Two hours had gone by since we arrived at the store, scarlet made me try on twenty dresses all of which didn't "cut it", she said they were dimming my light. Me and Jake Sat in the window bored as scarlet ran off to get another dress, she came back with three dresses one was a sleeveless, long crimson red, another was a long, petal pink, and the last one which caught my eye was a long sleeveless light green blue. I was again shoved into the dressing room to try them an and model them afterwards, it was a tie between the red and blue green dress. The red dress was a long sleeveless dress with a sweet heart neck line, the back had a small train with tiny diamonds along the edges, diamonds also speckled randomly up the torso, it was a skinny torso, the bottom of the dress fluffed out a good size but not so fluffy that it was hard to walk in. The green blue dress was a long sleeveless dress also with a sweet heart neck line, the torso was a better fit it was still skinny but didn't suffocate me, the back had no train but the whole bottom of the dress fluffed out a bit more then the red one and was decorated with gold flecks, the color also made my dull colored eyes pop out by a lot. In the end the red dress won by vote, and because it was "more appropriate for this occasion" as scarlet said, but I swore I would come back and buy the blue green one. Scarlet also made me stop and get my nails done, while I was doing that she bought new makeup. I sighed "why do these occasions always feel like weddings or a coronation?" I asked, Jake just shrugged. After my nails were done we headed back to the pack house to prepare a speech and help set up the yard. Sam was already yelling orders at the pack, visibly frustrated he put his index finger on the bridge of his nose, looked down and shook his head. "Uh can I help?" I asked, Sam looked up and smiled "yeah.. Go tell Alex what music you want at the after party" I nodded and walked away, by the time the yard was set up I was tired and decided to head to bed early.
