both knew what Taehyung was about to share but neither one could say anything since it was an order from the highest command.

Taehyung was silent for several moments before he began, collecting his thoughts. "My story isn't as tragic as Hoseok's past but... I wouldn't say it was easy either. My mother was mentally unstable but she loved my father and I so much. So much so that she eventually found out that my father was cheating on her. In her mental instability, she shoved me to my knees in front of my father and placed a loaded pistol to the back of my head screaming that she brought me into this world and she could take me out of it too," Taehyung started to explain, pausing momentarily to collect his thoughts once more. "She loved my father so much that she was willing to kill me, him, and herself so that we'd stay a family for all eternity... When she cocked the loaded gun that was still firmly pressed to the back of my head, my father rushed to stop her and she shot him point blank in the chest out of reaction... I- I witnessed my father die right before my eyes as she cried inconsolably over him," Taehyung added softly, remembering the pain of being left all alone in this cruel world that day. "Before I could stop my mother, she cocked the gun again and swallowed the barrel of that pistol without any hesitation. I... I watched my mother blow the back of her head out without any remorse, leaving me a lonely orphan. Although I was fifteen, I didn't know what I was going to do with myself and bolted from the house... I ran as far away as I could... Sobbing like a child the entire way," Taehyung explained softly, shaking the thoughts away from him as Jungkook hugged him tightly.

"It was then that Suga found me. I'd collapsed to my hands and knees in front of some dilapidated building that he was prospecting and he'd heard me sobbing uncontrollably. He offered me a tender hand that I tightly clasped onto for any sort of support. He... He helped me through that trauma and treated me like a prince. The same way my mother used to treat me... He allowed me so many months and time to heal that I couldn't be more grateful to him. If that means giving him my body whenever he desires or doing his dirty work for him... So be it. I owe him so much that I don't think I could ever repay all his kindness," Taehyung finished explaining, patting Jungkook's thigh patiently and waiting for Jimin to say something. Although Jimin simply buried his face in his hands to cry for Taehyung, alarming the younger. "I- I didn't know you two had been through such tough times," Jimin stated through his tears, hiccuping from how hard he was crying. "You two are so strong and brave... I can only hope to be like you two," Jimin continued as Taehyung and Hoseok both rubbed Jimin's back for comfort. "Hey now, don't cry. We obviously put our pasts behind us with a lot of time and help from Suga. So trust us when we say you have an amazing handler. He still takes care of us to this day so he'll surely take care of you too as long as you allow him," Taehyung whispered tenderly, hoping it would cheer Jimin up. Especially since they were almost at their destination and Jimin needed to be vigilant once there.

When they arrived at their location, the driver opened the car door for them once again. Taehyung nodded toward Hoseok as Hoseok nodded back at Taehyung before the younger climbed out of the car. Jungkook and Jimin followed silently behind him as they approached a rowdy looking bunch of men. Jimin huddled in closer to Jungkook as Taehyung walked ahead of them, exuding an air of confidence while Jungkook rubbed soothing circles along Jimin's back. "Don't worry. Taehyung will protect us if anything happens and Hoseok will protect Taehyung. After all, Suga finds those two most precious out of all the charges he's had. You may even become one of the ones he finds most precious too," Jungkook stated playfully, pulling Jimin along beside him.

Taehyung had approached the roughest looking man in the center of the group, both negotiating over something Jimin would never understand as he tried to pay close attention to them. That was until someone put their hands on his narrow waist, sliding them up and down the length of his sides. Jimin froze out of sheer terror as a dark voice whispered in his ear. "You look mighty fine. I haven't seen you here before," the voice whispered seductively, licking the outer shell of Jimin's ear. Jimin hastily covered his ear and aggressively looked to the source of the voice to find a very greasy looking guy behind him with oily brunette hair and dark circles under his even darker eyes. They almost seemed soulless as Jimin made a face at the man. "Let go of me," Jimin quietly yet aggressively stated, trying to wriggle free. "Who said you could leave, cutie?" The greasy guy asked, tightening his grip on Jimin's waist. Jimin struggled with the man, feeling an impending sense of doom crash over him as another voice caught his attention.

"Let go of him," Jungkook demanded sternly, knowing that these men should be smart enough to know who Taehyung works for and that they shouldn't be messing with them. "And who's this cute little bunny?" The greasy guy inquired playfully, roughly grabbing Jungkook's wrist. Jungkook tried to yank his wrist free, only to be jerked closer to the unappealing male. "Let go of me," Jungkook grit out quietly, trying not to disturb Taehyung's work but also desperately attempting to get free. Jungkook hadn't felt fear like this since prior to meeting Taehyung and it wasn't a feeling he was familiar with after meeting Taehyung. Taehyung did a lot to protect Jungkook the way he explained how Yoongi did a lot to protect him growing up.

