When Sam came back with Alex, they both were concerned and confused, not only could I sense it but they said so as they discussed something I couldn't hear. I decided to finally come out of my room, Sam must've  heard me coming down the stairs cause they stopped discussing th topic. The rest of the pack and scarlet had gone on patrols "morning" I said sleepily rubbing one of my eyes, Alex just nodded Sam waved. I went to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. "Shouldn't you be preparing for your birthday tomorrow?" Alex said watching me, I shrugged "I don't really need to dress u-" and suddenly as if someone rang a bell scarlet rushed up from behind me "yes! She does" I jumped at her sudden appearance, Sam just laughed "in fact I'm taking her to town to get a dress" scarlet added, Sam suddenly looked over his laugh replaced with a serious mood "what town? What store? And who are you taking with you?" he said protectivly which made me look up shocked that he wanted protection around me. Scarlet looked confused for a second then quickly seemed fine, I bet Sam mind linked her. "Silver town, the dress bouquet, and I can take Jake with us" scarlet offered, Sam nodded and I sat there confused looking between th two. After I slowly finished my coffee with three people awkwardly staring at me or making little conversation, I went upstairs to get ready, slipping on some shorts and a t-shirt, scarlet knocked on the door as if on cue to see if I was ready "yes I am" I groaned not wanting to go shopping, and really not wanting to go to the town my horrible and sort of secret past was in. Jake, scarlet, and I where walking on the sidewalk when we passed my old house, I shivered. When I first moved here I was with my mom and dad who had no idea about me being a shifter, I guss it came from a long lost bloodline, anyways my parents were running from the law and decided to settle here. My mom was always drinking and my dad was always either drinking or abusing me in front of her, even sexually. Sam was the one to find me bruised and crying out in the woods, I decided that one particular night that I was done, after a long abuse session I ran, far and deep into the woods where Sam found me on the ground. Since that day I have discovered my future as a shifter, I considered him my savior and he kept my secret. Suddenly scarlet stopped, we Must have arrived at the store I snapped out of my flashbacks and followed her into the store.