"Please," Jungkook added to his plea, yanking on his wrist again- including his free hand in the fight as well. Jimin tried to fight the guy's grip on him as well but they were both stuck, coerced to endure the mercy of this despicable man. Jungkook had now planted his feet and was yanking hard on his arm to free his wrist when the greasy male suddenly released him, sending Jungkook sprawling to the ground. Although Taehyung was in the middle of talking, the loud scuffle and boisterous laughter of some idiot caught his attention. When Taehyung glanced over his shoulder and saw Jungkook glaring up at a greasy man from the ground with a busted lip, all Taehyung saw was red after that. Without any thought or hesitation, Taehyung turned towards the man laughing and cold cocked him across the face- sending him sprawling to the ground himself. His hands immediately released Jimin in an attempt to catch himself.

Jimin scurried over towards Jungkook to ensure he was okay as well while Taehyung approached the man he'd knocked down. "Didn't your mother teach you not to touch things that don't belong to you?" Taehyung inquired aggressively, picking the man up from the ground by his collar. Taehyung stood the man to his feet before decking him again, knocking the guy to the ground once more. Taehyung picked him up by his collar once again and stood him on his feet, punching him over and over while he held the man steady. Nobody on his side dared to make a move to stop Taehyung since they were all aware of whose charge he used to be. They figured he would have known by now too. The greasy man begged Taehyung to stop, although all logic was out the window when he saw that this man had hurt his baby Kookie.

Jungkook stood to his feet next to Jimin, wondering if he should stop Taehyung or go grab Hoseok to stop Taehyung. Although, when the greasy man's pleas fell on deaf ears and he realized nobody was going to help him, a loud metallic bang reverberated clear across the silence. Jungkook and Jimin glanced around wildly as the greasy man fled Taehyung's grasp and back to his group. "You dumb motherfucker! You fucked with the wrong person! You just shot their Boss's precious charge! You've incurred a wrath you have no idea about," their leader screamed at the greasy man, all of them fleeing in terror at that moment. There was resounding silence all around them as Taehyung remained frozen, a look of alarm on his face. "Taehyung?" Jungkook asked hesitantly as Taehyung seemed perfectly fine. That was until a small pin-drop sized red dot formed on the front chest of his white dress shirt, rapidly spreading into a large red splotch on his shirt. Jungkook's eyes dilated wildly when he realized what had happened now, his scream shrill as he rushed towards Taehyung. Taehyung staggered backward at Jungkook's voice, stumbling over his own two feet before limply dropping straight to the ground as Hoseok bolted from the car and rushed toward Taehyung.

Jimin hastily pulled Jungkook away from Taehyung so that Hoseok could help him if needed. Hoseok could discern Taehyung was in immense pain as the younger grit his teeth but it was the gurgling sounds in the back of Taehyung's throat that caught Hoseok off guard. When he noticed blood seeping out the side of Taehyung's lips, Hoseok realized one or both of Taehyung's lungs were filling up with blood. Hoseok desperately pushed against Taehyung's abdomen, trying to force access blood out of his air passage so he could at least breathe a little. Hoseok turned Taehyung's head to the side to allow him to vomit up the blood he forced out of Taehyung's lungs. "Get to the car now! I'll grab Tae," Hoseok instructed hastily as Jimin and Jungkook rushed for the car. Although Jungkook was fighting Jimin to be with Taehyung, he managed to get Jungkook to the car fairly quickly. Hoseok promptly lifted Taehyung's limp body off of the ground and rushed towards the car. He laid Taehyung gently on the seat and continued to push the access blood from his air passage before forcing air into his lungs by performing CPR. "Stay with me, Tae," Hoseok begged, realizing Yoongi was going to kill somebody whether Taehyung lived or died. Although, if Taehyung died Yoongi would kill them all without remorse.

While Jimin was unnerved to see what would happen if Taehyung died, he couldn't stop thinking about what those guys had said. They were so alarmed by the turn of events but that wasn't all. It was what they declared so openly that made Jimin think. Taehyung was Suga's charge and yet, they said Taehyung was the precious charge of their group's boss. Jungkook had mentioned earlier that Taehyung and Hoseok were both precious charges of Suga's and yet, those unsavory men mentioned their boss. Not Suga. Jimin stared at Hoseok striving to relieve Taehyung of any blood trapped in his lungs as Jimin finally put two and two together.
